I knew I wouldn’t be able to get over the ick factor of insertion and removal of the cup so as an alternative I have switched to the period underwear. It has saved me hundreds already and it’s been only about 6 months.
That’s wonderful to hear period proof underwear has already saved you hundreds! So good to hear 😊 I also love period proof undies (and I just wish they had them accessible when I was younger/a teenager - they’re amazing!) ❤️
YES! Great ideas, some I’ve used for decades 😊 and I’m excited to learn about the press coffee/tea mug. Jess, you look so beautiful with your hair back a little. Love your earrings too!❤❤❤❤
So glad you liked our ideas and have even used some for decades yourself 🥰 Wonderful!😊 Thanks for the compliments about my hair and earrings 🥰 You made me smile!
I definitely have and wish we had the option of swapping it out for an electric one! ❤️ I make sure to always keep a window open and use the exhaust fan but yes I’d love to switch it out for an electric one for sure :) One day hopefully 🤞 Until then we’re making the best of what we have but yes totally agree electric is far better in our opinion ❤️
@@minimalistsmanaged I’m afraid gas ranges give off pollutants even when not cooking. You could use a single or double electric hot plate or an induction plate and turn off the gas.
I would be interested in knowing a comparison with using a gas stove and living in a city and breathing car exhaust. Do you know if there has been a study on that? We have a gas stove and switched because we have lost power in the past during the winter months, once for over a week so we got a gas stove.
@@SpeakTruthBeKind “Cooking on your gas stove can emit more nano-sized particles into the air than vehicles that run on gas or diesel, possibly increasing your risk of developing asthma or other respiratory illnesses, a new study has found.” This is the information I found from some study, but I don’t know who did study to know how credible it is.
It’s a strange thing to assume I’m not proud to be a woman. I certainly am proud to be a woman 🩷 I’m also proud of being kind and considerate and understanding that not all women menstruate and not all who menstruate are women. My mother, for example, hit menopause and no longer gets her period so she certainly doesn’t have any need for a period cup. Not getting her period doesn’t make her any less of a woman. A woman’s worth or value as a woman is not dependent on if they menstruate or not. To say ‘those who menstruate’ is inclusive and specific language for those who actually do get periods.

Thanks! We’re glad you like them! 😊
@@minimalistsmanaged I'm ordering the glass cutting board today!
A wonderful swap! 😊
Have you considered the health risks of using a gas range? They have been shown to give off pollutants 24/7.

"Those who menstruate"... I remember when we were proud to be women.
