I JUST got the xtreme3, and I’m looking to get the charge 5 so I can connect them via partyboost 🤔. Radio doesn’t work in my older car, and I was gonna put the xtreme 3 in the back and mount the charge 5 up front. I think it’ll be AWESOME!
It will be. I have 2 extreme 3 hanging in the trunk, and 2 flip 5s in the front cup holder. I plan to get a boombox 3 so it will be the main sub, extremes as mids and flips as treble, just like a standard car sound system. They destroyed my stock car speakers Just be prepared to buy a large battery bank to charge them. Also, once you're done take them out and throw em in front of your tv, voila

This is one of the reasons I regret buying my first jbl product. The jbl xtreme 1. It wasn't even compatible with Jbl xtreme 2....😮💨 and the 2 is not compatible with the 3....and I hope....I really hope that they stick with partyboost. Because I am am about to invest in the jbl lineup...form boombox to flip just for the partyboost....😍
@@serktv6231 honestly the boomboxes are the only ones I would buy tbh. There are better options for the price point of the Xtreme, charge and flip. Unless you really just want a bunch of JBL speakers to party boost lol. I love JBL but after hearing the motion boom plus and Xtreme 2 side by side in person it opened my eyes quite a bit
@@serktv6231 get two of the party box 110s or encore essentials and use them as TWS and you're golden. Or better yet if you had two 310s it's a killer system for 800 bucks. Hard to beat at that price point.

You should not really need to use the app. Turn one of the speakers on and make sure it is connected to your phone via bluetooth. Next, on that same speaker press the party boost button. Make sure the other speaker is not connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Then, tap the party boost button and they should automatically search for each other and connect.

Pls can anyone help me? I have a problem with my jbl xtreme 3 GG version, the buttons are not working only start up button works. I can press the buttons but they are not reacting. I already tried restarting and factory restarting nothing works bcs the buttons won t work. Also i can t turn off the speaker i can only turn it on and conect to my phone. I can only turn off my speaker by pressing start up button 8times times and hold it for 10 secs. The speaker plays music and videos normally without problems. PLS I NEED HELP
Bro, the best thing to do if u have a problem u can’t fix is CALL JBL and explain that it doesn’t work. They will let u ship them the speaker, and send u a BRAND NEW ONE in the mail. I had a JBL Charge 3 a year ago and it just STOPPED WORKING ALTOGETHER (wouldn’t even turn on). So I called them, and shipped it in and got a new one within a week or 2 (maybe a bit longer-not sure). Kind of a hassle, but they’re COOL about replacing ur broken speaker!

You should not really need to use the app. Turn one of the speakers on and make sure it is connected to your phone via bluetooth. Next, on that same speaker press the party boost button. Make sure the other speaker is not connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Then, tap the party boost button and they should automatically search for each other and connect.
