Hi Guys, Fishing line (at length that doesn't tangle, fitted various ways, incl swivels) is light, whips around in breeze hitting/annoying them, doesn't make annoying sound for you. Fake owl (or predatory bird) mounted on top of mast. Try to use sleeved washers with fasteners, thin bike tube between surfaces, dielectric grease on raw electrics, incl sockets (i.e. the i70 connections)
For what it's worth. Gotta love aussies. Remind me of West Virginians. Love your sarcasm, wit, banter. And you are humble. Which leads me in comparison of the other channels. Maybe the youtube in the future might include some of that. There are corporate pilots who have youtube channels. You can be an all around channel.
Hi guys. Being an old fan of Trailer Sailing from Oz, I can imagine your disappointment. A friend who sails a 50' cat had similar problems with birds down-under. He fixed the problem by purchasing some "kids" toy rubber snakes, from the $2.00 shop. He had quite a few and laid them out on the deck, on the cabin roof, and hung a couple up the mast. Sea birds dislike snakes immensly. He also bought a dummy owl which he dangled aloft. They hate owls also! The "paint works" soon stopped! Hope this can assist in your dilema. Stay safe and keep on keeping on.
Greetings from Argentina, I would like to tell you that I would try to place a kind of siren at the top of the mast, with a special sound that would sound when the birds are in that place. Regars Jorge
You need to Run a 1/16 or a little bigger rope🎉 loosely above the stay that the birds are on with a bungee in between the span to inhibit the birds from perching on the stay
2nd Those wood floors are supper nice looking. How thick are they and what are the two species of wood. When are you going to paint your bilges? I've used wet sandpaper to clean my aluminum spars on my beach cat but I think there is some type of clear coating that I might have sanded through. Not sure if your mast has a clear coating but by using wet sandpaper, it works supper good to remove crap, scratches and other unsightly marks.
So what are you driving for your new job . I know it’s private and totally out understand the importance of privacy. Mexico is chill . Try a blast with the air horn for the birds . Btw the l,ss in PV are silent . Boats and planes , he with the most toys wins.
I only watched a couple of sailing Miss Lonestar videos, something not right there, and as someone agreed some years later, she got somewhere by being a ship mole.
Another entertaining episode. Ospreys are our challenge with regard to wind instruments. Curious, is Princess still singing at Gerry’s from time to time?
@@SailingLifeonJupiter That makes sense. We were going to stop by Gerry’s and listen for a bit on our way home ( we drive by it everyday) to the boat. We also live aboard a sailing cat. Best of luck to you both!
Yay! my favorite sailors! One Life may be on their way across the pacific ocean. I love those guys too. great people!
Congratulations, Princess, on your driver's licence
Thanks Genie ☺

now thats a cool design.
jamie did you go onboard, great story behind that boat here in NZ.
How to protect your boat from Pinay sea predators? Simple don’t marry but also don’t cheat 🤪
Great to see you both back on the Jupiter
Thanks guys, glad we have 2 weeks every month to be with Jupiter.
You should have some of us come out and help you guys.
use a plastic snake. interprotect 2000e adheres to aluminum oxide.
Make cones like on the dock pilings for the mast and spreaders to reduce bird dive bombing, especially from The Jack Ass Penguins.
Airsoft, nuff said
you guys are so far back in time that Delos is in the Marquesas and Calico skies are in Patagonia now
