- Thank you to Airdorf for the phenomenal game! I have compiled together all the rotoscope scenes from FAITH (chapters 1-3). As far as I know, this is the first compilation of scenes that includes chapter three. If I missed any scenes, please let me know in the comments!
If there are any other games where you'd like to see simple, no-voiceover compilations, please let me know. Although it is certainly a time investment, it is something I enjoy doing :) - เกม

It's the saddest, but also the most cathartic, because we see firsthand that she forgives him, and he can finally free her soul from the clutches of evil.
Love how 00:50 and 12:27 are the same thing, just one is a dream foreshadowing and other is badass reality

2:03 This cutscene is my favorite, it lines up everything to come and tells you everything about the characters. Allred is secure and confident, obviously having done this before. Meanwhile John starts with his face obscured only to show a face of what looks like anger or contempt, likely aimed at the demonic forces here, but it shows that he's new and isn't entirely in control - which bites him later as he had the faith to save Amy then, but his uncontrolled fear caused him to take a deal with the Devil.
9:30 has been stuck in my head since I saw it in game... it's such a good scene and so memorable... the way he says "father ward" also makes me giggle a little bit but you know.

I disagree. I believe that God exists, but the devils, his demons and that place called hell don't, and they were only made up for humans to blame their problems on and especially to give the clerics all the power over the simple folk they could possibly have.

@@noahblanco6105 The demons and cultists in Faith are all portrayed as the enemy, and you play as a priest who’s job is to exorcise/defeat them. While there are some bad endings to the game, I definitely wouldn’t call it blasphemous. This is coming from a christian btw :)

I love how "Vessel" flickers to "Victim" at 11:54. Such a great little detail.
Also, just FYI: if you really want Gary to unsettle you, slow the video speed to x0.25. You won't regret how much you'll regret it.
I like how Gary looks different with his hood up vs hood down. With his hood off, he looks like and average, middle aged bald dude with glasses but with his hood up he looks frightening, almost demonic.
It's a like a bug trying to talk you can hear on the time you marked the wings flapping.

Something about the cutscene from 8:05-8:15 hits different. I don’t think the brutality of John’s appearance is talked about enough
That was very chilling... John is so powerful and to see him not be able to fight the injection was distressing
It is refreshing to see I am not the only one who found that smile very creepy. John could not fight the injection even in the slightest, even though he has taken down serious demons in the past (Gary's Mother, secret bosses...). The whole cutscene shows how powerful Gary's influence is, so that players truly get wary/anxious around Gary. And John?'s smile is a strong moment of this
The thing that scared me the most is how he had no chance against the injection, you can see him struggle against it for a second but ultimately there's nothing he could do.
Once you regain control of John, you can go into the next room and find that John brutally slaughtered a group of cultists with his bare hands. One of them is still barely alive and says something like "No, don't" if John gets close to him.

@@ARandomGuitar yes , basically I this ending you don't kill the demon and he gets inside of you , so father Garcia forces you in the car because the demon is inside of you.

After so many works with rotoscoping I needed a game that emulates DOS to realize that this animation technique has no limits, you can use different pixel art aesthetics to implement rotoscoping, I already want a 16-bit game using rotoscoping.
And the sounds are wonderful, it's all crappy and crappy on purpose to give you an old game feel.
For you to call it "crappy" even with the caveat of being "crappy but good" only shows a complete ignorance of the actual factors that determine a story's worth

chapter 1, missing the michael davies jumpscare and an easter egg scene when you pause the game if michael is on screen coming to you (dunno if it's present in the unholy trinity), chapter 2, missing the peekaboo monster (candy tunnel) jumpscare when you try to move when he's leaving after staring at you, chapter 3, you missed one on the final flashback (after the gary trip scene), you can try to get out of the house instead of going to the basement and it will trigger a different cutscene.

You got most of the cutscenes, but in the final boss fight when you get hit, John speaks some dialogue. You only recorded two pieces of his dialogue when John got damaged, other than that, I think you got every cutscene.
