the attention to detail is so amazing for me, the way the flashback voices sound muffled and quieter compared to the present scene voices edit: add to that the symbolism of the neutral vs good ending represented by John's seat in the ending car like him in the backseat cuz he was just being saved and led around by father garcia, vs him in the shotgun seat cuz he did all of it and saved amy as well, so now im more impressed cuz it's such a small unnecessary detail but it adds so much hihi
The boss fights and accompanying music were the best they've been in the FAITH series. This 3rd installment also seemed to ratchet up the unsettling atmosphere and general tension, which is balanced well by your both humorous and calming commentary. It is impressive just how close you got to that "best ending," all but one note away.
The Daughter of the Unspeakable boss fight has such a Silent Hill 1 BGM vibes. Also the hole jumping multiple times just like SH2 and the cursed mirror like SH3 hospital room. The developer was surely inspired by Silent Hill.
The “real” elevator game works the same way when you finish the sequence you go to the 10 th floor instead of the first. You walk down a red hallway and emerge in alternate world of our own you are free to explore it but if you mess up the game and look at the woman you will be stuck in the alternate world forever. Atleast I think that’s how it goes.

I find it very unnerving that the only thing I've heard that sort of electronic speak (idk what it's actually called) is from Bee and Puppycat which has a wildly different vibe from this. I sort of just associated that sort of speaking to an adorable puppy-cat creature that screams and pouts and is like a child but a very old child and very ridiculous. And then there's this, with demons and monsters and creepy ass shit (1:21:30 just wait for it) and a general sense of ill-being. Suffice to say, despite the dissonance, I love both. Bee and Puppycat is both action and cute, while Faith 3 is somewhat retro survival horror and I like delving in many faucets of media and genres. I especially like seeing the ways an aspect/tool can be used differently to fit into and enhance different things. It's quite fascinating.
