So true, also my husband and I NEVER eat out
Not because of the cost, not because of nutrition, but because of flavor
We cook every day and eat like royalty. Because we don't spend money on that we eat the finest cuts of meat
Filet mignon, the finest cuts of pork etc and we still save money
We use the crock pot 85% of the time to save time
However it's quicker to cook a meal than to go to a restaurant and that includes Clean up

@@anav8598 you can write about $5 a square foot of work area off of taxes. For example if your work space in your home is 200 square feet. 5x200= $1000. So instead of giving ~$300 to the tax people which is what you would pay for $1000 profit at the end of the year. You can keep it and not give 30% out of that $1000 to the government.

@@anav8598 so, my accountant writes off a portion of my home because I use it as an office. You get to write off a part of your mortgage and utilities, in my case, or take a standard deduction. Wow! Hey girl, loving your new apartment! I'm so happy for you both! I'm hoping to move south 🙏 Life has been challenging, to say the least. We lost our 15 month old baby girl almost 2 yrs ago. 3 boys that are 21,17, and soon to be 9. My fiance has his own custom motorcycle parts business, but sales have been slower due to higher costs of things and changes to the economy. I also have started an online ladies' clothing business but haven't gotten any sales yet. I have it on 3 platforms and am trying to improve it. Along with other things. Life that four letter word. Any advice would be greatly appreciated if you have any, of course. Best of luck! 😀

Congrats! Renting is throwing money right out the window every single month or paying the condo owners mortgage every month with your rent money plus a bit extra ( probably) for their monthly living expenses. The rental fee could have been applied to a monthly mortgage payment for a home ( or condo) before rates go through the roof! And it is a tax deduction. But everyone views and uses money differently! !
    Enjoy your rental!

I can’t fathom having a level of liability in owning a home they would make me wanna rent just sayin 🤷🏾‍♀️

She does not specify why they move, but here’s the thing about being young. If you’re young is not really recommend to buy a house. Main reason is work opportunities. Another big reason as a young couple is to explore their opportunities and what they really want in a city or town.
Imagine, you buy a house, but later on you got a your dream job offered to work in another town. Not only is your dream job, but the paid is much better.
As you can see having a house can be an obstacle. Also, come on we all been with someone in our 20’s and by the 30’s we broke up. Now imagine having a property with them. Buying a house is not a great decision for young folks. A house is a lot of responsibility and great for families of people who are more stable and are for sure staying in that location for more than 5 years

@@annsmith7207 that’s a great point, her lifestyle is totally different from everyone else according to each individual’s desire. I think the concern is that lots of people who view her channel are working class people who have not reach her comfort zone and just looking for advice of how to make better decisions for themselves.
I believe lots of people dealing with financial difficulties could see as her lifestyle does not necessarily could be reached for themselves, but here’s thing.
If I was her producer or had any saying on her channel I could tell her to have two different TH-cam channels, one could be focusing on money tips according to working class people and another channel concentrate more on millionaires lifestyle. Nothing wrong with it obviously, but as you can see this two world can collapse and cause problems.

My thoughts exactly 🤷🏾‍♀️.. some one said it had to do with too much liability owning a home.. but I just can’t see how paying someone else’s mortgage is better than the potential costs associated with homeownership. The rewards outweigh the risks in my opinion.

Great choice! I love the Continuum ❤ I lived in the south tower for the 2 years of the pandemic, best investment I ever made. Look out for when the butterfly’s hatch in the bush out by the beach entrance!

I’m used to thinking about renting as equivalent to throwing money into a black hole. You spend the same amount of money or more per month for your living (at least that is the case where I live - I know it’s not everywhere) but get nothing back for it. At least in something you own, you get can sell your house and get back what you put in, if not more as housing prices continue to go up. So given that, what made you choose to rent instead of buy?

I agree.. but apparently property or real estate is only for older folks lol.. I was told my entire life to own.. but perhaps there’s some logic in giving your money towards someone else’s investment… but I don’t see how that works for a person who is no longer in there 20s.

It depends on what market. There are some places where owning is expensive enough that you could get better ahead by renting and investing the difference, but it's a lot easier to make an excuse to skip your investment than a mortgage
