Looking forward to the "New Chapter" Heck I'm with you guys for the entire book. What ever the next adventure is , take us along. I would even love to see a day in the life of Jamie the pilot. But whatever you post here we will all be watching and enjoying.
We are going to miss jupee’ my wife and I watch you two enviously every time you release a video. Excited to see what adventures the next phase of your life brings you though! And look forward to maybe one day sailing a cyber 48 with you guys sometime in our future.
#2 Great video! I love those shots of Jupiter in the calm water with that backdrop. I've been telling my friends and family that I'm getting a Mumby and plan to go sailing around the world. Many of them shun the idea even some of the people that I used to race beach cats with. They say that it's to dangerous. That really surprised me to hear. It's shocking that there are not that many people that approve of what I plan on doing even though I've already sailed about 1/3rd around the world already aboard a 165 ft. gaff rigged schooner called TeVega that is now called DEVA. I'm not going to let them deter me from following my dreams. I've sent them photos of your boat to give them an idea of how cool the Mumby design is, told them how safe the design is and how adventurous boat life will be. They still say that it's to dangerous and try to talk me out of it. I've come to the realization that electric propulsion is out and that the standard Yanmar diesel size that Tim recommends is what I'll be getting. I also plan on building my own lightweight tender like an OC Tender. What's the length of your dinghy so I have an idea of the perfect size to make? How many months in total do you think that you will need to fly airplanes before you can sail full time again? The most beautiful mountains in my opinion are the tallest ones that no one goes to. You should check out some fire lookout towers to stay at like Lavina Lookout and Mt Cartier Fire Lookout. Go to Google maps and type in fire lookout tower. You will see all of the fire lookout locations there. You can also do the same thing for hot springs. Pitt River Hot Springs is a good one. Definitely check out Yosemite, Sequoia, Redwood and Kings Canyon National Park. A must drive would be from San Luis Obispo, CA going north along PCH or Hwy. 1 all the way up to Washington state, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon. Another beautiful road that you can take in your RV on is a smooth gravel road over the top of the Rocky Mountains just outside of Crested Butte, CO called Kebler Pass: Gunnison County Route 12. The pass summits at 10,007 feet above sea level. It's the highest maintained road in the world. You can also take the auto ferry from Port Angeles, WA to Alaska and drive back through Canada. If you do that trip make sure to stop off at Denali National Park, Liard Hot Springs and Jasper. From Jasper, head south to see a wide variety of wildlife such as curly Q antlers of all different type of twist on mountain goats. Make sure to also stop at some of the many lakes along the way. I think this covers it. Hope that helps.
Sailing a cat the size of Jupiter anywhere in the world is only slightly more dangerous than flying - maybe even less so if you are flying yourself into some sketchy places. So don’t let anyone deter you in pursuing your dreams - hell even if they are dangerous. As my Mother often reminded me “This ain’t a dress rehearsal”. So go for it!
@@scottwheeler2494 Thanks. Yes, no one will stop me at this point. I'm committed to getting a Mumby and it looks like I will be starting the build after the coming financial crash when the material prices hit rock bottom.
Exploring land in a RV will be fun. One of my favourite tuber is 'Liz Amazing' who presents things on RVing whose recent vids are on the pitfalls of buying a land-yacht and servicing. Beautiful bay. Cheers.
If she get the time while you're in Phoenix go check out White tank mountains it's a place to go hiking in to check out the scenery pretty cool another place to go South mountain the best time to go is of a evening you can see all the lights in the city and in the surrounding cities of Phoenix Camelback mountains another cool place if you like looking at homes some pretty cool places
Sarora lake is a cool place to go really nice scenery they also rent boats there pretty cool place lake pleasant is another lake personally I like sorora better have fun guys definitely a lot to do around there in the area
Absolutely brilliant photography in this chapter - it is on par with many big budget doccos - The sea of Cortez is truly a gem, I was watching "Onboard Lifestyle" Chanel with the family of three (and the dog) - however their focus is quite different, but, still great. I truly think you will enjoy a slow exit from the "Gulf of California", so many interesting settlements to explore. Best wishes from OZ🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘

What kind of work do you do?
It’s next chapter or just a paragraph of the next chapter. Hope Jupiter sails again with princess. And not a final sail.
I have a lot of RV experience. Let me know if you would like talk.
Are you interested in selling Jupiter? Or maybe leasing ?
land life is overrated, I would rather be on the water.
