- Hey guys so recently all my games would free in my ps3 when I wanted to play them so I did some research and figured out how to fix them!
First put your ps3 in the upright position. Insert the disk and move the playstation back into its regular position. I dont know why this works, but I think it has something to do with the blueray.

To those who have this problem.
You have to use other game discs, after using the other disc put the freezing game disc back in.

put toothpaste over the disk, spread it around, wash it off with warm water and then dry it, put it in and it shoukd work, sounds stupid but it does work. it fills in the scratches
magic sors did that 5 times and even left it for 12 hours

I have a game that freezes at a certain point. Its just one game and it looks brand new and my ps3 is played maybe once a week.

Same motorstorm
Same bl2
Same for skate 3 and the bigs 2
Same for lego marvel super heroes
So the reason behind this is because the disk drive isn’t pulling the disk in enough for the laser to read the disk data but it’s pulled in just enough to know what game it is but the laser isn’t in sync with the disk holding the PlayStation up like that causes the disk to fall in place also quick note this will NOT work if you have the ps3 with the cover that opens and closes where you push the disk in yourself on the top and I have yet to find a fix where you don’t have to open the system because you have to re align the laser which a normal person couldn’t do so my opinion is take it to a repair place if there are still any around today

I load up bo2 when it goes on the opening cinematic I can't skip it and when it finishes the opening cinematic my game freezes

Hey so I have Gta 5 for PS3 and so the game plays perfectly fine but whenever I do a heist or mission I can do the mission and then after it when it give u your jp and money and stuff it freezes my PS3 and if I shut it off and turn it on it still saves it like I still complete it or if I fail a mission it sucks it still freezes but I can play online for hours and it perfect only when I do that tho so someone help

i can’t play GTA 5 because of freezing!!
Me too. I can play for a little while, then the sound disappears (the only sound heard is when I crash, and when a car's horn is tooted). Then the game freezes, and it won't save either. It freezes on other games to, but with different degrees of control. On other games, I can pan the screen round 360 degrees, but the characters don't do anything I want them to do. Baaaaah! Grrrrrr! Very frustrating.
