MAONO AU A04 KIT: I think (in my opinion) this is the best one for the price What makes it the best? The power and gain that it has because most mics they have to be close to your mouth and it kinda feels annoying so putting this mic far away from you is very good and it won’t bother your vision on the monitor
the siren mini mic from razor has long term issues coming from experience. I've had this mic for over two years and through these two years I've had issues with the device not working properly disconnecting and being unable to reconnect, drivers missing or receiving a error code which is the following {This device cannot start. (Code 10) The I/O request was canceled.} ive tried fixing these issue but never got any to work. bear in mind that at first when i encountered this issue i bought another mini mic (the exact same model and stuff) and had the same problems, overall i really enjoyed the way it didn't take a lot of space and its nice audio i like its ability to be high quality without being expensive id give it a 7/10 if not for the issues but it would have to be a 5/10 for it well since im on this video now ill be seeing myself with a new microphone soon hopefully though this one wont have as many issues.
I mean he provided samples for you to choose from? Sound is very opinion based. Different audio nerds would likely all pick a different favorite from this list lol.
I think reason why he might not have mentioned which one is the best microphone is that everyone's preference could vary from another person's preference some people might need different mics for different things some just needs one mic

Btw, TDCatTech contacted Maono about the A04 mic since they changed the chip inside. He has a link to where you can download a firmware fix that could fix the mic's sensitivity.
Hypercardioid is actually more sensitive on the rear than a cardioid mic, hypercardioid is specifically better than cardioid for side rejection (we use them a lot live for drummers)
Thanks for the video, It was exactly what I was looking for! Some constructive feedback: - To be honest, the "Sudotack ST-800" was nicer to listen to than the microphone you were using during the video, because that one is picking up all the echo from your room and it is really annoying to listen to, almost to the point of getting a headache, sorry. - What's up with that constant video sway? The video is constantly moving like the camera is floating on water. Don't make us sea sick when watching you're videos. :p Groeten van een andere Belg!

I love these as out of the box reviews but I feel you could explain to people that they can post process the signal. You can set up your signal chain to have gates/compression/limiters through OBS and such.
The only thing i wonder is does the on board chip the sudotack help if you plug it directly into ps5? Because i have that first fifine mic and it sounds clear but no where near as good as it can sound on a pc with effects.
It could be the setting and the output device. The result could vary quite a lot with different volumes of the TV speaker for your console or the headphones for your PC and the sound doesn't feel the same even it's the same audio source with different output devices.
How can I avoide Windows from lowering automatically my mic volume? I'm really struggling with it and I've done everything to fix it butnone is working :(
If you were to choose one for doing voiceovers, commercials, PSA's etc. which one would you choose? Also, what's your recommendation for higher budget up to $100?
This is how you do a mic testing video. I’m in the market so I’ve been watching so ma y and this one is great, seems a couple of these could be exactly what I need. I also need to add a quality noise cancellation aspect for certain videos so I don’t he has ever done that test or maybe we can get him to do one.
Mics are recorded in obs studio with the pc I'm on (which I also use for recording my screen). My own audio is recorded by a Rode NTG3 connected through XLR to a Zoom F3. Not the best shotgun for indoors, an AT4053B or MKH50 would be better options.
I liked the video but there was one thing you could have done differently and that’s not talking the whole time while you clicked on the keyboard and mouse so we can hear it for our selfs instead of u telling us abt it but other than that good job man!!
I would recommend Steelseriesgg. It's a full virtual mixer for all audios from gaming, music, discord chat, etc. But you can also change the EQs of each audio channel. Which means you can change the way your mic sounds and how your game sounds as well.
Got the Finine t669 ( which is the K669b but with the whole mic kit and detachable cable) and I am happy with the product for the price I payed. its now starting to show its age but its working the way its supposed to. would recommend it.
@Nox_GG I have the Fifine K669 with the Mic stand and Shock Stand, and I've been rocking it for over 4 years. I don't see any need to upgrade to any newer condenser mics or XLR mics yet bc it still works amazingly. I also use the Steelseries mixer software to EQ my voice as well, and it sounds that much better. I would highly recommend it if it's on your radar.
@@dsajacob the stand is showing it's age, one of the screw came off, but was able to fix it back. I can't decide between the Razer mini and the Solo Cast
the solocast has the mute button which is so much easier instead of using a software so id go for that but thats just me
I can’t decide either
The new siren has a mute button btw
I had a mic kit once. I couldn't use the arm because my desks were all thick, so they sounded the same as my laptop mic
I think the hyperx sounds the best out of all of them. What do you think?
