    Rich people's favorite hobby is making more money. Taxes just happen to be one of the obstacles. Real estate just happens to have a lot of tax advantages, hence the reason why it's one of the best investments... just as long as you are willing to put in the work.

You're helping alot of people out especially young people like me still in their youth but I've noticed that the videos are rushed, there is just so much to talk about and very little time because you want your entire point to fit into the video. So if you don't mind please make a video or a Yt short recommending books that will set us up for financial wisdoms. Books that talk about taxes, fundamentals on investing and also explain the terms and concept that a beginner investor would come across. Thank you❤️

    How does the putting money into a Roth to save money on taxable income work? I have a 401k but say I wanna put money into a roth ira to save on taxes as well. How will the irs know to tax this amount?

    • @alrocky
      @alrocky 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      With Roth 401(k)/IRA you pay tax upfront, so you want to favor contributing to Roth 401(k) while in relatively low tax bracket. Favor contributing to traditional 401(k) while in relatively high tax bracket.

    Hi Vivian can you make a video for people who are like me almost 50+ to invest for retirement? Thanks so much

    • @luckyuize
      @luckyuize ปีที่แล้ว

      It's never too late to start saving for retirement. What's most important is that you start planning out the expected costs per year and how you will have that money. If you have nothing saved, start looking into retirement accounts like 401K or Roth IRA depending on your income. The IRS allows a "catch-up" period where you can contribute more to the IRA.

    Getting professional help with your finances isn't that expensive and given most people's level of financial illiteracy and outright innumeracy it's kinda dumb that most people will send their cable/isp $200 bucks a month but won't spend the same to build a plan with a CFP/CFA and have quarterly check-ins.
    I think most people would rather complain about things being unfair vs sitting in some office and having someone tell them they need to think hard about how much eating out two nights a week is worth to them.

    Let’s talk about maxing your IRA contribution through your employer to avoid taxes. This is something poor workers are not told. If you make $40k or whatever and you contribute $15k to IRA you lower your taxable income and sometimes the taxable income is so low you won’t pay taxes

    If you want to be successful , you take most responsibility for your emotions , do not place the blame on others . In addition to making you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life.
