I think that many people are wondering why the flags have to be identically placed. They just don't understand respect and tradition. It makes me proud to see so many volunteers. Thank you all for caring about the fallen.
Being a veteran myself and thank you for your service and the many men and women who gave their lives, so I could my duty for this country. I definitely salute these past, present and future veterans.
Hi Phil and Stacy, Concerning your RV drain problem, check where the air vent that is allowing the water go down the drain into the RV drain site. An example of this is when you have a cup of coffee and you put a lid on the cup. The lid will have a small air hole in the lid to allow the air into the cup before you can drink the coffee from the cup. Best of luck with the RV sink drains.
Phil, put baking soda down the drain and then cleaning vinegar. Leave it alone for 10min to 20min, you will see it foaming up, Then flush with hot water.
Thank you for putting the flags on the graves. My father and stepfather are both buried there. I appreciated it! ❤ I retired from the Air Force in 1997.
We LOVE you guys, I have tears in my eyes....thank you for the respect and care you give to our military men and women. Without them....we would not be the great country we are (well...i mean we "will be again" soon).
Neither me or my husband are veterans. We do have a few on both sides of the family. That said, we ARE patriots!!! THANK YOU both for doing something so important! We live in a fairly small town now but I will definitely look into doing this. Ya’ll brought tears to my eyes.😉 We, as a family, are so incredibly grateful to those who have served and those that are serving!!!!! I try to come up with words that just aren’t enough…….ultimate respect and so much love! ❤❤❤
Wow Phil! My dad is early 80’s Vietnam vet I’m Cold War navy vet, we do 5,000 flags every memorial holiday along with the other volunteers, between 3 cemetery’s. Makes ya think some when ya do this.
Try putting baking soda down drain and then pour vinegar down drain. Let it work for about hr. Then pour boiling hot water down drain. If still slow do a second time. The bubbling of vinegar and b a king soda helps get all goop stuck in pipes. Works in shower drains also. And no harsh chemicals.
You are lucky to have the easy to disassemble sink drain set up that you do. You may have to check that sink vent that I saw is in under there. Reading? I have started reading manuals, not completely but, LOL.
We feel your pain. Our latest adventure to Lambeau Field included our HWH jacks failing to retract, our Hydro-Hot not blowing heat into the living area, our fridge deciding it didn’t want to fire up on propane, and our TireMinder TPMS giving me 4 NS at once. The jacks had to be pried up and we have an appointment at HWH in Moscow on our way back home to Oklahoma. I fixed our Hydro-Hot by smacking the check valve with a hammer. I found that I had to run the propane stove burner for a few minutes to get air out of the line for the fridge to ignite, and replaced 4 batteries in some of the affected TPMS sensors. It still came up with a NS occasionally, but cleared itself up after about 20 minutes. I can’t wait until the trip home to see what happens next. 😂😂
wow, Trigger for me. Been a long time sense that has happened. Brought tears to my eyes and had the shakes, but so proud of my fallen brothers and sisters.
I can tell you about 2 snakes , one new low cost air vent and nothing worked to flow right. I took the vent off. put my finger at the vent to shut off water if it was going to overflow and it ran fine. Bought a new vent (higher prive unit) and it has worked ever since. Always start with the vent and realize if you plunge the sink you can distroy the vent.
We brought our sleep number bed 3 years ago and we can't imagine rv'ing without it. Although it does stick over 6 inches, we have the room to move around. When travel day comes, we use straps to fold the mattress and it takes about 15 seconds.
I did that years ago in our local area in the Girl Scouts and we were dressed in our uniforms and performed our color guard!! It’s one thing I will never forget and one of my mom’s brothers are layed to rest there!!
Phil Try putting 1/2 half cup of Calgon Bath Oil Beads in the drain and a cup or 2 cups white vinegar next and let it set for a couple hours. We had a drain issue in our shower and none of the RV products worked. But this did the trick. So about once a month I do this in every drain when we are going site seeing, and we have had no issues in 2 years.
For me... RVTW is quicker if you do all the site stops in sequence versus what you demonstrated, setting the beginning and end, then fill in the middle. When planning in sequence, each campground automatically shows a mileage distance from previous planned campground, making it easy to judge the daily drive. We keep our daily drive under 200mi, so when clicking on a potential "next" campground, I can quickly determine if it's too far or not far enough. When booking in sequence I also don't have to tell the app where to position the campsite stop, which is a real hassle. When planning in sequence the app automatically positions the stop in the itinerary right after the previous campsite. Planning in sequence saves lots of time for most travelers. However, your needs are different because you're more "event oriented", so you need to lock those event dates, but that creates more steps and hassle for all the fill-in campsites. The method you demonstrated is OK, and it works, but it's more work for the average camper.
Borax and dawn dish soap for holding tanks , drains and to clean pipes. This combo also takes care of the smells. Heat will make pipes accumulate mold and sludge. Trust me we live in Fla and have had our rig for 4 years It doesn’t take long for all the sludge to accumulate!😅. Happy Trails!
First, thank you for your respect to our Veterans! Then, about the book club, (while I am not a good candidate for such) may I suggest the author Ayn Rand. In particular, Atlas Shrugged. Happy & Safe journeys! Ken
The first time I saw the Ninja smoker was on your channel. I watched many videos and bought the XL with the extra flat plate. I can't wait to get it and use it.
On our 2021 RED 33AA we got a pea-trap from the OEM instead of the hassle of the clogging nature of a HepvO valve. A pea-trap takes up a little more room, but I reengineered the Tiffin plumbing to maximize the room under the sink, and it now accepts a regular 15" high trashcan.
My husband has a suggestion. Check the vent that is in the top left corner under your sink. He says these go out all the time. It will prevent sink drainage if it is not working.
Probably already mentioned, but I’d try replacing that studor vent under the sink. Also called air admittance valve. Over time the rubber in the valve can get stuck and won’t let the drain line vent air, basically causing a vacuum in the line that won’t let it drain.
I ordered one for my home before I got my RV. And now I have a bunk size for my RV. I used to sell mattresses and this has been great. Plus the price for a good mattress can be a lot of money. So there prices are really good for a good product.
We had a signature hybrid and after a year of full timing it had body impressions in it so soft it was hard to get out of it. We warrantied it out and down graded for a solid memory foam model and it was just as bad. It only lasted 9 months. Now sleeping on a Cantwell mattress made in Corpus Christi and really liking it.
I just bought the NEW blackstone (suitcase titanium ceramic coated) adventure ready 20" camping model. I can't wait till it arrives. Best part is that it's small.
Baking soda and vinegar (let it sit awhile) followed by boiling hot water helps ... just like in a house. Check your Air Admittance Valve - not like in a house ;) - they need replacing every once in a while.
If you think it is a food or grease clog try first running boiling water followed by box of baking soda followed by just enough water to get drain lines coated with baking soda. Follow baking soda with boiling vinegar. The fizzing of the baking soda / vinegar will dislodge stuff stuck to drain walls. After baking soda vinegar finishes fizzing rinse with more boiling water.
If your kitchen sink is in your slide, check the flexible connection between the slide and the rest of the coach. I had 2 motorhomes with the sink in the slide and found the flexable joint was the problem. Bent, pinched etc that will restrict flow. Good luck and safe travels!😊
Great video!! We love our Brooklyn Bedding Mattress. Maybe try a small manual 25 ft snake on that sink, Good Luck! Quite the outdoor kitchen at that sight very cool.
I’ve heard rumors about drain clogs of using a mixture of arm and hammer and vinegar of working really well so you might do some research Phil just trying to help out a fellow rv’er
I had a blackstone but found it too heavy & troublesome to get out for a nite or two. So I gave it away then bought the cheapest most compact lightest Coleman camping grill. Extremely light and small. Get out & fire up in a minute. Throw away the aluminum foil & clean up done. Simple is better for me.
QUESTION? Does your bed fold at the headboard end to allow the slide to come in, i.e., the pillow portion lifts to what is referred to as the tv viewing position
Phil, we want to rv full time. My husband and I have both had our knees replaced. Does it hamper your ability to dump your tanks or other things? Thank you all that you! We will check out laying wreaths in the fall this is awesome!
Not at all. I can squat down, modified to the left a little, but I can do most things as before surgery. My only real issue is kneeling on the new knee. I can do it, but it doesn't like it. I say go for it! Once you get comfortable with the new knee, you will be good to go.
Stacy, my husband said that he saw some sourdough on your kitchen counter? Are you rinsing your bowls and utensils down the sink? This happened to us and yeah it’s still draining slow! But I no longer wash the sourdough dishes in the indoor sink. I use hot water outside. Love my sourdough!
Did you check your vent for the sink? Mud daubers like to build nests there and you've been stationary for a while. Glad you are mending well. Enjoying your posts!
We are looking at getting a new mattress for our new Class A. My wife is concerned about the springs. How do you like yours and have you had any problems? Thanks
Next comment... love the flying Stacy from long time ago! Making the bed. We have a 2015 33aa and hate the crack in our king size bed. Which mattress did you guys order? Thanks so much! Brendan & Lena
Something blocking the vent pipe? I've got the same problem every year at the house... I've got a separate vent for one of the bathrooms, and every year the sink in there drains real slow because some bird has decided to build a nest covering half of the vent.
We cannot begin to thank you for this. As very, very long time subscribers, we thank you for your attention to our military. Our son is 18 years Air Force. Try baking soda in the drain & pour vinegar in. Stops smells and may clear the drain.
This procedure fixed our shower drain problem.
There are TH-cams showing the procedure for doing this.

Interesting drain issue - worse sometimes, then nearly normal. Safe travels.
We love our Brooklyn Bedding mattress too! Perfect firmness/softness. That Ninja grill looks amazing. We need to check it out.
You should!
Glad to see Phil is doing better with his wing and I hope you find your drain problem and it's something easy.
Thank you. The wing is healing nicely. Still working the drain issue.
You need some good old-fashioned Navy "bug juice" to clean that sink drain line.
Right! We used it to clean our brass fire hose nozzles and turnbuckles!
The Minimal Mom has had their mattresses (RV and home) for a couple years. They love ALL of them.
Lisa’s dad is buried at Fort Sam. Thank you!! ❤️❤️
Phil, to fix your slow drain try replacing the RV P-trap.
Recommended book to read; A Land remembered. It’s a book about Florida back in the ole days.

If you did not resolve your "slow draining" sink, check your roof vent to see if some varment or something is cloging the venting.
Don & Honey
I did check the roof vent, all clear. The search continues.
I hope your shoulder rehab heals well. Hugs Bro.

No, ours does not fold. The bed fits perfect when the slides are together.
