It's real and the honest transparency that I love following you. Morning routine or night routine next, please. Oh, and I thought you had a furbaby?
No way!! You left our city!?! Well I can’t blame you honestly. And the congestion pricing will be an even better motivation to call it quits. Proud of you BFF
@@anav8598 you can write about $5 a square foot of work area off of taxes. For example if your work space in your home is 200 square feet. 5x200= $1000. So instead of giving ~$300 to the tax people which is what you would pay for $1000 profit at the end of the year. You can keep it and not give 30% out of that $1000 to the government.
@@anav8598 so, my accountant writes off a portion of my home because I use it as an office. You get to write off a part of your mortgage and utilities, in my case, or take a standard deduction. If you have a “set” area that you use as an option and you have your own business, that’s how this works.
Nice place, This should be motivation to all on this channel. I'm jealous in a good way. My wife and myself are a few years away from having a second home on South Beach. Thanks for the tour. Time To Grind!
I want sofas just like that where they are deep so you have room with some cushions. I don’t see that too much but for my back issues I need comfy smooshy sofas lol
Nice... But for that money I would live in Newport Beach, California.. Miami summers are simply awful. I am guessing the no state income tax is a big appeal here.
Wow! Hey girl, loving your new apartment! I'm so happy for you both! I'm hoping to move south 🙏 Life has been challenging, to say the least. We lost our 15 month old baby girl almost 2 yrs ago. 3 boys that are 21,17, and soon to be 9. My fiance has his own custom motorcycle parts business, but sales have been slower due to higher costs of things and changes to the economy. I also have started an online ladies' clothing business but haven't gotten any sales yet. I have it on 3 platforms and am trying to improve it. Along with other things. Life that four letter word. Any advice would be greatly appreciated if you have any, of course. Best of luck! 😀
I also love the sink faucet to the side (we redid a bathroom and about to redo the main) and the black on white looks so slick!! Really big balconies and yes NYC you’re usually facing a building zero views to water sometimes or the park. My parents lived there before they passed and my kids love NYC I’m just not a city person enough to live there
Bienvenidos a miami! I’ve been here for 20 years and love it! My first apt was at the Yachtclub. Congrats! FYI-Best dim sum is South Gardens. A bit of a trek for you, but worth it if you are craving it.
Congratulations the apartment looks amazing. I'm going to guess fully furnished that has to be like $20k/month or $2.5 mill to buy. Looking online in Miami there's places that are smaller with not nearly as nice furnishings that are $7k/month.
Such a beautiful place. Been wanting to move to Miami for the longest time but now that I have a remote job I can but I can’t seem to find a 1 bedroom for under 2k a month and that seems so ridiculously high 😢 I’m a hard working single woman who makes good money but I don’t want to work just to pay rent. #stuckinchicago
Beautiful home! Florida will be my next home state once I leave NY. Florida has become expensive being everyone is relocating there. Enjoy your beautiful new place!
Congrats! Renting is throwing money right out the window every single month or paying the condo owners mortgage every month with your rent money plus a bit extra ( probably) for their monthly living expenses. The rental fee could have been applied to a monthly mortgage payment for a home ( or condo) before rates go through the roof! And it is a tax deduction. But everyone views and uses money differently! ! Enjoy your rental!
That’s what I thought too.. but apparently no one else agrees lol.. I personally think it’s foolhardy to be renting anything once you’re in your 30s.. which I think she is… like why pay someone else’s mortgage is the first question I asked? I can’t fathom having a level of liability in owning a home they would make me wanna rent just sayin 🤷🏾♀️
She does not specify why they move, but here’s the thing about being young. If you’re young is not really recommend to buy a house. Main reason is work opportunities. Another big reason as a young couple is to explore their opportunities and what they really want in a city or town. Imagine, you buy a house, but later on you got a your dream job offered to work in another town. Not only is your dream job, but the paid is much better. As you can see having a house can be an obstacle. Also, come on we all been with someone in our 20’s and by the 30’s we broke up. Now imagine having a property with them. Buying a house is not a great decision for young folks. A house is a lot of responsibility and great for families of people who are more stable and are for sure staying in that location for more than 5 years
This is an excellent example of how money is viewed and how it is applied in one’s life. Everyone is different and if this works for her - good for her. But it is not for everyone . And that’s fine, too!

At least in something you own, you get can sell your house and get back what you put in, if not more as housing prices continue to go up. So given that, what made you choose to rent instead of buy?
