The most recent book, a collaboration between you and five other knitting designers (Kari Hestner, Iselin Hafseld, Birger Berge, Linda Marverg, and Bente Presterud), published in 2021, is a marvelous book. My favorite book has always been Knitted Dolls.

My sock (which I’ll post when finished) is Norwegian Cloud Dancer, Frost Pink and a skein of lovely gold metallic. I’m using the pink in place of your green and the gold in place of your red. It’s for a dear friend who no longer puts up,a tree…. Hope she loves it! Enjoy the day!
Thank you for the lovely pattern. I so enjoy tuning in to your chat and then knitting my 6 rows. Perhaps this is too personal to ask, but so often Arne speaks of his grandmother and mother, how they taught him to knit, and now we see Grandmother's beautiful door. I would love to see a photo of these two wonderful women from Arne's life. I think part of my interest in them is that I too grew up on a dairy farm, but in Wisconsin, US. Farm women are very strong, and in Arne's case, amazing knitters. You should be very proud of your 10 books.

The thrift shop and recycling sounds like a wonderful idea, Arne. I heard of a group of people in the US who finish people who passed away unfinished projects and gives their loved ones the completed projects as a memory. A & C published 10 beautiful books. Thank you again for guiding us through your stocking and providing "tips" as it's most needed for all of us! Where is my yarn? It's in Las Vegas now.

There is also a BBC programme called "Money for Nothing" which shows presenter taking things that people are bringing to the recycling centre and then repairing or upcycling it. The profit is given to the original owner. I don't knit but I do like watching you both - you are funny, kind and generous souls.
I don't tune in exactly at the premiere time to see the reveal before the chart drops. Instead I enjoy knitting the day's rounds while watching the mini-podcast. Such a great way to start my morning 😊

As I use a DK yarn this sock is getting biiiiig! I think I will use it for my heating pad ! Warm, soft and cozy! Better than presents 🎁
