My only problem is sometimes it shows the logo randomly freezes. And the only way to restart it is to unplug it and plug it back in. Then there is if you try to hit the reboot.... It just shows the logo and it never reboots at unplug it and plug it back in. The sync problem is bad too it's always 3-4 milliseconds off the video. I've done the hard reset I have 2 shields one 2017 model and one 2019 pro model both are having the same issue. I've taken the shields apart and reapplied thermal paste. Reset them completely... Nothing same issues. Either it's the storage it's old and corrupted to much to save even if you migrate the shield with an SSD or just the shields memory by itself. I'm buying a new one 3rd one is the charm 🤞!
You gave the direction for the shield tube. what if you have the shield 2015 version. When I turn mines on my the red and white screen comes on how do I reset that cus I hear a beep everytime

I have put my power cable on a ‘smart’ plug as it’s quite difficult to access. It’s so much easier to do a power reset if/when necessary.

the app Lemuroid emulator ,it stuff up my shield i put it back to fatory settings ok now
