great info Pete i am running near enough the same as you probs my needle at clip 3 and 40 pilot will componsate your clip 2 38 pilot i will probarbly change to 38 pilot when weather finaly warms up and you are 100% correct when you put that torque pipe on its like WOW really makes the bike a great bike to ride I love mine coz of the height and nimble feel of the bike thanks for the videos
Hi Pete have you tried this set up on jetting with the stock pipe , picking one up tomorrow (Xtrainer 25) and will set the carb to these setting from the off but will have stock pipe, also will run NECW needle on clip 2 just because I have one and it’s worked well in my 200rr and previous 300rr
Thanks for sharing the route you took to get yours set up as you like. Did you follow the prescribed process in the manual getting to 2.25 air screw turns, or was that a widely found recommendation too? I've installed a Gnarly and changed jetting similarly (NECJ 2nd clip and 38/160) but not adjusted the air screw since new (now 60 hours). Cheers.
How would you compare the fmf performance pipe to the motoes torque pipe? I have an fmf performance pipe, and it definitely increased power all through the rev range. Definitely has more torque and can lug lower. But i want the most torque possible and be able to lug even lower. What are all the mods you uave done for more low end torque?

Cheers budy, thanks for the kind words.
Hi Pete just a small correction for your viewers. When the needle clip position is lowered this makes mixture Richer not leaner. Many thanks...jj

Hi budy, yup followed the guide lines but its all aboit how it sounds/feels and idles so its abit of testing and adjusting until its sweet.

Hi budy, pipe plus clutch weight. Loads of torque, next stage is different compression head, probaby low comp👍
Hello Pete, tell me what altitude these settings are for, or at what altitude you ride?Cheers
Hi budy, i ride about 300m above sea level but worked at 2000m at turkey great😎👍
Thanks friend 💪🏻
Hi, what 2 stroke oil do you use and at what ratio? Cheers
I use the motul 710, I run 50/1. Its less smokey and spoogey to.
@@pete2wheels438 Cheers, I am torn whether to remove the oil injection as it seems to be good but a pre mix is the safer option?
Is that a motoes pipe for xtrainer or RR ? Thanks
Pipes for the xtrainer budy😎👍
