This is by far the best "Train like" video you have. Glen Powell and his PT clearly knows their stuff. No fancy machines, no dumb movements, just a smart superset with amazing compounded exercises and a lot of tears... loved it!
I love how people jump to "must have used steroids" to try to explain away that these people are putting in 2-3 hours of intense gym work every day with extremely efficient personal trainers and gutted diets specifically tailored to put on muscle. Does that mean they don't? No. But given that these are very realistically achievable results in a few months when your JOB is putting on muscle there's no reason to jump to that conclusion.
@José David Cortes Garay 'Gimmicks' en éste contexto sería "teatralidad". Lo que él dijo fue que esto es un entrenamiento realista, nada de teatralidades.
Really great workout. I did a workout very much like this for approximately 10 years and then another workout (maintenance) for another 10. Except for a bit of weight around the middle, it has served me well. I'm 75 y.o. and get compliments on what shape I'm still in.
@Anand Laishram those guys are chubby and lazy. best way to train is the way track athletes train. out there in open air, exposed to elements, focused on movement of human body and the lifting of heavy stuff. we are mammals of endurance, not strenght.
Glen seems like such a funny, genuine, awesome person. I was absolutely blown away with how excellently he performed as Hangman. Absolute masterpiece acting skills display there. Can't wait to watch his next film around Thanksgiving time. This motivated me to get back into my workout habits haha.
He was very good in Top gun I really hated the character but he was cool at the same time that’s a big W for the actor Obviously nobody can match up to Val kilmer but he did very good
@@ironfist9414 Actually, Powell's Hangman was more representative of Maverick in the first film. Cocky and dangerous. Rooster was more like Iceman. Safe, conservative and focused on doing everything by the books
I remember first seeing him In Expendables 3; he was definitely my favorite of the new team members. I hope to see him one day headlining a big budget blockbuster
Mr. Powell, is gentleman of unique breed. In no manner should it be considered an insult. He is intelligent, respectful. As someone who worked with him on set, I wish for the public to know him, in his skin.
He is all I saw in the movie lol I know many are like ''Miles Teller this and that'' and he is great but Glen really stood out for me, funny since he auditioned for 'Rooster', he is so dedicated hope he gets more roles were he can really stand out more.
Was being beasted in the UP Mayfair gym about ten years ago by Pete K while I saw Eddie absolutely obliterate some poor “client”. Very glad to see the move to LA and the profile of the client hasn’t changed the approach 😂

So glad you enjoyed!
You know what they say: machines were only created because everything else was too hard.
Exactly. Good strong compound lifts, rather than the pump workouts

I personally, love the honesty of how much all that working out sucks. He actually looks sweaty and tired at the end too. Good job people.
Facts Lmao

That was honestly the first really solid "Men's Health" workout I've seen. Glen Powell's in great shape and trains with great form
All real and effective workouts. Unlike 99% of “Hollywood celebrity workout” videos.
Marvel heroes are all on steroids indeed
Nice to see an actor not on gear
With that “15 minute sprint” before a lifting session😂
He has a fitness coach unlike most people who cant afford it.
@@melvinlui It wont matter if the goal is not performance. Meaning a max deadlift etc.
This guy's smile is infectious.
Yes! 😃
Has a really charismatic smile yeah
Indeed he does! His smile is sweeter than sugar!
The movie is a masterpiece and Glen Powell did a great job 👏
I hope he has an even bigger career ahead of him.
Hangman role is the best in this movie after Pete Maverick
He nailed the role and this movie calls for a prequel. Rooster, Hangman, Phoenix and the rest set the stage for more movies.
He’s awesome in “Everybody Wants Some”
@@adsadjashdb Cus Maverick was the main character.. Hangman was 💯💯🔥🔥
The movie has opened doors for him for sure everyone noticed how good he was in his minor role.
This is real training! Real strength training for REAL LIFE! No gimmicks.
@José David Cortes Garay think of it like something fake. More of a show just to look good for tv
@José David Cortes Garay like a character or personality to play a character in a movie
@José David Cortes Garay 'Gimmicks' en éste contexto sería "teatralidad". Lo que él dijo fue que esto es un entrenamiento realista, nada de teatralidades.
@José David Cortes Garay its fake
The ropes are a gimmick. Pushups on rings are just an inefficient bench press. Oh, and did I mention steroids? Steroids.

@@stopstalkingyouspookybastard hahahahhaa ok
I agree. Deadlifts alone can keep you in shape.
This guy should have had a bigger part. He definitely reminded me of a young Ice.
He's just an actor who is happy to be typecast as a pilot.
He IS the young ice
Glen seems like such a funny, genuine, awesome person. I was absolutely blown away with how excellently he performed as Hangman. Absolute masterpiece acting skills display there. Can't wait to watch his next film around Thanksgiving time. This motivated me to get back into my workout habits haha.

You should watch Scream Queens he plays a funny character and delivers a great performance
Top Gun Maverick showed how a sequel should be done.
He was very good in Top gun I really hated the character but he was cool at the same time that’s a big W for the actor

How can you hate the character! He saved their life at the end of the movie. The character arc was really well written.
@@kimgallagher6254 Hate in terms of him being cocky but yeah you are absolutely right that was a good arc

I just rewatched this movie earlier today.
If The Empire Strikes Back didn’t exist, it would probably be my favorite sequel ever.
Glenn was amazing.
Also T2. But yes… Maverick is wayyyyyy up there
@@kriskater Also Captain America Winter Solider and Alians
finally a good train like video that's not absurd exercises. dumbbell presses and dealifts... they work
"The romanian terror" is doing great things with your performance as an athelete and an actor for that matter. Awesome workout!!!
He is who Scott Eastwood is supposed to be.
Everyone keeps saying this lol
I don't understand the reference of why he should be like this.
@@naughtysauce4323 maybe they are saying Scott Eastwood lazy? The 1st time I heard that reference ever

Wish granted.
Damn I can’t remember anything about that movie
🤣
I became a fan of Glen Powell after this video
Best workout I have seen so far in this series, Glenn definitely knows how to workout!!
After he opened in top gun, I think he will be next super star.
Dude is strong he can dumbell press 100's
Yeah that's serious weight
Pullups with 10kg and 120kg trap bar deadlifts 😂😂 weak af
@@wss33 It's about the looks who cares if you're strong LMAO
Even the supporting characters work that hard
I love this movie
I’m very jealous of his hair

The new top gun was fabulous!
I’m a straight male but damn this guy looked great in the movie. Goals.
“If you wanna be the best of the best, you gotta put in the work.” 💪🏾💪🏾
Great workout. Hollywood please cast more men like this.
guy puts in work, doesn't look like he juices
hopefully he gets more work!!!
Could watch this all day.
I enjoy the dynamic with his PT
You go Glen Powell amazing job! 💖
This is what a natural actually looks like folks... just gut busting work and no drugs.
I Like Powell
from JAPAN
Powell probably did the most realistic workout out of all Hollywood lmao
Hard work always pays 💪
What we really need is a “eat like Glenn Powell ate in prep for top gun” video
pretty cool. i need to get back into those trap bar deadlifts. that bar is good for shrugs too
He seems like a super cool dude.
"You wanna be the best of the best, you gotta put in the work."
How did I miss this? Glen Powell is great- he was hilarious and absolutely unhinged in Scream Queens.
Solid form. Consider keeping the beard for sure. On point!
👍 👍 👍He mentioned Stallone cause he was in Expendables 3, looks so different now... Glad to know he remembers the legend 😎👍
Some intense workouts! I need to get started on it Pronto! 😊
This routine is written down, and shall be performed regularly from now on, because this one was really good🤘🤘
He looks great! Those Top Gum bodies inspired me to start working out again.
"Dust off some abs that have been hiding from you for most of Covid and Quarantine." 😂😂so true it hurts. Best line of the video lol.
He's Good actor
I know him first on Expendables 3 movie
This is incredible!!! Doesn't even require fancy machines!!!
He was so fun in Everybody Wants Some!! too
He's good, he's very good.
Good humans, training hard and humorous!
Watching this, he would be perfect as Cyclops(Scott Summers) in the MCU X-MEN reboot.
Great workout. Did it tonight

Good stuff!
The Hangman's work out.
He surprisingly looks natural.
Pretty sure he is natural
Nothing but Hard Work. Gotta respect that!
The new top gun is a must watch!!
Nice training plus Glen Powell is handsome
After last time seeing him in Expendables 3, god damn, he's so ripped
Dude, I wish I have a body like that.
Hella genuine and motivating 💯 Ty for this vid
Ultimate Performance the best 😎
This guy's a real deal. He's the only actor who's getting pilot license too like Tom.
Great video! Inspiring for this 60 year ol! lol...Time to hit the gym...(after coffee)
A LEGIT strength training program. In order to get bigger.. you HAVE to add weight or reps. Not just aimlessly going for a pump
Waiit what my dude straight up giving power lifters in my gym a run for their money.
this is actually a legit workout I'm surprised. Compound moves ans some cardio intensity through functional moves. I'm impressed hollywood
Thank you for this video my god.
This is the guy near the desk that Bane knocked out in the stock exchange in Dark Knight Rises. Glad he is becoming more prominent.
This guy would make a great Green Arrow
He looks like a young Bruce Willis.
Respect. I had never heard of this guy before the movie but he performed well and I’d look forward to seeing him in future movies.
I enjoyed this a lot.. thank you!
He didn't get in shape for Top Gun... he was already in shape. Hey ! That's Chad Radwell from "Dickie Dollar Club".
Damn it is already 6 years since the latest season of Scream Queens
I always end up doing 3 sets as well between 6-10 reps but obviously not lifting as heavy. Maybe 3 sets is the magic number
6-10 reps is a heavy rep range. There is no magic number.
Is that Tyler from twisters
Of all the top guns in the latest movie, Hangman is the most jacked!
What was his diet?
This is giving me such Stephen Amell "Arrow" training flashbacks. 💪
Hes in great shape
The perfect actor for green lantern/hal jordan!!!
Loved his " Iceman" hair in the movie
He is my bias!
