    So if you had a 2024 Bronc WT with Sasquatch pkg - and Fox 2.5 elites and 2.5 adjustable Kings were your two choices ,which would you chose for the smoothest ,softest most performance out of the two ??? In your professional opinion? Thank you. B. A Videos- keep em coming

    I’ve heard rumors that King changed their shock design for the Bronco and that some UCA’s no longer clear but there isn’t much info out there yet. Have seen this issue? I’m looking at SPC UCA

      Update, the SPC's clear the new design at full droop. Kings come with 2" of built in lift up front though from Sasquatch at their lowest possible setting. Ride is fairly rough as well compared to factory bilsteins. (I ran 37's prior to Kings and they ran better on my stock Sas then my Kings. Not sure if I have a bad set or what). I'm gonna try a tune but so far I'm regretting Kings

    I am going to be towing my offroad camping trailer now and then that has 400 pounds of tongue weight. That coupled with a roof rack and other mods could have me pushing my payload limits. Would these still be a good option or if the box?

      The shocks can definitely handle the punishment, but the springs out of the box may not be adequate. In a perfect world, you'd wanna run heavier springs. However, depending how much lift you're trying to have and what size tires you want to run, you might be able to support the additional weight by adding Spring preload and still get great performance. You can certainly change the springs after the fact, if you're ok with taking the shocks out and swapping them.

    Anyone running these with the full 3" lift and 37s? I have a 2-door 2.7L Sas and am seriously considering these as long as I can run my 37s (currently have a Zone 3" spacer lift).

    What is the actual stroke length on both front and rear on these kings for the bronco?

    Do these provide the best increase in articulation/travel or are there better kits for that?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Adam, that's a bit of a complex question to answer, but in short... yes, these kings will grant a large increase in articulation IF you pair it witht he correct Upper Control arm. There are other kits out there that will replace the upper and lower control arms, and this will widen teh front and give more wheel articulation, but these kits start to get easily into the $10k range, and out of the scope of what most people are willing to spend. If you wanna dive in deeper, best to give us a call at 833.MOTOROSO (833.668.6767) we'd be happy to chat through options with you.

    How do I get to that 3 in with my wildtrac Sasquatch out of the box ? Do I need to buy the upper and lower control arms ? Can u explain what thanks

      Runnign the shocks at their full ride height by adjusting the spring preload collar is how you get the 3" of lift. And yes, at that lift height, you really should have an aftermarket UCA that can handle the increased angles and additional wheel travel. It's also a good idea to get replacement trailing arms to adjust the angles in the rear. A Track bar is a good idea as well to nail the last 5% of the aliugnment.

    Do you have to change the upper control arms if you use these or can you use these with the stock upper control arms

      If you don’t dial up the lift too high, you can use stock UCAs, but in order to benefit from the full stroke and wheel travel, you’ll need a proper UCA. I don’t see why anyone would spend this much on the shocks and not do the UCA, there are very reasonably priced options out there.

    i see no difference between these and the Fabtech kit besides the price?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Alan, the biggest difference is the compression damping adjustment. And that's a fairly large difference. The Fabtech shocks are great, but they're set one way, and that's the way you run them. The King's however give you 20 clicks of compression damping adjustment. That adjustability is nice if you plan to tackle a lot of different types of terrain. But, if you don't think you'll use the adjustments, then the Fabtech's are certainly a better "value" option, but still fantastic performance. We've got the fabtech kits in stock if you're interested.
