The link for the pipes doesn't match the thingiverse page shown in the video and the industrial silo link leads to a 404 error. Is there any way you could update the links?
@@adamwynthro9934 whoooops, updated
@@CCMinisI didn't see the file for the filament roll silo. Do you have a link for it?
@@trent9629 updated under industrial silo - thanks for catching that!
@@CCMinis Thank you! Really appreciate the fast response too
The "Down Your Up and Up Your Downs" made that look amazing. It really sells the realism
Great example of taking different pieces and painting them with some consistent and complementary colors to make a table full of terrain
This is a really helpful and effective guide to starting out with terrain for 40k tenth edition! Very few videos cover the making, the painting and the purpose of each type of terrain. Great job!
Thanks! Really glad you enjoyed and got some value from the video
Great video! Really useful and concise, I'll definitely be back to watch this a lot!
one of the first sponsors that has left me actually considering the product, that printing speed is crazy and I'm definitely considering once I get more settled after moving out
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks!
Pretty cool techniques here . Love the rust effects !
Great video! I really enjoyed watching it 😁
As usual your techniques are simple and you explain them well
Thanks Rory!
Love the paint jobs!!!!!! Awesome video as always 😊😊😊
Thank you!
@@CCMinis you are welcome 🤗
Love the 1:1 modeling brush - choice - gonna call you the Gouache Boss
Aye thanks Twin!!
Another fantastic video! My thanks good fellow / keep it up. Excellent work.
Glad you enjoyed it!
terrain for the terrain gods
Killer vid man!
Hello from Terrain4Print, nice paint jobs dude! I gotta check out those gouache paints. Like oil wash but with water.
Oh man! Those speeds are too tempting
It's kinda crazy how fast it goes!
I really like those pipes. They look great.
The hairspray technique is way cool. Way.
"Gouache, the best paint that I still can't spell." : )
Kudos on the 'coming out of the coffee cup' shot. Nice.
Cool video my friend!
Thanks T-Nu!!
You had me at 'top belly'! 🤣
Top tum tum
Sweet video man love it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Man I love your content, you need more subs
Awesome!
I'm going to have to go back through this video and find up all the files you used. There's some really good stuff in these.
Check the pinned comment ;)
@@CCMinis was the pinned comment removed, good sir?
@@TheLastLightProject looks like it, re-pinned
@@CCMinis My man, thank you
Very cool. Will try the gouche thing
Heck yeah, it's fun stuff!
down your ups and up your downs is now going to live rent free in my head right next door to wet the dry's and dry the wets.
Really cool.
One of the best terrain kits I consider GW ever sold was the original Aegis defense line. I'm still salty about GW getting rid of it.
Do the hill! Jokes aside those prints came out great. I'm not sure im ready to lose my ender 3v2 yet, but I've got a starting point to consider it i change my mind
Thanks Night City! Its a great printer, but so is the ender!
Good style bro keep it up
Thank you bortha
That gauche wash is AMAZING
You're amazing Barron!
Links to the free terrain would be great 😊
Inspiring video! Do you think it matters if you use cheap vs good quality gouache? I learned the hard way that cheap oil paints can be a bit gritty for oil washes. 😬
Nah grittyness just adds to this technique - it is a "dirty" oil alternative. Don't go into it expecting it to be as smooth and the cheap stuff works just fine. The set I use now costs ~$12 for 24 paints
Looks awesome man, i might need to get a 3d printer soon lol
Do iiiiiit
Great vid.
Really enjoyable video thank you. What's that jade paint you use? The coverage and brightness looks absolutely nuclear. Also how do you feel about all the lines on the plastic printed terrain - do they annoy you or are you not bothered by them? Thank you!
Pro-acryl Jade, its a wonderful color. And no, the lines don't bother me too much especially for terrain
Link to the filament spool thing? Also ironically I printed that same statue recently for my gothic city. looks great. awesome vid.
Check the pinned comment - if you get an error let me know and I'll update it
I see it now, It's not actually pinned btw! it was closer to the bottom haha@@CCMinis
@@NerdLegionInc thanks for letting me know! Just pinned it
Gluing like 3 filliment spools into a tower would be cool. Maybe 3d print some railings and walkways/staiwells
Great vid! Those are Heroscape trees!
Those straps that hold the pipes are often called pipe straps.
I knew it was gonna be guoache! Goauche? Guac?
Ahhhh something like that - thanks Terran!
Hey I’m near Chicago!
Nice video! The trees look horrible though. The wash technique seems really useful
Hey now, those are my happy lil tree friends
Do you print any miniature armies, I would like to get into tabletop myself and was wondering about settings or upgrades you use for them?
Go resin for the armies - FDM just can't do the detail needed
Great video! New sub here! Do you have rough ratios of the colors for the water color wash you used? Guache (sp?)
Keep up the great work!
Nah not really, it's more of a mix everything that feels right and add water to taste - hard to go wrong with the stuff
Thanks! I'll give it a try!
What are those last building you printed? Would dig a link to them.
What layer height did you use? It may just be the zooming in, but those layer lines seem horrendous. Probably looks decent off camera though.
Oof getting a fat layer shift there at 0:10 lol
2 airbrush uses? Clearly we have to riot for the misinformation. Gouache is still in fact cool
Ah jeez, I'm really bad at counting
@@CCMinis it's okay, i can only count to banana
watching the poorhammer podcast i see
What about vehicHILLS?.
I've got my eye on you...
Can you please link the stl addresses

Great video, zero bullshit wasting time, subbed
Glad you liked it and welcome!
