Just bought this mic for my yt and gaming and extremely happy with it. Mic quality is great for the small price of £50. Boom arm is great quality and fits nicely with my setup. The foam top and pop filter are great accessories and work very well and the usb was a great length and sturdy. Definitely worth the price 10/10

Yeah, and I wouldn't feel bad about starting out with such a mic. Fact is, components for audio devices have gotten so better in just the last few years that what you could get out of a $35 mic would have cost you a couple hundred dollars just 5 years ago.
Please don't use the Popfilter and the Windfilter at the same time. The Windfilter is made out of Foam and is like the name says just for filtering out Wind Noises if you are outside. For Potcasting just use the Popfilter... It Sounds better, its filtering better, and it doesn't change the audio quality of your Mic. So its just a little Tip from me which i heart often from Audio Tec. Pros... Best regards Oliver

Been watching a lot of reviews about this mic. Can't find any where people are yelling or voice acting high-energy lines. All very conversational/lower levels for audio/db. A colleague of mine bought one and we were testing it. Their high-energy lines (yelling and such) resulted in forced shaving or cutting all the high/low parts on the top and bottom of their waveforms. We know very well about lowering gain in Audacity for higher-energy lines and upping the gain for lower-energy lines. No modifying gain - even down to 10 for recording volume - fixed this. Even his low waveforms still cut off on the top and bottom. But regular conversation audio was fine. They have no equipment that could be causing this. Literally only the mic plugged in. No sound input settings modified, either. What's going on??? We can't figure it out.
I just bought this mic, and it was the only one in stock anywhere I could find in my country lol. Otherwise I would of had to wait a very long time to recieve from overseas and a big postage fee
Hey just a quick tip, maybe you could do a keyboard sound test because I feel like a lot of people want to know if the mic picks up outside noises and background stuff

The main issue I see with this setup is that the USB cord should be a 90 degree connector coming out the bottom of the mic. Of course this can be corrected by either buying an adapter of just purchasing another cord with a 90 degree plug, would have been nice to have that cleaner look at the mic end. I would still purchase this budget mic for sure though.
what happens when you are playing music from speakers in front of you? (not too loud) im just curious because i heard its supposed to capture only your voice and not what in front of you.

mic sounds very crisp for me. but it picks up A LOT of minor noises. Using noise cancellation does help but it makes the mic sound muffled
