LOVE LOVE LOVE Buc-ee’s. My favorites: Big unsweet ice tea, pulled pork sandwich, home made chips, sugared pecans, coke cola icee, kettle pop corn, CLEAN restrooms, ALL the boutique shopping!!!!
It looked like you broke Phil's heart when you took his pudding away. It seems Buckies would be an experience and get deep in your pockets if your not careful. Great video and looking forward to yall on the road again. I'm glad the jeep wasn't hurt in the haste.
14:21 I NEED that tee-shirt! It is soooo true!, and we are at that point right now!!! Thank you both for your service to this, the greatest country ever to grace this fair Earth!
Bucees. The only store that should have it's own zip code. Glad you're feeling better Phil. I think I saw y'all on I 75 / 45. Safe travels. Looking forward to seeing your next video.
I’m with you Stacy chopped is the way to go. First time we went my wife went through 165.00, they are building one right now on I-95 at exit 42 in Georgia it’s amazing that it will have 120 fuel pumps. I’m with Phil on the pudding his expression when you took his pudding was priceless. Best part of the one we’re getting is I can’t have brisket daily if I choose to. Bu-cees is a destination not a convenient store or gas station.
OMG!!! You guys have us cracking up!!! We live 3 miles from the Crossville Tennessee Buccees and only visit when family visits. BUT I want some of those warm chips. Fun episode. Thanks!
We avoid the Buckies since some of them are not RV-friendly. We were parked out of the way in the back one time and we were asked to leave, they do not have parking for large rigs. We were there just to shop, not to spend the night. We have heard that several other RVer's have been asked to leave.
My friend works at one and she said they have problems with people leaving their trash, dog poo, and pee bottles in the parking lots. They monitor when they can, and if someone has stayed over 1 hour, they check the vehicle to see what's up. If you tell them you won't be staying and purchasing something you can stay for a reasonable time. They don't want boondockers...
We love the diesel prices and also the chicken burrito and brisket. Our two favorite buc-ee's in Georgia and Florida: exit 144 off of i-75 at Warner robins and exit 323 off of i-95 world of golf in St Augustine Florida. The worst one is in Georgia exit 310 off i-75 near Calhoun: You will struggle getting in and out because the pumps are all on one side and one exit. We never stop at that one one anymore.
We stopped at the one in Texas City on the way to Jamaica Beach RV Resort a couple of Sunday's ago. Going to have to make a stop in Luling the next time we're that way. Unlike Phil, I don't eat nothing else but, the BRISKET samich!!!
Was just at Buc-ees two weeks ago in Melissa, TX on our way to Bonham State Park for the day. Our car meal was chopped brisket, the potato chips and banana pudding. Our purchase was a soft sided tie dyed cooler for the car. Safe travels and God Bless Texas!
The smell in Lulling is the oil wells in the area, and it just depends upon the wind direction. As for Buc-ee's, it is the convenience of being close by, cheap fuel, good brisket sandwiches and with the TDECU Buc-ee's card and additional 5% off everything, include fuel. Going there tomorrow to get 300 pounds of ice for the pool. Those with a pool in Texas know how hot it can get.
Buc-ee's is a must stop. So many goodies, but my go-to are the brisket sammich & bag of chips for lunch and a bag of Beaver Nuggets for the road. My non-purge purchase was a set of two Buc-ee's car coasters. They make me smile every time I get in the car. 🙂🦫
Brake checks besides light check and wheels spinning... Do _you_ look into your toad when Phil is behind the wheel of the coach and LOOK for the brakes on the toad _actuating_ when he hits the brake pedal? 3 postings to the tiffin groups recently of failure of the brake actuation cables on Air Force One brakes. We had it happen to us too.... So we always look in the window and watch the brakes actuate. The brake lights can come on without the brake pedal actually moving.
Wow that place is insain! Had heard of it, but this visit with you two gave a different perspective You guys are a mess! When it comes to your love of food! Lol Thanks for sharing this. 🙂
At Bucees, Tim likes the brisket and Amy likes the big dark chocolate peanut butter candies. We both like the original beaver nuggets. I didn’t know what TN city you said had the biggest Bucees. Had to pause it and look at it, lol! The emphasis is on the “viere” part. We’ve been by that one but not in it. We’ve only been to the Calhoun, GA one and the one near Birmingham. Cleanest restrooms around! Love us some Bucees!
Ahhh Buc-eee’s!! You guys need to make time for a Texas BBQ Quest! We did one about 5 years ago and are planning BBQ Quest number 2 in October! Texas has some incredible BBQ spots. Some big and some small, but all amazing! We have a 1 to 10 scoring system for all things BBQ. We hit 12 spots last time and are planning a whole bunch more on this go around (have to admit we are going to hit a couple favorites again!) Absolutely can’t wait!!
The closest Buckee's to us is in Baytown TX. We stop there when we go to Houston. My favorite merch are the T-shirts and favorite foods are the brisket sandwich and refillable Buckee's cup.
The closet Bucees to us in MD is in SC. It is a must stop for us. The one thing that is an absolute must to buy is the barbecue sauce. We get 5 bottles each time!!
Hello good people! Even I've been there. I was lucky enough to experience Austin this year, so visiting this gas station was a must. Was I impressed? Well, I haven't recovered yet hehe. Good travels!
I think that they need to build a Buc-ees here in New Hampshire. My wife and i have visited the one near Daytona and in Santee, SC on a couple of road trips. They are the best. We are saving our pennies to eventually purchase an RV.
We’ve been to Buc-ees and I LOVE the chopped brisket sandwich!! I first tried it in Richmond, KY and have only been to one other Buc-ees in Georgia. I love the chips and the Buc-ee nuggets!!
I usually have a curtain separating the back of the coach from the front in order to keep the heat of the back area separated from the air conditioned front. You don’t want to use the air conditioning from the front to try and cool down the whole rig.
Hi there, we always enjoy your channel. We started full time RVing June 1. Can you tell me the name of the campground in Texas with the Casita home that you stay at when Phil needs surgeries.😊 I had 2 shoulder surgeries a few years ago so I truly understand. Keep enjoying!
We were just at this Buc-ee’s on Sunday! We drove an hour and a half each way to go check it out (our home Buc-ee’s is Katy, TX - about 5 miles from home). Traffic there was a bit of a mess but once they tear down the old store it’ll be MUCH better!
We have stayed at both of those campgrounds and loved the Alsatian RV Resort. Did you stop by Haby's Alsatian Bakery in Castroville? That place is awesome ! When you stopped at the River Bend campground in Luling I'm surprised Phil didn't take the short drive up to Lockhart (the BBQ Capital of Texas) for some real Texas Brisket. Oh Yeah, I always have to get the banana pudding and their chocolate pie pudding. :-)
Did y’all see that the original Store (In Luling) across the road from the new location had a massive fire this past Monday and was almost completely destroyed?
Luling, TX. Back in the day there were operating pump jacks in most front an/or back yards throughout the town, commercial and residential. Can't comment on now, but that very well may be what you smell. Was not seasonal, and do not think there were any refineries close enough to Luling to be problematic. Again, am 80 years old now, and have not visited Luling proper in 65 years, though we always stop at the Buckeyes there on our way to Houston area.
Looks like you're enjoying yourselves! Personally, never understood the fascination with Buc-Ees. Basically, one big tourist trap, although fuel is generally cheaper.
My favorite, brisket sandwich 👍👍. Close second, peppered jerky. Great seeing y'all hit the road again. I seem to recall someone saying "have a checklist & follow it. If you get stopped or distracted -- start again !!!". Can y'all tell me who mighta said that ? Hey, everybody is going to do it or they've done it. If thats the worste thing that happens, you're lucky. Agree, Buckees can seriously hurt your travel plans and your bank account. Both worth it. God bless y'all and stay safe on your travels.
LOL... It's pronounced suh-veer-vul, Tennesee. Had you driven a few miles into the center of town, a statue of Dolly Parton is in front of the courthouse. This is Dolly's hometown.
We were heading down to Florida this last April stopping at a great Harvest Host in Indiana. It wasn't necessary to unhook. Pulling out in the morning I forgot to put the toad in neutral. I felt a heavy drag and after 5 feet I stopped. Luckily we were on gravel, so the gravel took the abuse not the transmission or tires. I called the host and left a message about the skid marks and that on our way back home I would restone that area. When we came back through a couple of weeks later, I brought a couple bags of stone but the host said not to worry about it.
My family will be here in Colorado to visit the first week of August and its on the tourist list in Berthoud CO. Cant wait to go see it. Thanks for the video.
We pull a Cherokee also. Had an issue one time with brakes not releasing. Long story. THought my wife was going to have to drive the Jeep back to Ft Worth from Davis Mountain State Park, following me in our older Alfa diesel pusher. But we figured it out!
Staying at Sun Outdoors Granby, Colorado this week. Watched a Class A pull out of the RV park and as they were driving out the front of their tow vehicle got ripped off. The car slid down the edge of the road and the front of the vehicle was attached to the Class A and laying on the ground.
Love Buc ee's but I got beef with drivers there. Maybe half the pumps have cars just parked there, no driver. They've gone into the store to shop and enjoy themselves all the while blocking pumps for drivers who need fuel. Makes me crazy. I'm a chopped brisket guy myself. Their burritos are top notch.
LOL you guys are funny. What a fun video. Love Buckeys. Went to one in Florida when we visited there. I live in San Diego area so snobby Cali doesn’t have one
I went to the Buc'ees in Colorado a few months ago. It was OVERWHELMING!!! Way too many people, it was hard to walk through the store!!! The food was delicious though! I loved the chopped brisket sandwich and cinnamon sugar beaver nuggets. It was a totally different experience than going to a Sheetz, Wawa, or Rutter's in Pennsylvania. I'd love to return to Buc'ees when it's not so crazy in there!!
If my wife is with me when we go in a Buc ee’s, we’re lucky if we get out under $100, there’s always some things she needs like oh that pretty blanket or look at those or look at that I could give that as a gift, blah blah blah. LOL I stop in at several in the Houston area regularly for the restrooms and grab a quick bite, my favorites the California chicken wrap with extra piece of chicken. Or the bbq sandwich, or the sausage on a stick or …..
the look of Phil's face when you took away the pudding. 😂😂
L! O! L!
I was laughing!
Like a kid when his parent takes his candy
That was hilarious! If he could shoot lasers from his eyes.... 🤣
I really like banana pudding! LOL
Phil’s expressions while sampling the snacks are hilarious!
We love love love the fudges!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Buc-ee’s. My favorites: Big unsweet ice tea, pulled pork sandwich, home made chips, sugared pecans, coke cola icee, kettle pop corn, CLEAN restrooms, ALL the boutique shopping!!!!

Yeah, things aren't cheap their. I think that banana pudding is like $6 !
14:21 I NEED that tee-shirt! It is soooo true!, and we are at that point right now!!! Thank you both for your service to this, the greatest country ever to grace this fair Earth!
It was designed by Grunt Style. You may find it on their website.
Having the opportunity to stop several times going back and forth, I love the brisket! And the beaver nuggets and chocolate covered coffee beans!
Bucees. The only store that should have it's own zip code.
Glad you're feeling better Phil.
I think I saw y'all on I 75 / 45.
Safe travels. Looking forward to seeing your next video.

MUST have brisket!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up 35E north through Waco towards Dallas would have brought you to the newest Buccees at Hillsboro. 8 miles from us.
Love the caterpillar at the end! Safe travels.

We do...just not everytime. I guess we will start doing that every time now.
The best thing about Buc-ees is the bathroom!
Wow that place is insain! Had heard of it, but this visit with you two gave a different perspective You guys are a mess! When it comes to your love of food! Lol Thanks for sharing this. 🙂
Glad Phil's shoulder is doing well.
Thank you!

Banana pudding, Phil! We stay out of Buc-ee’s when we get gas. You can spend a small fortune in there.
It is a destination after all! LOL
We love the nuggets! Our friends in Hawaii can’t wait till we come home and bring them back to share!
t-shirts and beaver chips. I need 2 get to Luling, someday. I'm glad that they are keeping the largest in TEXAS!
We love that Texas RV Park!!!
The look on his face when you took his pudding!! 😂😂😂 just found your channel had to subscribe for the fun!
Thanks for giving us a chance!
Since you’re going to Dallas if you are going 35 thru Waco there is a brand new Buc-ee’s north of West where 35 & 35E separate!
We have had our trail hawk do the same. It can be tricky. Glad you noticed it early.
It really is!
Buc-ee’s Candied Jalapeños..Yummm!

My first visit was south of Dallas on my way to the NRVTA last year. They have the best pulled pork sandwich.
Phil, did you leave the propane on at Buc-ees? It burned down!
They were going to tear that old place down. I was shocked to see it up in flames.
My favorite, brisket sandwich 👍👍.
Close second, peppered jerky.
Great seeing y'all hit the road again.

You are 100% correct. Sitting to long caused a lapse in procedures!
LOL... It's pronounced suh-veer-vul, Tennesee. Had you driven a few miles into the center of town, a statue of Dolly Parton is in front of the courthouse. This is Dolly's hometown.
We took a field trip to Buc-ee's when we were in Galveston for the cruise. So much fun!
Nice video guys, we need a Buc'ees out West!!
We have gone to the ones in SC and Tennessee. They are building on in Mebane, NC which is about 15 minutes from our house. Imagine that!
We just love Bucees and all their JUNK! Fan fav for us!
Love the reality!!
My hubby likes the chicken burrito. Nice Jeep. Safe travels.
We were heading down to Florida this last April stopping at a great Harvest Host in Indiana. It wasn't necessary to unhook. Pulling out in the morning I forgot to put the toad in neutral. I am going to have to visit this store! Buck-ees
Scones! That's my road trip go to at Bucees. Plus UN sweet tea.
I’ve never laughed as much watching your videos as I did this one and I’ve watched more than a few. Thank you and safe travels to you both.👍🏼😎
Glad you like them!
My family will be here in Colorado to visit the first week of August and its on the tourist list in Berthoud CO. Cant wait to go see it. Thanks for the video.

Glad it all worked out. Dragging brakes are no joke!
We were just there as well. HUGE!!! Love our Buc' ees!!!
Alsatian...Stayed there a couple of months ago...We always do a "roll" test.
The worst buc-ee's is in Georgia exit 310 off of i-75.... Pumps are all on one side and a single combined entrance/ exit. It's a struggle to get out😐
Love us some Buccee's... excited to get one in south MS in next several months!
A Happy 4th and safe travels to all! I look forward to seeing your videos.
Thanks so much!
@7:49 he said fave was chopped brisket sandwich at Bucee’s then in the truck it was sliced. Which is better?
Sliced. I meant to say sliced. I have never had the chopped. I'm getting old! LOL
We love everything about Buc-ee's.
If there is one near where you are you have to visit. I think I have been to 3 different ones. I like the bbq turkey sandwich.
Bucky's is a fun place that's guaranteed to make you run late for the rest of your trip. 😅 We love taking the extra time there. Lynn and Danny
CLEAN bathrooms!!!!!!!!!
The best part of the whole video was the thumbnail.... Love the stretchy shirts!
Thanks for sharing! Really like your channel. Great information and a lot of laughs. Awesome!
Oh, and that's a hornworm - great fishing bait!
On my bucket list! Thanks for the reviews ❤️
We love the candied jalapeños from Buceyes
Enjoyed the video. Is that the Buccee's that caught fire yesterday in Texas?
It is the old one RIGHT next to the new one!
You should see this store during a hurricane in South Alabama!! It is crazy!!
Wow! That's almost like a Walmart!
Staying at Sun Outdoors Granby, Colorado this week. Watched a Class A pull out of the RV park and as they were driving out the front of their tow vehicle got ripped off. The car slid down the edge of the road and the front of the vehicle was attached to the Class A and laying on the ground.
Wow! That is not a good start to a travel day. Hopefully, it was an easy fix and didn't cost to much in repairs.
Brisket sandwiches! I love Buc-ee’s brisket sandwiches!
I buy a couple to eat right away, and a couple for the road. (Xl of course!)
Come up to NAVSTA Great Lakes or even better Illinois Beach state park and then up to the Wisconsin Dells!
We have been to NAVSTA Great Lakes years ago. The Dells is on the list....very soon!
I don't know why people do that knowing how busy they get!
Thank you. So cool you showed how even the pro's make mistakes. And how important those check lists are. 👋😁
You are so welcome!
We went to Buc-ees for the first time on a road trip in June. Oh, that jerky! We brought back several pounds of it. So many great flavors.
Health First Always!
Tailwinds
LOL you guys are funny. What a fun video. Love Buckeys. Went to one in Florida when we visited there. I live in San Diego area so snobby Cali doesn’t have one
Thanks for watching!
My husband loves their peanut butter fudge!
I went to the Buc'ees in Colorado a few months ago. It was OVERWHELMING!!! Way too many people, it was hard to walk through the store!!! The food was delicious though! On the weekends they are packed for sure. The middle of the week is the best time we have discovered.
Love that campground, did you hit Juliette's restaurant near by?
We have before, just not this trip. We found a BBQ and pizza place in town that are awesome!!!
I have been in that Buckees, didn't get anything but a sticker. Across the road, behind Love's is a lavender shop.
We were just there last Thursday!
I'd be afraid to stop at that place because my hubby is the same! Lol 😂
You look down to earth on this video. Comfortable
Nice video you two!👍❤️
Thank you so much!!
LOL...too funny! There really is something for everyone!
VERY GOOD
I love the TEXAS BLT…with extra bacon!
Cinnamon Bucky Nuggets , are ok… but the FUDGE is great! (Key lime & praline)
FYI.. Sevierville TN (pronounced SE-vier- ville)
Is my neck of the woods!!!
Taking pudding from Phil ! How could you? :)
Right!!!!!
Get some 2 way radios so you always have comms!
What is the name of the Castroville rv park? Looks amazing.
Alsatian RV Resort.
