Honda K20C1 Engine Development and Testing.

The Honda K20C1 inline four-cylinder engine is found in the latest Civic Type R (FK8). The 2.0L, turbocharged, GDTI engine has proven to be an outstanding power unit for mid-level motorsport use such as open wheel, touring car and other forms of racing. The K20C1 in modified form is currently used in the F3 Americas Championship, F4 United States Championship, Honda Civic Type R TCR among other series.
The engine is rated at 310 PS (228 kW; 306 hp) in standard form but is the perfect foundation for higher levels of performance.
Mountune USA recognized the massive potential of the K20C1 for motorsport use early on and is currently supplying power units for several race series.
