This guy above would probably say his favorite comedian is Jeff Dunham (insanely talented, insanely unfunny)

I don’t see enough praise for the audio design on this special, I have never even noticed that on any special before I watched this one back to back with some other TH-cam specials back then and it always stood out to me immediately when this one came on how much it sounds like you’re in a comedy club. The glasses clinking, the reverberation, it’s fucking wild

This special got me through covid years and I’m so thankful I saw it in my recommendations on release day. I got to see Sam live in NYC in 2022 and he somehow was able to exceed my high expectations. Definitely became a fan for life. All the best from Finland!
He’s good but I saw him live in a Theater and it wasn’t nearly as good as he was/is in a comedy club, some comics are just better in a small environments
The greatest of all time, Attell is similar, still good but some Theaters aren’t the same, that’s why I won’t go see Segura in a arena, it just isn’t as good
Crowds also suck from city to city.. For example Cleveland is mentioned by tons of comics as being horrible crowds. If the same routine kills in 9/10 cities then that 10th bomb is on the crowd not the comic
