Watching you actually paint is so helpful and inspirational Christina. I refer back to your videos often. You are a skilled educator my dear. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your sharing. It inspired me to do some abstract painting. But I do like this painting staying at 3:26. The purple tone and the texture scrubbed by paper towel is so beautiful and perfect.
It's great to see how you turned those brushstrokes and pallet knife strokes into a great landscape . I loved the explaining of the use of the colour choice /combination . Nice to watch 🍀 I think the residence and new environment can feel first daunting/intimidating but in the end a gift . Enjoy this opportunity ✊👊
That’s so beautiful. California is a lovely place and so nice to paint. I recently finished a painting of Lovers Point near San Francisco from one of my own old photographs.
Thank you! This is Ampersand Gessobord, it's a type of hardboard that is prepared with gesso so it is ready for painting. It's a bit pricey and some people find the surface too slick, but I love it.
I love your paintings because you don't replicate a certain image, and you don't overwork the details.
Thank you!

Oh I'm so glad to hear it, happy painting!
Despite not possessing an ounce of artistic ability or talent, I really enjoy these videos. Great work!
Thank you!
I've never watched a painting video with music that matched the work in progress quite like this one.

Beautiful work Christina
Than you!
I love it. So inspiring! I've seen a brayer roller used to "obliterate" the underpainting like you do with paper towels.
Thanks James! I like that idea, I could see it working well.
Nice work....
Thank you!
I love the abstract nature of this!!! Beautiful, Christina. And the frame is perfect!
Thanks Madison! :)
Nailed it. That came out really well.
Thank you!

Love this! Could I ask what surface you’re painting on, and how it was prepared? It’s taking the paint in a really nice way.

what first brush do you are using?
Have you met Scott Chamberlain?
Nice painting. However, you need to adjust the sibilant sounds in your audio which are rather ear piercing.
Thanks for the feedback!
