I used to really like Bill Burr but then he got woke. His wife, who's a really big SJW, has had a major influence on his recent comedy. He should stay away from the political stuff and stick with what made him famous.
Over the years I've listened this through several times and I still laugh out loud with tears. The punchlines are so well crafted, you can visualise everything on the joke and while you process the visuals, you laugh even more. Remarkable writing and delivery.
His humor is slick, New York suave; he’s so sure of himself, he just knows people are going to laugh; he’s not at all nervous as he knows he’s killing... he makes me sick to my stomach.
My only complaint is I blame him for Amy Schumer. Back when they were dating you could tell he was writing a lot of her material and then they split up but it was too late she was already gaining popularity and then she ran out of jokes and had to resort to stealing from other comics.
This guy is the Montgomery Burns of comedy. Even when he tries to act serious or say something good, it all ends up sideways. Stay frosty, Anthony, you're always killing it.
