Yup , ya 4 year warranty , but who wants to get stranded or towed back , ruin an already short enough season after spending $15k . Not to mention who wants to own a Sled that blows up every year LOL no thanks.
Snowtrax is located in Ontario Canada, I live in Northern Alberta and right now we have over 3ft of snow, valemount and Revelstoke mountain areas are measuring around 7ft of snow with more on the way
I'd agree Polaris looks the best. I'm a Doo guy.thought about buying an assault. And then upon doing some homework... My buds new assault primary clutch froze. 1000 miles. My other buds new pro S exhaust sensor burned out. Limp home mode 400 miles. & My co worker tried out an 850 assault that had 25 miles & went into limp home mode during the test ride😂. He was also very unimpressed with the 850 PO power. He bought a cat instead. Lots of Polaris SxS mechanical issues to I hear. I'm not buying Polaris until QUALITY returns to their line up
so how much will a sled like this beat say a 2001 srx 700? I can't afford to get into the new sleds but also can't say i feel like my 02 sxviper feels slow to where i need to upgrade.
Great looking but mapping is off, 2 of my buddies bought this sled and both blew after 200 miles, driving moderately... I drive a 17’ SB pro S and haven’t had any issues after 2000 miles

well what turned out to be last ride of season it was about 0 out trails smooth & rock hard, i got 16 mpg. do not remember oil consumption. bought new 20 850 but at 14 miles sled & car colillided no one hurt but sled is in shop getting fixed
4yrs goes by fast , and if it don’t snow much , then you don’t use it much and the engine has low miles .. if you use it like a quad or sxs or motorcycle that’s different, but they don’t offer that 4yr because they get used !! Yes I know it’s a new engine but

Greetings from Finland!Two weeks ago the deliveries of the 850 started in here and it doesent look good. This week another patriot 850 blow up after 10km! Last week someone reached 250km and then total engine failure... This doesent sound good. Anyone has seen or heard similar?
Jason Wulff my buddy’s have the Ski-Doo 850 in all platforms and I have a 19 Indy 850. I smoke them till 110 all day then we’re dead even no matter how long we hold it

All most running out of things to do. I feel like all of them are going to come to a head of just different color schemes for awhile. I mean other cleaner running motors. Karl Clements true but Polaris is a huge company and I think they could come up with their own innovations more often. Usually they just update to stay with the trends, but they don’t start those trends. Just my opinion though

old&slow had one, plus all you have to do is go online and see owners having a lot of engine failures on early build models. Motor went on mine a couple days before i was heading north for a weekend sledding trip. Thankfully my dealer gave me a demo 800 to take on my trip.

I don't think the Ski-Doo's look that bad, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Plus, I work for a place that sells BRP products. I think all sleds are pretty unique.

Seems like another nice sled from Polaris...but, how much horsepower do riders really need? I've driven 500's, 600's, 700's, and 800's. To be honest 500 and 600's are my favorite, you don't need over 110 hp on the trails. In the mountains, it can be a different story. But, I'd bet that most snowmobiles will eventually turn electric in the future. Might be a few years, but a good bet that it will happen.

Maybe 5000? We have 5 of them... They've been ridden all over ontario, quebec, headed to the US this week. We dont come up with opinions out of no where. You dont have to agree with my opinion and you're entitled to your own. But I stand behind everything I said in this test ride and it's only affirmed more and more every time I ride. It doesnt mean I dont like other sleds, which is what some people seem to assume. But I will absolutely ALWAYS call a spade a spade when I see one.
Breakin mode is 10 hours... Rpm will be limited by about 200 but should still be up over 8000, more when out of breakin. ETH or non isn't going to make that big of a difference. Our sleds stay in ETH mode all season.
Mark Chesterman Funny. It makes that big of a difference on mine.... It’s sluggish and only revs to 7500ish in ethanol mode.... And, it’s out of break in
i got rid all my Polaris skidoos , lost all the engines , went to a 4 stroke skidoo . a Polaris skidoo u have to warm it up before using it , but u can drive it before it gets warm . it has no safety mode, which causes the engine to blow when ridden cold. at least it was for the older clean fire enginesdon't know what the newer ones are like , and don't care , not wasting any money on there junk!! i will never go back to 2 stroke engine any more especially a Polaris

@@senioraxys3947 Yup had Woody gold digger studs 168, plenty of traction...when I say it did weird stuff I mean over huge bumps it would pogo off it. Was to me not predictable. Sometimes it would soak it up , other times launch me into a nose dive. Only sled I owned that ever did that and I've had a bunch. However I did love how it would transition and lift skis so easy and was still an awesome sled don't get me wrong.
I can totally agree, but the fact is that the rush is an hard sled to ride because it feels like a motocross. Not for everybody, i came from an xc sled racing and endurocross mx background.

BUT Probably a Switchback to bridge the bumps better unless I got a really good deal on another Rush. Unfortunately I had to sell mine otherwise id still be riding it.

The Polaris switchback XCR is still the best trail sled,, that suspension is the best in the business for Smooth trails or trails with big bumps!

Lots of engine failures already, warranty claims will cost loads of money this year. Hopefully they get it figured out next year.

It revs in the 7500RPM range until u set the fuel mode to “non-ethanol” and run premium.... Then she’ll pull 8150

Polaris is good but Indy’s are just boring rmk pros are better
TDS Havoc They are totally different sleds. Trail vs Mountain sleds. They are for two totally different styles of riding and you can’t compare them.
