I would say so but Owen removed the original taco which i think is the same as the xt and just used an aftermarket timer. Consencious is that Beta lacks when it comes to its overall electrical systems.
Hi mate, do you find the front end to be a little hairy at times? Its starting to bug me on mine! I played around with everything , set sag, compression, rebound , stem bolt tighter ! and still just feels a little unsettled and lacks that planted feel! Iv come from being on race bikes most of my life too so wondering if im just not used to the light enduro/trials bike feel! Cheers👍
@@toddymcg comparing the bigger heavier 300cc bike like ktm and husky there are minuses and pros for both bikes I find. Your right about the bike being less planted like it can barge through anything and remain planted where the xt jumps around more deflecting. Personally for me I like a light front end as it makes the bike more playful and maluable for me. My overall take is that if your 85kg + and strong being on a ktm/husky is like me 70kg and less being on an xt especially in gravity defying positions.
For the tach, find the plug behind the headlight and run a zip tie around it, had the same issue been flawless since.
Same here! Unplugged it, put some dielectric grease in there, plugged it back in and zip tied it. Problem solved
Are the electrical parts on the rr models junk as well or just on the xt model
