Spot on review! I have 1400 miles on my 2020 xcr and it really shows it’s potential when riding the crap out of it, on a trail that’s beat to hell.

@@edwardabrahamiii3742 I'd bet no. Most reliable would be the 600. AC/Suzuki engines are unbeatable for reliability.....from what I've read.

@@edwardabrahamiii3742 that's what I was saying. Cat 800s are super reliable. Just made sure to state that I only know from what I've read, not first-hand experience. Unfortunately.

Lol. The last time cat had reliable motors was when they were made by Suzuki. Cats 800 that they themselves are anything but reliable. They are trash.

This sled is so similar to my 2018 axys racer especially if you get it in the 1.75" track, same handlebars same suspension the rails have the braces in the same spot to me it's kinda like the IQ RR from 08

When you say cross country racer, are 850s allowed as a class out East? Just wondering, because 600 is the biggest allowed most everywhere else. Good review 👍

No you can’t. I don’t know why people think their 130 hp sled is quicker than a 170 hp sled

I know that I'm being picky, but please don't lead people to believe that this machine is not in the Axys chassis. I believe that you pointing out the fact that it has the Pro CC vs. the Pro XC rear suspension.
I am fortunate enough to be riding a new XCR 850 Indy this season and outside of the excess oil consumption, it is everything that you could ever ask for in a trail sled.

@@oldslow3694 If you're riding a 2019 I don't think that you have a problem. The previous two weekends I've put on 376 miles, using 33.7 gallons of fuel and 158 ounces of oil. That's a ratio of 27.3 to 1 , fuel to oil.

@@brianbuzick4336 i sure hope winter stays longer by me, dealer said sled might be repaired before end of season. i want to compare 019 to 020. i did not have fall update for 019 just wanted to see how it ran first with update. i did not want to put first update in, sled ran great no issues. so if i get a chance to ride i will check oil & gas consumption

I am in the market for a new ride for next season. I currently run an MXZ X 800R. It’s an 03 wth 7000km on it. But it’s time for something new. I am torn between the new Renegade 850XRS and the 850 Indy XCR. I am a trail guy and locally the trails can be pretty bumpy. So my dilemma is the 137 or the 129. I never drove either one yet but what is your opinion as I follow you guys religiously especially on your reviews.

    • @oldslow3694

what has worked for me i have 2019 & 2020 850 xc 129 's, don't want or need fancy velocity shocks they may work but what i have on mine work just fine as far as motors go to each his own here in SE wis. 850 polaris are running better then 850 ski doo but like i stated whatever you like. my 019 had no issues last season, this season had 20 update put in, sled runs even better, as far as 020 850 it is in shop, it was hit by car, no one was hurt but waiting to get fixed. also where i ride 129 track works well my buddy has pros 800 with 137 track he likes it so i guess if you can take each for test ride that may help you decide

I am sorry to hear about your accident the main thing is no one was hurt. I am down in Cape Breton , Nova Scotia so if you want groomed trails we go to the Highlands but locally no groomer so it’s pretty good in the trails now. I have test ride booked today for the 129 and 137 XCR 19’s. I will let you know how I fare off. Have you guys ever thought of doing a segment of your show here the Cape Breton Highlands are an awesome place to ride with lots of snow, good food and some great places to stay right off the trail system and some cabins right on the trails. There is approximately 1200km of groomed trails maintained by many clubs. Just something to think about. Thanks again on your recommendations and keep the Rubber side down.
