Love it!!! I grew up with arctic cat, until I got a 02 RMK 151" and an 04 144" for the wife. Next year I'm buying the new one, well this spring I already ordered it. Can't wait!!! And both were 800
Again just like in previous videos....I love your channel guys but you keep contradicting about the pro cc and r-motion skids. One prior vid you said that the pro cc was just a little bit smoother and capable providing the most plush ride on the snow (the 129) but wasn’t as versatile off trail....then you had said too close to call and now in this video you mentioned about how you thought the 129 r-motion was still a little bit better. So.....confused here
Rode the 129 Indy XC 850 in Old Forge NY Friday, now I’m an Arctic Man but I was impressed with the 850 very smooth and pulls amazing, handles well just much different than a Cat. Also got stuck on the Rush Pro-s couldn’t wait to get off it.
I picked up a Indy 550, 144 track, snow check for 2019 and although it’s legit the basic of the basic, it’s my first Polaris machine and I love the way the ride is and how it handles. For my body size it’s seriously the best hands down 🌨👌🏻
I was at Demo rides in Old Forge NY, my buddies stopped in at Local Polaris dealer mechanic said lots of 850 engine issues(they didn’t want to be part of the demo rides) I hear ya, interesting to see how the bugs get worked out cause it is smooth and powerful
@@donnysadventuresoutdoors3605 so what went wrong with 850, which model or all models, i know of xc129 850 owners who have 1000 plus miles & have not changed plugs. i ride with these guys 16 mpg and strong running engines
I'm torn between this one and the Switchback Assault. I had a 2012 SBA and loved it. In the years I've owned it I only got stuck a few times while ditch banging. However I want the Ice Gripper track and better skis but I don't believe the SBA comes with it. The only downside to the SBA is it was a bear on tight and twisty trails.
If you could only have one axys what would it be? I have a pro s sb and came off of a 144 sb. I miss hardly getting stuck but love how the pro s can burn down a trail. But I hear the axys switchback assault is way better than the old. But a 137 Indy with a 1.5 lug maybe could be good at both or at least good enough off. Before crossovers I was always off trail in the deep on a 121 and that was in the 90’s. You guys get to ride everything so just wanted your opinion. Ride mostly trails only because of bad winters. When the snow is deep I jump off as much as possible or avoid trails altogether but realistically that doesn’t happen much the last few years
I really like the doo backcountry, but the new Polaris sleds look absolutely sick. I think they really nailed it. I m just afraid of buying one because of their reliability. Next winter I m buying a Switchback Assault or a Backcountry...I ll do my research and demo both of them. I can t afford changing sled every 2 years. I ll have to keep it for 5 years.
Alexandre Asselin ive a 2016 backcountry x 800 and my dad has a 2018 backcountry 850 and we ride a lot. 60% off trail 40% on trial and we’ve put over 4500 miles on each sled and have never had an issue. i’ve rode an assault and the difference on trial is very small but the off trial is better on backcountry. Absolutely love my sled.
I went to hay days for the first time hoping to see the lime green/gray/black that's the one I snow check but they just had this red one looks good but I think the black one and the one I ordered looks munch better but everyone has a color they like , I left Yamaha after about 35 years and we got two Polaris 850 coming for this year so I went over this sled with a fine tooth and everything seems to be built and put together real well ! we will see this winter how everything holds up. we hade one winter we put 7000 miles on don't know if we will get a winter like that again but I am going to see I just bought a cabin in up of Michigan so I will be there every weekend riding so my sled will be getting the high mile long term test I'm leaving 100% stock to see how it holds up and going to try to get 6 to 8,000 miles this winter but going to have fun not worry about miles will just see how winter go's and sled holds up I'll let you know what needed to be repaired and what didn't how many miles and how munch gas and oil it used and see how belts hold up and I will take notes on paper with miles and dates and anything that hade to be done to sled right down to spark plugs and any adjustments with dates and miles, sled will not be abused but will be trail ridden at speeds between 50 to 85 most of the time and one or two times a day up to top end speed then back down to speed all Polaris fluids that they recommend and will be maintained on or before its called for , at the end of the winter this will tell you how well this sled is built , I will do my best to post weekly reports and miles will get started soon as trails open and we got good snow to ride on ! soon as my sleds are in and get them home I will let you know what I think of the fit and finish when I take delivery and I will keep track of the snow track reviews throw out the winter , I witch and read a lot of snowmobile stuff and going to compere my reviews with yours and then give my thoughts of yours at the end of winter ! EVERYONE HAVE A SAFE WINTER !!!!
i believe you will have no problems, just do not put premix in fuel tank for 1st 2hrs.? then next 8 hrs. more fuel will be delivered, avoid excess idling but let sled warm up before really hitting throttle. your dealer should explain everything if not in owners manual. i was only able to put 1000 plus miles on mine & it ran super best sled i ever owned from polaris
Why dont u help us out, tell Polaris we want Velocity front shocks that match the rears! Instead of those POS run of the mill fronts. Specially on a 40th anny sled. That's BS! I can get a XRS 129 or 137
I’ve literally demoed them all and in my opinion I found more flaws with the Polaris than the Ski Doo. Polaris just feels cheap and they’ve had nothing but issues with the 850 Patriot. The display is the size of an IPhone 4. The ski doos p drive clutch hits way harder too. Your videos seem pretty biased, just saying 🤷🏻♂️
I have to laugh at the comments on standing behind the sled and warrenty. They walked away from my 2012 Pro R that would not run. Put a set of pistons in which made no sense at 750 miles and 350 miles later died again. One day left in warrenty when i returned it to dealer and they would not do a thing.
could be dealer some dealers don't care about service. i know of some in my area & will not buy anthing from them. i travel 60 miles to dealer that takes care of me & all their other customers. before that i helped out at dealer who cared about sevice. i traveled only 30 miles then
129 is a better trial sled. The 137 is pointless in a trial sled…bridging the bumps theory is total BS actually. Get an assault if you want offtrail and and a 129 if you on-trail…the 137 is just confused
Love it!!! I grew up with arctic cat, until I got a 02 RMK 151" and an 04 144" for the wife. Next year I'm buying the new one, well this spring I already ordered it. Can't wait!!! And both were 800
I love my rmk :) I bought it from a guy that only put 3200 miles on it and it's pretty
Man, if it weren't so expensive for basic cost of living in northern Canada, I'd buy this sled!!!
All across Canada brother.
@@paulmiodowski allahu akbar, now where's my damn money?
The storage is awesome to carry lots of stuff and also add a gas caddy holder on the back of the tunnel
Great video! Keep up the great work! 👍👍
You can easily adjust the brake lever more towards the risers. I did that with my 2018 switchback assault and my problem was solved.
Again just like in previous videos....I love your channel guys but you keep contradicting about the pro cc and r-motion skids. Jack Skellington it’s just a comparison so you know which you should buy. I didn’t get it at first either
How about budget sled shootout next year too !!!
Polaris finally gave us what we want.
When is the XCR walk around coming? Keep up the good work.
I'd like to see a heads up comparison between the xc and xcr
Have you guys forgotten all about the touring segment? It’s almost impossible to find good reviews on new touring sleds.
what don't you own touring sled or was that a 850 polaris sled you posted blew up
@snowtrax what do you think the odds are Polaris ever come back with the dragon model? Those graphics would look great on the axys.
I could see the name making a comeback eventually.

Why didn't you like the rush
Bryce817 felt horrible didn’t like it at all,
Don Newton you would like the switchback 137
I rode a belt for over 10,000 miles, I just replaced it because it was old but never gave me any problems
Great review. I like the relaxed honest style.

AJ what's your opinion of this 137 vs the 2020 XCR 850?
AJ, please compare this 137 with the Assault 144.
Different sled type isn't it, ones a rough trail sled, the other is a 50/50 Xover.
Good for heavier dudes to ride?
the top i never had mine is 800 bleu and green i love it
Nice sled but I’ll believe they have the 850 engine problems fixed after another year of testing. To many failures
I was at Demo rides in Old Forge NY, my buddies stopped in at Local Polaris dealer mechanic said lots of 850 engine issues(they didn’t want to be part of the demo rides) I hear ya, interesting to see how the bugs get worked out cause it is smooth and powerful
What's wrong with the 600 ?
JUSTIN TRUDEAU LOVES DICK 600 is a great engine
What's breaking on the 850s?

are these trial specific? or cross over?
im concerned about reliability. Can i finally start looking at Polaris again? or will i be let down?
Is there that much difference in the 600 version of the 2020 indy xc

GratefulSledHead go for the assault, it rails conners and turns on a dime. It is a 144 but feel like a 121.
You won't be disappointed with the assault, its a great do it all sled.

What's the difference between the XC and the SP? Is the sp more performance oriented? Or XC more features? Info on Polaris's website is limited.
Sp is more budget friendly. Dumbed down shocks ect.
I want to see a comparison between the SB XCR 850 and the INDY XC 137 850
Sean Hansen The XCR is going to be better all the way around and corner better with that suspension set up.
I here snowchek a lot. What does that mean?
I see a ton of '18s and '19s Polaris for sale on the marketplaces cause they want to springcheck a 2020 Indy 137. I don't blame them, i want one too!
Good for us people that like to snag low mileage 1 and 2 year old machines too!
whats the main difference between the 137 indy and the switchback 137?
Beaver tail
Will the 850 last 4-5000 kms or will it blow b4 end of season?
I have the same concern
@@asselinpower I'm gearing towards the 600..can't kill them and are plenty fast for trails..fun too
That's a beautiful Sled!!!!
Do the 2019 owners get the 2020 updates?
Only the ECM reflash.
What's wrong with the 2019 850?..,

Jacob M thanks ! I m probably going to go with the backcountry, especially for reliability.
You guys should do a shootout between the Indy XC 850 137 and Polaris sks 850 sks
I have a buddy in Michigan that rides about 5000 miles a season. A no mileage warranty for him would be the ticket.
What state are these guys in?
Arthur Morgan Ontario Canada
Oh I thought they were in the states
Hawaii
I like how close this is to my 2011 switchback 136 i really want to get one but cant afford it😂

Switch 800 The switchback set up in 137 handles the trails and the corners a lot better than a open tunnel 137 does.
I agree,I bought a 2019 129 and can't wait to ride.Get a 129 for trail and 144 for off trail.137 I'm thinking will be not enough and then to much
