Also you have to consider the fact that he's use to glock triggers which are horrible. Most people don't shoot glocks or striker fired sigs very well because of the mushy triggers. For an example I'm accurate with my m&p shield because it has a regular trigger break but I could barely shoot my sig p365 because it's trigger didn't break the moment you pressed against the wall. With a sig or glock you have creep after the wall before the trigger actually breaks which throws your shots off. It takes a ton of training and practice to shoot a glock accurately. The glocks and sigs are accurate but they take more time to master. That's part of the reason he can shoot this hellcat accurately. The hellcat doesn't have a very good trigger but he's use to dealing with that issue.
This is exactly why I hate when people say "you shouldn't practice long distance with short barreled handguns, that's not what they're meant for" wrong - you should practice at all distances not just 7-10 yards
You are correct. I was trying to reply and remind everyone of the incident that took place at the Greenwoodd Mall in Indianaa but of course the YT💩 overlords intervened. Pretty pathetic when you have to analyze every damn word you say, maybe it's time to switch over to rumble full time!!
@@yukonjack. I am with you on that - these big tech monopolies are clearly not a fan of our 1st amendment rights (or 2nd amendment). They censor damn near everything. I really hope Rumble and other platforms start to catch on. I'm going to get in the habit of looking at videos there instead of YT.
According to HK, the effective distance of the MARK23, one of the biggest semi you can buy is about 50 yards. 9mm out of a 3 or 4inch should be way lower. So yeah, it's cool hitting plate, but ballistic matter and at those distance, you won't get much and the risk of hitting something you shouldn't is very high.
I pay for the range. Ima use the whole range!! No but seriously. Train better than your local law enforcement. They train to 75ft with pistols. So why shouldn’t you?
Shooting was exceptional, but the 100%, start to finish, discipline of where you had those muzzles pointed was what I noticed! Even without a mag. Great job!
Correct! After carrying (almost literally and I own all of these guns) and teaching with a LOT of pistols, I settled on a 365XL with a Wilson combat weighted grip module and 507K2 dot. Bought the gun to shoot the Sig EDC Championship. Made 2 shots at 75 off hand. What a great little pistol. I have run thousands of rounds through it with ZERO malfunctions. ANY of these are CHOICE options for accuracy and reliability.
Been carrying a G19 for years. I get warm fuzzies knowing my carry gun is a pistol I would go to war with. That said, buy the firearm you like and train to shoot it what ever it is.
I’ve carried a G19 for over a decade. Have attended a few classes with it recently and noticed most people actually seemed to have P365 variants. It inspired me to try and improve my skills with my P365. Still I feel like my “go to war” pistol is the G19.
I've been carrying a G19 of one generation or the next since 1988. Many younger guys seem to hate on them these days, but at this point, my hands have permanently conformed to the design, so it's too late for me to switch to anything else now.
I'm a big "don't judge a book by it's cover" guy, but if you just saw Chadd at a gas station somewhere in West Virginia, you'd just think he was some good ole country boy and you'd pay him no mind. The fact that this guy is a top 1% legit fucking killer is just great. You never know who knows what and/or what kind of experience they have. Love this channel.
I am a combat vet { 68-70 Americal I corp 11b & 13b so i do know somewhat more than the average keyboard warrior. Lifers or military career guys are usually not what anyone would consider to be patriotic, constitution loving, citizens. No matter what country we're talking about there are always the guys who "just follow orders" without any thought or care as to whether those orders are legal and moral or not. Our country has hung immoral soldiers for "just following orders". Stupid, immoral men who would be terrible mentors or examples to our youth often do wind up being lifers or career soldiers. Don't get me wrong, I know nothing about the guy who made this video; i just noticed in the comments that many kids admire him simply because of his chosen trade or craft. I hope he is all that the kids imagine him to be. There is a huge difference between the best and the " always follows orders " clowns. The military serves as a rescue shelter for those dim witted guys. Another thing; CZ products are better !
Hi Chad. I live in Ontario Canada and I have never shot a gun in my 55 years, but oh boy, you certainly know how to shoot a pistol. Wow!😮 What a demonstration of how accurate the pistol is and how accurate you're shooting. Fantastic job!

Wholly crap. Only a Navy Seal can shoot like that. I’m a retired LEO and I thought I was good. Not that good! You should be teaching some classes. Very nice! I wish you were my neighbor.
I have that same exact setup, except with a 407K. My favorite carry pistol by far. I recently added a tlr7 sub and it still conceals effortlessly, while shooting like a full size handgun.
@@humbaba_7730 Mixing up guys who have been doing this less than 15 years total who just so happen to own some rural property that has a private range on it. He doesn't have a real job so he can afford to shoot everyday all day long on it. Chadd was a U.S. Navy SEAL.....not a neckbeard tattooed Millennial reject.
I can guarantee you this man has incredible vision and can read a newspaper @ 20 yards. Thank god we can now buy optic ready firearms. As an instructor I’ll tell you it’s the man not the tool that’s impressive.
I was a lowly Army 11B when the 1911 was answer. Full props to Chadd for his service and experience - full stop. Opinions ... are that. Opinions. I understand that they make good fodder for TH-cam content. Sure, I have a P226 and well over a dozen other Sigs. I have not gone to war with them but I have tested them within my limited means and would and do carry any of them. My goto carry is a P210. Opinions are good. Options are better. Thanks, Chadd.
After spending the last few months researching these compact 9’s, this video was the determining factor for my purchase of two of these for my wife and myself. Took my wife’s friend along and she brought one as well. Being an old fart that full grip really matters. Don’t have the grip I once had and you are absolutely correct about the slide. Appreciate your past and continuing service. Godspeed sir.
When a man is familiar with his weapons he is not one to be messed with. When you know your weapon to the extent that its like apart of you arm and can place a shot knowing exactly where it is capable of hitting and being capable of judging distance.. this is expert level competency.
I often carry and shoot both the Sig P365 with 12 round magazine and a Glock 43X with the after-market 15 round shield magazine which so far is flawless. I shoot more than most people do as a Range Safety Officer, Instructor and retired LEO. i HAVE no problems at all with also using and carrying a five shot revolver often when I exercise or dog walk. Also i always carry OC spray.
I wonder if the people who are having issues with the Shield Arms mags have changed their magazine catch. You're definitely going to have problems with metal mags and a plastic mag catch. I haven't had any issues with mine, but I admit, I don't get enough range time. Times are getting tough and the range membership went up.
Chad’s muzzle control is AWESOME. Notice when showing the difference in the pistols on the tailgate of the Landcruiser he is so careful to never flag the cameraman.
I conceal carry my Hellcat . I too love the sights ,accuracy and weight. Fits great in my hand and in my purse. Been carrying that for about 3ish years now. Was carrying my Springfield 9mm 1911 Ultra compact. Huge weight difference. Definitely A Springfield fan here. ❤ Thank you for all the videos and the time and effort put into them. Thank you for your service 🇺🇲👏
I shot a friend's hellcat and was so impressed with the accuracy I immediately bought one. It is the first out of the box 9mm pistol that impressed me enough to buy one in twenty years. Then I saw the 10,000 and 20,000 round durability tests done on them.
I stumbled across this channel, and what love the most of it is the plain, simple and honest review of the guns. Also love the "no BS" mentality. Keep up the great work.
Here's a fantastic podcast to add to your TH-cam enjoyment the guy with the long beard is one of the most badass Navy seals there ever was with five deployments but there's a lot more to his podcast then just guns
Chadd protected POTUS overseas...drives a 80's Yoda...can outrun a Hyundai...and blends in like a chameleon. It is the gray man that offers wisdom while the extroverts offer opinion.
The trigger is super important to me. For a plastic (polymer is a type of plastic) striker-fired blaster, The Hellcat Pro is second to none. I picked up one a month ago after seeing this video (thanks Chad). Love mine!
agreed, looking at picking one up. 1911 guy here and plastic is plastic i agree with you on that, dont care if anyone calls it polymer its still a plastic gun.
Can't tell if he's using the Hellcat Pro micro-compact with the 3" barrel, or the Hellcat Pro with the 3.7" barrel? I believe it's the 3.7". Can you verify? Appreciate the help.
@@steveo3494 Just saw your comment. Sorry. Length between the chamber and the muzzle on my Pro is 3.5.” Perhaps the 3.7” barrel option is threaded, protruding beyond the slide, for a compensator? If yes, I personally don’t think it needs it as the felt recoil is very manageable for me. Also, since this is my EDC, I want to keep it as small and light as possible. Hope this is helpful.
I have been carrying a Hellcat 1st Gen for awhile. Very concealable especially appendix, and I love the iron sights like Chad references. Been 100% reliable and the price was nice too.
The 5.7 is fast but it's a 40 grain projectile, that doesn't impress me, a 9mm 115 grain is nearly 3 times that weight and a 230 grain .45 cal. Is close to 6 times the weight. So while your throwing marbles I'm throwing bowling balls.
@@tubeonline629 Yeah, and the bowling balls are running out after 8 or 9 trigger pulls. Meanwhile the 5.7 is peppering the target 20 times per mag and making lots of holes and potentially hitting more targets at higher speeds with more kinetic energy.
@@tubeonline629The 5.7 offers a round that can defeat body armor due to its velocity. You're not doing that with 9mm or .45, no matter the grain. Add on the 20rd capacity, and the fact that it shoots about as flat as you could hope for, and you have a very capable self defense weapon. Not saying its for everybody, but its worth looking into.
I tried the HC Pro and I was sold too. Now 17 round mags are available as well. Conceals well, very accurate and super reliable. And that is some damned nice shooting. Bravo.
Great Video. I started with 43X myself, Then went to Glock G48 . Then to the HellCat Pro for the same reasons...More Bullets and I love that :"U" Rear Sight. You are a very good shot to hit that at 80 YARDS
Another great video, man! I bout spit out my coffee when you said, “you guys that shoot Sig never shoot anyways.” I fully agree with everything you said about the Pro as well as the 43x. 15 reliable rounds Va 10 reliable rounds? Contest over. Your demonstration of pistol accuracy (most of us can’t outperform the pistol) was just a huge bonus.
right 15 is always moar better than 10. that's ALL that matters. back country guides in alaska carry fucking 5 round revolvers to deal with gigantic bears, you jackasses
I carried a 1911 on duty but wanted a smaller lighter pistol as a civilian. Lightweight revolvers for years then my eyes got weaker so wanted more rounds. Now I carry the hellcat pro with a slide safety. (old 1911 Guy) It shoots very well for me. And I always pack one or two. You never know.
I have all of the stuff you are supposed to have - Sig, HK, Glock, but I always go back to Smith & Wesson M&P.. They are the easiest guns to shoot well bar none. Grips are fantastic, very low bore axis, interchangeable mags (double stack). Shield Plus with a 15rd magazine is my go to. Very concealable, stippled frame and grip and shoots like a full size pistol. Their new metal series is magnificent. (note: I do not work for S&W.....hahaha)
For the very sized guns, their Shield Plus comes with a 13, will take the same 15 as the Equalizer, and by far have the best trigger of all these small guns. If you haven’t tried one, a Shield Plus, they have S&W’s newer flat face trigger, it’s a little better trigger than the Hellcat / 365 (anything). It’s also the cheapest of all those guns, can be had no optics $400 or optics cut $450, so even with a few 15rd mags on top, you’ve got a slightly cheaper package for what you’re getting, and it’s very much a quality gun. Big advantage to the 365 X Macro is the ability to take a duty light, albeit a small one. I’ve owned and shot all these little guns, and they’re all very nice, hard to go wrong with any, and I do envy the higher capacity and front underside rail on the 365 X Macro - I just wasn’t down to spend another $750 for those extra rounds haha. Just something to think about !
I bought a full size gen 1 M&P on a whim and instantly fell in love with it. Accuracy was effortless. I have my own personal guarantee with my friends - if you buy an M&P 2.0 and don’t love it, I will buy it. No takers yet
Same man I picked up a Shield EZ on a whim and with that pistol I can accurately hit targets way further out than with my USP or my Sig. It's just such an ergonomic comfortable gun. Unbeatable for the price and performance!!!
My primary carry is a XDM-Elite 9mm 3.8. Took the magwell off and added a pierce pinky grip to the small mag, makes it a true four finger grip but still small enough for concealed carry. Works well larger mags and a sleeve.
It's nice to see a review of a Springfield Armory platform without the usual hate heaped on against Springfield. Most modern produced pistols (SA, Sig, SW, Glock) work well. What is typically missing is sufficient practice and building muscle memory. Buying a new pistol and never practicing with it sufficiently and routinely is a sure way to come up on the short end of a gunfight.
Great video. EDC: G43 with CT green LaserGuard and two spare factory mags stoked with Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel 124 gr 9mm+P. In my 70’s and aging hips cannot handle high capacity micro 9 pistols. Extra mags on left hip balance out. So I have 19 total rounds available and practice mag changes. BTW, trigger is smoother than a Hellcat I dry fired at my dealer.
Nice shooting. Right now my main carry is a SW 442 snobby revolver. It’s my first gun ever, and is mostly for up close urban encounters. I’m good at up to ten yards. But now I would like to get some kind of semiautomatic. Keeping an open mind on what that would be. Thank you for sharing your journey and information. Blessings and shalom from Texas. Jesus is Lord.
I was impressed by your accuracy capabilities at those distances. I have always concealed carry a Glock 19 that I've had since 1992. I love that pistol. About 2 years ago I came upon the hellcat OSP. It was love at first sight. This is my everyday carry now. I love how I can get a better grip on it and bring down to target immediately after the shot. I am also accurate with it. I need to test distance though to see if I'm as good as you. I enjoyed your video as I have your others. Thanks for putting out great content.
I have been carrying the Glock 19 for years. Just recently purchased the Hellcat Pro. I agree with Chad, best sights on a factory pistol. Only have 100 rounds through the Hellcat Pro. This will definitely be a carry option once i am more comfortable with shot placement. Enjoy you no nonsense videos honest opinion ftom a professional firearms shooter. Thank you for your service.
Impressive shooting! Ive been carrying the 43X MOS with Shield mags for awhile. 1000's of rds, zero mag issues. I also own the original Hellcat and love it, but am more comfortable with the 43X.
I converted to the Sig macro X. I’m still breaking it in before I carry it, but so far it’s surpasses my expectations and blown my other carry weapons out of the water when it comes to accuracy, capacity and reliability.
@@dougfa3515I've got HC Pro, 2 Macros and got the AXG a few weeks ago. Best EDC by far is flat shooting AXG P365. Metal make a big difference in muzzle rise, ability to keep dot in the window, rapid fire. EPS Carry, closed emitter drops right on, no plate needed, great pairing. With HC Pro, you need a plate, but it comes in the box with EPS optic.
Thank you for your service brother. I was a combat Infantryman in the US Army. I like the Glock 26 for concealed carry. Glock reliability & the standard magazine holds 10 9mm rounds. But for me the game changer is being able to have on my belt a USGI magazine pouch holding 2 extra Glock 17 (17 round) factory magazines that fit this gun perfectly. Unless I'm in a bad neighborhood I carry Israeli style but that still gives me 44 9mm hollow point rounds in a very small package.
Literally the hellcat is smaller and slimmer w the same amount of rounds and has the ability to run drums and 33 sticks plus the sights are way better definitely gets picked over my g19 and g27
I hate the way my 26 feels in my hand a little bulky , and shooting with 2 fingers but accuracy wise I shoot it way better than any of my other glocks it doesn't make since too me but it definitely works.
Shield arms 15 round G43x mags work flawlessly. We have tested them since they came out several years ago…maybe even as long as 5 years ago. Zero issues with over 30 magazines
Amuses me how the walk back drill you did is something that i did as an athlete to help my aim for shooting a basketball more accurately to reinforce muscle memory. thanks for this video.
I got all those guns in your line up and I have been using the Shield arms mags from the day they came out for my 43X. I have thousands of rounds through my Shield Arms mags and never an issue. I had OEM mags from Glock, SIg, HK, FN that I've had to send back and be exchanged. Now I swapped my stock 43X lower/frame for the PSA MIcro frame with PSA Micro mags and its flawless and even a better upgrade then the original 43X frame.
I shot glock since I could pick up a pistol. Looking into my first carry gun 2 yrs ago, shooting maybe 20-30 different guns, manufactures, calibers, you name it. I went with a sig due to the trigger and metal mags. Glock mags were cheaper but are every as bit of drop a mag more than 5 times and break it.
@@HSKFabrications accuracy, thinner, lighter, flatter shooting pistol, absolutely nothing wrong a G19 but technology starting to out pace the old design of glocks, the glock 26 was and is a work horse but it's now falling behind
Great pistol. Great shooting. My favorite concealed carry in that class are the *Sig Sauer P365 XMacro TACOPS 3.7" (17+1) and the Canik TP9 Elite SC 3.6" (15+1).* With that said, I like the *SA Hellcat.*
Thanks Chad! Trust your God fearing talks. I am from the Geneseo Illinois area where Springfield armory is so I automatically decided I should buy local. I really like the hellcat also and to hear that you do too for good reasons is good to hear. God bless you and America until we leave.
M&P shield plus is my carry. I have the original P365, and it's good, and the original Glock 43 and it's also good. I just like the sights and the feel of the M&P. I'd like to try the Hellcat Pro. I always wanted to check it out. That 80 yard shot was impressive. 🏆
@@RanTausiur absolutely nuts no offense guns are subjective always but the hellcat is just downright better out the box let alone modded and the package deals are amazing
What's Chilly doing out of the dungeon? Get him back down there, he needs to keep working so he doesnt get into trouble. Besides, you need the money so you can buy a new Sig, lol. 😆
I recently bought an Echelon and love it!!!! Dont care what anyone thinks about Springfield. Is what it is. I've owned all the popular poly pistols in the last 10 years. They all work. Take your pick.
I've carried the 43X for over a year now. I've put thousands of rounds through it with 15-round Shield Arms mags and never experienced a single malfunction. I don't know what people are talking about with issues with those mags....they have been flawless for me and others I know.
@@MrSPHANDLE right! That’s what I was thinking too. The Shield instructions are crystal clear on needing to do that. I haven’t had a single failure in thousands of rounds with this setup.
I went to my local gun store and they had the Hellcat pro OSP for $535 OTD. Of course, I held it and thought I might just like it. So, I bought it. I immediately went online and filled out my gear up rebate for free stuff: range bag, 2- 15 rd mags and 1 -17 rd mag. They shipped my stuff out the next day and I received within a week. Took it to the range and it performed amazing. Shot about 150 rds through it. Next range session is this week. If it continues to perform perfectly then I might replace my EDC. My 43x is a little jealous right now. Thanks for the recommendation.
I have both the original Hellcat AND the Sig p365. For me...with winchester 127 grain jhp bullets.. The p 365 is more accurate and has noticeably less recoil. However..I am comfortable carrying either one. Nice article. I like the no BS style.
Best ccw out right now, people get to caught up in gucci looks vs reliability and comfort, this pistol has it all, that double polished feed ramp will eat EVERYTHING on the market, and echelon has proved so far its exceptional also, hopefully springields next version of prodigy knocks it out of the park so we can have a reliable affordable 2011
Love my Hellcat Pro. You can also take the bottom mag plate (extender) off of the regular Hellcat 13 round magazine and put it on the 15 round Hellcat pro magazine and have a 17+1 magazine. There's also a company that makes a 4 round magazine extension that makes your magazines a 19+1.
Ha…, true. I’ve had three SIG P365’s (tried my best to give it a chance) and one SIG P938. EVERY one had to go back to SIG for malfunctions. Never again, the only dependable SIG was an 80’s version P226. Never had issues with Springfields, but I currently carry Glocks. I can repair and maintain my Glocks myself (best scenario should the SHTF). Carry on brother. 👍
I appreciate your experience but the vast majority of people have had the opposite experience. Sigs are great guns and normally have less problems than the Hellcats.
Hickok forty what? Damn , dude. New sheriff on TH-cam. When I bought my first gun I was highly suggested to get the S&W Sheild. A room full of customers agreed. I like it. I bought a Ruger 9E for the high capacity magazine to shoot at the gun range, the Sheild performs more reliably. Great video.
Chad, couldn’t agree more. After months of research for a new CC. I got the hellcat and I’ve Been in 3 situations that it has saved my life. After a while of carry its second nature well balanced and sights are deadly and most importantly the sites are right there every time without barely even looking . If you don’t have one I strongly suggested trying one out , you won’t regret it. Not fancy , but you can bet your life on its reliability.
Thanks to a recent "American Rifleman" magazine article, I am seriously looking at the Springfield Hellcat Pro. I also like the Springfield Echelon with its modular trigger group. Love the Springfield products and have thousands of rounds of experience with them. The XDS just doesn't have the capacity of the Hellcat - only half.
My wife and I recently bought a PSA Dagger each. We’ve got near 1000 rounds each through them and are impressed. And the fact they’re made here in my home state of SC and are affordable is exciting for me. I mean how many times have we heard why a company chooses to make a product outside of America. But, I do own many Springfield pistols and love them too.
I really love Springfield pistols. They are well made and very accurate. Being an old wheel gun shooter, I could just never get used to the striker fire design where the gun is cocked all the time while carried. I know there are redundant safties, but I never felt comfortable carrying one especially concealed, I went back to the old school Double Action / Single Action hammer fired design for peace of mind. I still have the Springfield XDE for that reason. It's a great shooter, and it's only drawback is the 9 round capacity
I had a laundry list of Compact pistols (Glock 43x, CZ P-10c, Glock 19, Hellcat, and Hellcat PRO) on my list when I went to gun store. Never would have considered the Hellcat PRO if it weren't for you review Chadd. So glad I watched this review because I was 95% certain I was getting a Glock 43x but after handling the Hellcat PRO.....it is all that you said it was and fit me like a glove!
I wish I owned a gun. I’m impressed by your accuracy and even more impressed at your gun safety maneuvers. It’s second nature to you as it should be to any gun owner.
If your reason for not owning a gun is money, don't let that stop you. There are a bunch of affordable options that DONT suck. Canik comes to mind first. Also look for layaway at your gun store preferences. Even if you have to get a Hi Point, better than nothing at all. Every law abiding citizen should have protection. Good luck!
@@bmusicjr101 nice! Also love my caniks. Have been carrying the Canik SC with holosun 407 k for 1 1/2 . My other carry WAS Glock 43x and now it just sits and gets dusty.
Josh, if you’re of age to purchase a firearm on your own, and you don’t have any (legal) “obstacles” preventing you from doing so, May I ask you Why you don’t own a gun?? You should know that the USA is the Only country on the planet where, as a law-abiding citizen, you have a legal “right” to purchase, own, carry, and use a firearm; whether for self-defense, sport, recreation, hunting, or competition. If you don’t exercise your rights, you won’t notice when attempts are made to take them from you.
I can attest to how impressive this shooting is from Chad - after every service rifle competition we used to have back in the day, we would shoot off for the lunch/dinner bill at 100 yards with handguns. I used a Kimber Super Match 1911 back then. Hitting at long range, 80 to 100 yards, takes practice and concentration. Seeing it done with a sub compact CCW handgun with a factory striker fired trigger - props, especially on camera with no warmup. Chad - how has the reliability been with the Springfields? Circa the mid 2000s when I was training handgun shooters, the range I was at in Canada went through 1 million rounds of handgun (mostly 9mm) rounds every quarter (yes, that's 3 months). They had rental guns from every company, and Springfields back then weren't that reliable, few made it to a 20,000 round service life that most companies give their factory striker fired handguns. Has that improved in your experience?
I liked the Hellcat but I replaced mine with the P365X Macro. 17+1, comped slide, nice slim profile and very flat shooting gun. Btw, you’re a hell of a shot!
I have both....not sure why I spent almost 300 dollars more for the same pistol. The comp hardly makes a difference and I have a 17 round magnfor my hellcat pro. Honestly they are the same and I like the sights on the hellcat way better. I came from the 365 to the hellcat and grabbed a macro for fun. Still prefer the springfield
@@Idkwhatmynameis998I have both as well and the HC Pro. Comp vs non comp has little difference until you add a dot and rapid fire. Dot stays in the window better with comp and lowers split times. I've since added the AXG Legion and its FAR flatter shooting than all 3. One advantage of the Sigs if you add RMS optics is, no plate needed. HC is 4 lug design so to need either a plate or to modify the gun. I milled off 2 lugs and slightly reduced the other two so I could get the optic seated lower for co-wittness with stock irons. EPS Carry is the best optic out there for RMS footprint. It's the only closed emitter option and sits very low.
you guys are GREAT! I just got this Hellcat Pro and I am in love. I upgraded the slide release, mag release and take down lever with the Apex Kit in chrome... SEXY
Just picked up my MC9 Mete from Canik. Comes with a 12, and a 15.. There is also a 17 too. I can carry a 20rd from a TP9 as a backup. It's thinner with the same size grip as the TP9SC. They share mags. It is thinner. For the record my brother is Florida Highway patrol. He uses the 15rd steel mags in his 43X back up pistol. They work great. He trains with that pistol a bunch. His duty weapon is the G45.
I have the first hellcat and absolutely love it.... went to the store intending to buy a 43x to add to the collection and came out with the hellcat pro with 5 mags, optics already mounted, and a nice range case for under 600... my new favorite pistol
Continue to carry my G26, gen4. Love the short grip for less printing as well as reliability and capacity. A M&P 40 full size is also carried alot. I shoot 40s well and 15+1 of 180 grain 40s is no joke. Love the ergos and again reliability.
My EDC is a MOS Glock 48 with Holosun red dot currently and previously the 43x with aftermarket sights because your right Glock sights suck. I’ve actually ran the metal after market shield mags out of them to give me the 15 round double stack. After probably 1000 rounds out of the 43x I’ve had no issues. I do however cycle my mags regularly just to make sure I don’t have magazine spring issues. Also just to mention I did change out my mag stop / release button to the metal so the plastic factory one would not get chewed up. Hope this is helpful to some. Love your material man!!
Aye a friend of mine bought the small hellcat and it actually shoots 2 inches to the right no bs on its own. we did some science to it . The hellcat pro is perfect 👍❤️🇺🇸
The main thing I got from this video is, I wouldn't want you shooting at me. Thank you for your service and God bless you and your family.
😂
Let’s all admit that Chads abilities were a major factor in the accuracy of that pistol…no take away from the pistol…just props to Chad
Yeah it takes years of practice to be that accurate with a micro pistol. Most people can't even shoot accurate at 15-20 yard's with a micro pistol.
Chad is an absolute unit! 👏🏼
That gun would be too accurate for me. I'm not hitting anything past 30 with a tiny gun like that. I need some luck.
that's Chadd with two d's, son!!
Holy crap…80 paces with any pistol is friggin amazing! Good on ya brother; that was a sight to behold.
Great job!
Perfect safety precautions.
glad you girls from the ATF joined the channel
The majority of handguns produced today are more accurate than "most" (edited in) people that purchase them can shoot. That includes me.
Agreed!
And took that personally.
Speak for yourself 😂👈
It’s the person period
Been carrying a G19 for years. I get warm fuzzies knowing my carry gun is a pistol I would go to war with. That said, buy the firearm you like and train to shoot it what ever it is.
I feel the same. I’ve been appendix carrying a Glock 17 for the past half decade. I’ll never go back to a smaller gun.
I’ve carried a G19 for over a decade. Have attended a few classes with it recently and noticed most people actually seemed to have P365 variants.
It inspired me to try and improve my skills with my P365. Still I feel like my “go to war” pistol is the G19.
Glock23 for me....9mm is for weenies
I've been carrying a G19 of one generation or the next since 1988. Many younger guys seem to hate on them these days, but at this point, my hands have permanently conformed to the design, so it's too late for me to switch to anything else now.
I like hammer fired guns. I carry the CZ P-09 everyday. And with a TLR1-HD installed. It’s big but man it shoots. 19+1 with standard capacity mags.

You should move to the USA and get away from that woke commie place.

I love my Xl so much I got 2 , traded my hellcat in for one. I hated how the hell cat shot.
P365XL all the way.
Love the 365 X Macro with EPS dot on it!

Now, is any newspaper worth reading at any distance?
I was a lowly Army 11B when the 1911 was answer. Full props to Chadd for his service and experience - full stop. Opinions ... are that. Opinions. I understand that they make good fodder for TH-cam content. Sure, I have a P226 and well over a dozen other Sigs. I have not gone to war with them but I have tested them within my limited means and would and do carry any of them. My goto carry is a P210. Opinions are good. Options are better.
Thanks, Chadd.
Absolutely Love your No BS, Straight Forward approach to everything.
80 yards with a pistol is top notch....
Hi, my 43x with the shield arms gen 1 already jammed 3 times. After buying the gen 2 I haven’t had any jams . Great pistol.
Was reading you need to buy and install the steel mag catch from shield arms as well and that should fix any mag issues.
Light Duty King
Luv the Sig P365. Now I gota look into this Hellcat Pro
Your assessment is correct, the two best selling points for the hellcat are reliability and the exceptional sights.
This is the best example of time vs distance. I would absolutely use this vid when teaching elements of marksmanship. Well done!
My favorite is the Sig P365 spectre comp with 15 round mags.
Chad’s muzzle control is AWESOME. Notice when showing the difference in the pistols on the tailgate of the Landcruiser he is so careful to never flag the cameraman.
I noticed immediately. I’m the same way when it comes to muzzle direction. 👍👍👍
I immediately noticed his self awareness and safety. Love it.
Thank you for all the videos and the time and effort put into them. Thank you for your service 🇺🇲👏
Love their 1911's they just came out with a new trp that I really want
I shot a friend's hellcat and was so impressed with the accuracy I immediately bought one.
It is the first out of the box 9mm pistol that impressed me enough to buy one in twenty years.
Then I saw the 10,000 and 20,000 round durability tests done on them.
I stumbled across this channel, and what love the most of it is the plain, simple and honest review of the guns. Also love the "no BS" mentality. Keep up the great work.

He blends in like a douche bag who can't shut up about his military time
I don't have a ton of experience, but my carry option is the IWI Masada Slim. Been thrilled with it so far
The hellcats reliability and the fantastic irons as well as the capacity is a no brainer. Now you can put the rdp comp on there if needed.
I switch between the g26 and the g19. I just picked up a g43 for carrying on the motorcycle. I'll see how I like it.
Thanks for your service. I carry this firearm in rotation, love it. My main carry is a FN 5.7 MK 3. Enough Said.
FN 5.7 and a AR 5.56 is a must have in a situation 😊
The 5.7 is fast but it's a 40 grain projectile, that doesn't impress me, a 9mm 115 grain is nearly 3 times that weight and a 230 grain .45 cal. Is close to 6 times the weight. So while your throwing marbles I'm throwing bowling balls.
@@tubeonline629 OK if you say so. I will continue using my marbles. Marbles works for me. Thanks.
Bravo.

I also carried a 1911 for years but getting older I needed something smaller and lighter, then I found a DE1911U, problem solved.
@@scorpiostjamesI have a gen 1 full size mnp in 40 and just bought an m2.0 3.6 inch. They both shoot fuckin awesome. And very accurate weapons
The way the Springfield Hell Cat fills holding it and grip its a really nice hand gun.I believe I'll be buying one
Same man I picked up a Shield EZ on a whim and with that pistol I can accurately hit targets way further out than with my USP or my Sig. It's just such an ergonomic comfortable gun. Unbeatable for the price and performance!!!
80yrds free hand with a 9mm folks. Extremely impressive 👏
I thought you were going to run out of shooting range before the 2 consecutive no hits. Your pistols skills are top notch!
My primary carry is a XDM-Elite 9mm 3.8. Took the magwell off and added a pierce pinky grip to the small mag, makes it a true four finger grip but still small enough for concealed carry. Works well larger mags and a sleeve.
Would like to see that. I'm looking for a different grip setup for mine.

Not single action. Double /single, hammer fire 🔥, double only, or a striker 🔥 fire
Your marksmanship skills are quite impressive. Enjoyed the video, information, and perspective. Thanks for sharing!

I love my S&W M&P shield plus performance center Thing is flat out accurate and reliable. Love it
Nice shooting.
I have a 43X for when I'm out with my family (15 round mag) but when it's just me, I carry a 442 Pro Series a lot. Love that little gun.

I got all those guns in your line up and I have been using the Shield arms mags from the day they came out for my 43X. I have thousands of rounds through my Shield Arms mags and never an issue. Interesting I didn't realize that and I have a bunch of those magazines both the 13rd and 15rd. I'm guessing you tested the reliability of this combo?
Ha…, true. I’ve had three SIG P365’s (tried my best to give it a chance) and one SIG P938. EVERY one had to go back to SIG for malfunctions.
Excellent video, thank you Chadd and everyone involved.
Ridiculously Impressive shooting skills. Looks like our tax money was well spent. Lol!
My favorite is the Hellcat Pro as well…love it, 2nd most accurate pistol I have..conceals well, fits in hand perfect.
Next time we need to see Chili's hands. They better not be super soft. lol
Gotta be callused from packing tshirts
I have been carrying a Iwi Masada Slim now for about a year now. Love it. Mags hold 13 rounds but my Jericho and cz75 mags work perfectly.
What ?????
If your reason for not owning a gun is money, don't let that stop you. There are a bunch of affordable options that DONT suck. Canik comes to mind first. Also look for layaway at your gun store preferences.
Even if you have to get a Hi Point, better than nothing at all.
Every law abiding citizen should have protection.
Good luck!
@@richardwebb371can't agree more. First one owned was a Hi Point. Settled on the Canik Mete, I love it. Now I'm looking into the Canik MC9 as an edc
💯
SEXY
God damn! 80yds with irons sights and super small sight radius. 👏🏻. I night need to check this baby out.
Loved your Sig remark at the end lol
Outstanding shoot. I've tried all but hard to beat 19X and G45.
Agreed. Solid lifetime performers.
Those are big.
@@hansblitz7770 That’s what she said.
No sir. G21 and G20 are ''big''@@hansblitz7770
Ok, 80 yards with less than a 5 in barrel. Excellent!!
Now, is it the gun or the operator?
Pretty sure it's the operator
Love the G26, fits my small man-hands very well.
😂 went through all those interations and wound up right back at a Glock 19😂😂😂
Logical reasoning
Sig P365 XL or Sig P365 X Macro are better !
Great gun but I'm having problem with rusting EDC. Do you have any problems I also live in Florida
I just bought a hellcat pro. Love it. Accurate at long distance. Only shot at 40 yards so far
