The new Moto X is a far brawnier contender than its celebrated forerunner, and while it's lost something in its transition from petite to ponderous, it's also much more likely to succeed on store shelves. The quality of videos from pocketnow has gone from Awesome to Awesome'r ! Michael Fisher good job buddy! Moto X FTW!
Hello computer? Funny as hell :)
Michael fisher is a beast at tech reviewing. Great video.
damn... you guys make some REALLY PROFESSIONAL REVIEW VIDEOS (i mean... yeah you guys are pros... but damn!)
the language, the tones, the videography... this is just great...
i know i should be talking about the phone, but the review is pretty darn good, and i though i should comment on that rather than the phone (i am thinking of buying it cause of this review)
"A build of four fourty four". This was the best thing about the video. Michael is the beat cell phone reviewer on the planet.
Michael Fischer is one of the most underrated tech reviewer of today. Another splendid review once again.
I'm a note 3 user, and soon to be note 4 user, but i always enjoy ALL your videos. Big fan. Thanks, michael and pocketnow team. You guys are my first stop for mobile tech entertainment and information.
When you were sneaking up behind it and how you said, "Hello Computer" that absolutely made my day! 😂
Love the transition effects. And, as usual, nice job on the review itself. :)
Oh man @captain2phones a.k.a Michael Fan of ur art of direction and camera handling in video. And the new way of introduction just simply was awesome. Appreciative work HATS OFF..
Loved the Star Trek 4 quote...nice touch.
"A keyboard. How quaint." ^M
Pocketnow Yes! Lol
Pocketnow That was awesome with that hello computer quote. :D
Pocketnow I want a phone made of transparent aluminum.
Gregori Lucas
no it was star trek.
Your editing work in this video Michael is sublime... A+. The 2014 X really does have a great new design, yet there are some questionable elements.
I love Michael Fisher!!! hahaha... the way he talks... his face... everything... I follow pocketnow just because of him... hahaha
This might be Michael's best review yet! Totally loved it!
Great review! Especially the title sum up perfectly my thoughts on this device
As always, great review, Michael!
Awesome video review as usual Michael, I wish you would do more.. But yeah had the battery been on par with the big guys I might have considered this.
Great review Michael!- as always!
Incredible review . Thanks Michael Fisher and PocketNow team !👍
Michael Fisher is the coolest tech reviewer on the Internet, hands down!Top class review as always,Michael! :D

This guy is amazing on every review. very enjoyable to listen, completely satisfied with the information.
keep it up Michael.
Great Review Michael. Easily one of the Best on TH-cam. Keepuothegoodwork!👍
Great review! Keep up the good work!
Great to see a review where Michael is passionate to do. Congratulations for your purchase, is the best Android smartphone today. Whish it had OIS and a larger battery....
Great video and nice transitions
Good filming great job Michael!
great review, as always guys.
"Hello Computer", loving your catchy phrase Michael!!
Very good review. Detailed, honest and unbiased.
love this review its informative and fun to watch thanks for that!
As usual, great review..Thanks Michael..
Kudos to Michael for giving an unbiased review even though he is a huge Moto X fan, real professionalism
This is the best review I've seen from Michael Fisher
great review as usual, Michael! you are one of the best reviewers along with MKBHD and Joshua.. Moto X is a great product, and I'm glad Lenovo has not fingered with the Moto series in any way
Good review. Love the LOST easter eggs in your vids LOL
See you in another life, brother. ^M
As usual, love the review and if my nexus isn't new, I would get this for sure!
Cool review, guy.
Good review! Kudos.
The best reviewer on TH-cam.
Great review Michael as always, hey I was looking for your review on the one plus one and I couldn't find, you never did it? Cause I have plans to buy it and I'm watching reviews, hoping you did one. If not I hope you can cause I trust your opinion.
I've been looking for a good review of the Moto X, this one is perfect! Great job
Awesome review Micheal as always.
Sad news on the camera and battery part Iron Man. Hope you guys do a video comparison of this and the new Nexus coming out soon. As always, enjoyed the review.
10 years later, this is all but nostalgia.
Great review by arguably one of the best tech reviewers on the net.
Best youtube reviewer period
Great review as always! I wish this phone was for WP but I'm getting it any way to back up my 1520. Oh and the moto 360
I like it how you say "Hello computer". Sounds awesome.
And speaking of awesome, I can't wait to buy the new Moto X, although it's a bit larger than what I hoped for, it packs way to many cool features not to have it
great review man...:-):-)
This is one of the best reviews i have ever seen :)
Awesome review as always Michael. Thank you for being so fair, balanced and honest in it, even though we know you are a massive fan (and rightfully so) of the first gen X. I also loved the first iteration, but after watching this, I'm going to stick to my One m8. I'm surprised that the battery is so mediocre. The m8 battery is only slightly larger than last year's m7, but it's phenomenal. The optimizations they did with the snapdragon 801 are amazing, and I'm frankly surprised that Motorola, the optimization king, wasn't able to do the same.
Michael Fisher is just hands down the best reviewer in TH-cam.
MKBHD
Great review
Love that you sneek in Concerts :)
This is the best review of a phone I've ever seen! Micheal Fisher rocks (thumbs up). Looking forward to Galaxy Note 4 review. And this Motorola should've kept the previous back cover design with slightly large battery! Disappointed :-(
Great review as always. I'll be happy to buy one if they could just make the moto maker available where I am.
Thank you Pocketnow for this review and you did the work perfectly :)
Alae Ad Thanks for watching! ^M
Captain2Phones is the best reviewer!
Awesome review......... Thumbs up....
Great review! Currently have a note 3 and looking to upgrade to either this new moto x or the note 4 not sure now because I like the features of moto voice but I also like the features of the note 4 as far as multi window is concerned. Both seem like great devices not sure which one ti choose
great review.
Nice review
I'm probably hooked on Motorola right now. After owning the last gen X for 4-5 months, and seeing the new one shine just as equally, I have to say that there is really something about Motorola devices that's charming, and truly great. Not to mention the great devices that are the G, and 360. Motorola is showing signs of that short term Google ownership, and in a really good way!
Great food photos :-)
Did the battery life get any better Michael?great review btw
Getting this phone tomorrow on at&t is it a good choice or should i get the iPhone 6
Solid review
Hey guy i need your advice should I get an iPhone 6+, HTC One or LG
3?
nice review
Pocketnow I just love ***** for his review. He covers every aspect in his review.
As always great review from him.
And what i love about pocketnow is that this channel do their job very well with whatever resources they have, you guys are not racing for 4k like other tech reviewers. Some reviewer have lots of resources with them but their reviews are just not up to the mark.
great, great review.. I think this one was one of the best. (quality, filming and everything in between)
Is there a camera app in the Play Store that would help with camera settings, to help take a better picture? Great review!!! Now I really don't know which smartphone to get in December. :p
I love your cinematic reviews *****
Nice phone but late in the flagship game.
James Meagher I think it's right on time for those who love to customize their hardware. It's really the only device that does that.
otis ellis till a new Nexus device comes out with better specs at a cheaper price.
James Meagher true but this is a niche device.
Best choice of 2014 and I think early 2015. I'd love to say "Hello Moto" to wake it up. And I love active display and new motovoice. Gr8 job. Only wish they kept the 4.7 display, but anyway
Will the 1st gen Moto X be getting an update to have Google Voice and the customizable phrase instead of "OK Google"?
Hmmm. Deciding between the Note 4 and the 2nd gen. Moto X.... not an easy choice! Still using my old GS3 that I preordered back in the day, so no question I need an upgrade. Just gotta pick which one! Any thoughts?
Ill be keeping my first gen X. Not digging the non one handed use nor the battery life. Looks like some of the major concerns of the First gen were left behind and only appearnce upgrades have been made. Understandable when a company wants their product to shine in the jungle of flagship devices.
"Hello computer" I love it :) Trekkie's for life!
Thanks for another great review :) ***** Pocketnow
I love pocket now.
Nice review.....
appearantly android L will be great with battery life. and since moto x runs near stock android the update will come pretty soon after release. so wouldn't worry too much about the battery
This is the best and the most practical phone of android ever built. Moto is doing great. Love it!
hmmmm i think moto x should have stayed true to itself ....regardless, a really really nice review by the best reviewer on youtube
I am waiting for the Moto X 2015. I hope they fix the battery and camera, make the dimple less ugly and add a second (smaller) screen size option.
The back looks scruffy already. How long did that take?
Trevor Beckett Not long. ^M
I was thinking the same thing
Those aren't scuffs; they're marks of character.
***** Well it brings up the concern that it already looks like that and to my understanding Michael has only had it for around a week. Makes you wonder what it will look like after a year.
It gives it character.
Been trying to order one on Moto Maker for the past two days but keep getting an error message at checkout.
Pocketnow is the camera bad or the software processing is bad...??? How does the pics come out with Google camera ..??
Michael you are the best
Great, i'm going to have to wait until HD processes. I hate being this early...
Look on the bright side: at least you didn't waste your comment by shouting "FIRST!" :) ^M
Pocketnow Lol, great one dude!
Pocketnow ha!
Pocketnow Lol Jajaja
This is the video that got me to drop Blackberry and try Motorola, the Moto X 2nd gen. I loved it. Since then my wife and I have had 6 Motorola's the latest version the Moto Z3. I've tried other phones and some are excellent but I like my Moto's.
michael fisher is great at reviews :-)..
Does it still have the splash resistant coating on it?
Hey Michael, have you tried the new turbocharger for your moto x gen 2? I was hoping someone could review that as it's something that's not talked about, yet it can charge the new moto x to 80% in 15 minutes and I'm hoping someone can review that soon, cause that will be a huge advantage for me.
As said by many others, the 2300MaH battery just isn't enough for my needs... I really do like the direction Moto has been headed in, and I hope to see them stay on the same path post Lenovo purchase.
Now that there's a battery case for this phone (a 4200 mah one, if I'm not mistaken), I can cover it a second look. The Moto X really seems like an amazing phone, but that battery life was a dealbreaker.
Hi Pocketnow ,im in a Plan of buying a new smart phone which one i can prefer Either HTC ONE E8 , Moto X 2nd G or Nexus 5 , i prefer specs with good video ,Sound & Camera clarity, Better Gaming performance with good battery Life , a Good entertainer , pls suggest , Im looking for Htc now :)
Is it still worth getting the 2013 1st Gen model now, or will it soon be incompatible with updates and the like?
Good luck, they stopped making the 2013 Moto X
. I had to jump through hoops just for them to tell me that they don't sell it anymore.
Phone looks absolutely great! Even better then the original but I must say I feel like this time the battery was a mistake. Moto surprised everyone last year with the moto x great battery life but this year it doesn't seem that they've been able to pull the same trick. Love my Z2 for its amazing battery
