Also, while the lynel is the overall strongest echo, don't overlook Lizalfos Lv. 3. It's one of the few that can work underwater, and has an extremely fast DPS. Spamming it over and over is basically equivalent to having an endless sword mode. I've used it against all the bosses when you refight them as one of the dojo challenges.
@@edgardo400zx If you just echo it and leave it, yes. If you spam it quickly, it will deal a hit, then you echo it and let it hit again, etc. It's very fast and effective if you do it this way.
One of my personal favorite combat combinations is the Ribbitunes + Roboblin. Summoning a bunch of frogs to draw aggro while the roboblin charges up his giant slash is a hilariously effective way of clearing a room
There are good reasons to still spin around, when spinning you move faster than wind gusts can push you back, meaning a quick spin can either get you past a gust that'd blow you off a ledge, or you can spin repeatedly to push against a gust instead of having to disable it.
IT's going to sound ridiculous, but a swarm of Ignizol has been my go to for a few dungeon xD those are surprisingly effective, and in the one with no light, it's very useful to see where you are going xD They cost 1 triangle so it's easy to swarm monsters, and also, it put them on fire xD
The greatest thing that game has for itself is allowing players to be creative. The amount of people describing their ways with things that are all different…
For the gustmaster/flying combo, you can also drop the gustmaster from a height and summon a boulder on top of it, then hop onto the boulder, bind the gustmaster and summon your flying echo of choice. This way the gustmaster is directly underneath Zelda, and while vertical speed with this isn’t quite as big, horizontal traversal is omnidirectional and very effective (even more so with a ghirro)
Took me about a week to beat the game. I feel like I mostly played it the way the developers envisioned. Now I want to play it again and basically use OP echos to break the game. LOL
As you showed, clouds are insanely OP once you get them. Although they're pretty late game. But they are basically the easier-to-use flying tile. You can also gain infinite height as long as you keep moving.
I did not get the big rock echo while escaping the castle in the beginning. Is there a way to get back? I got everything else and it is so frustrating. Thanks for any help!
@@mangos-1 Yeah... either they intended to make virtually everything in the game easily cheesable, or they didn't test. I'm guessing it's the former, meaning the cheese won't be patched out. It seems like cheese is the whole point of the game.
With all the ways the game provides to break it, even in early parts, I don't feel at all bad about just using a moonjump code. It does the same thing as the echoes, but without all the fussing about in menus to swap echoes around. If I see a puzzle or platforming challenge and immediately know a solution or two but don't feel like digging through the not-so-quick menu, which TBH is most of the time since the game's puzzles are almost all trivial, a moonjump is a lot less hassle.

Don't underestimate spawning an army of crows, The first attack they do against an enemy spawns rupees. Used it against all the bosses

really? mine usually jumps back takes 10 seconds running about thinking and then launches 1 attack

I did same thing with Darknut 3, since it has full elemental and knockback resistance.
Lizal Level 3 CARRIED the playthrough, lowkey. I didn’t even find the Lynel till I looked it up
I prefer swarms of weak echos to the more powerful ones. A fleet of ice octorocks will solve a lot of issues.

Fun fact about pathblades, you can actually stand on top of them, giving some extra versatility that reverse bind on them doesnt give!

One shotting the Lynel with a big boulder?? Makes me feel dumb kiting it through an army of Octoroks…

Finally someone mentioned clouds

The boulder? I know there are a lot of them in the area above gerudo town.
nope, their is no giant rock echo so you can't get it. your gonna have to grab it from somewhere else.
Good tricks.
I am still on v 1.0.0
How long till Nintendo patches the fun out?
I don’t think this game was even tested

They might nerf some stuff, but I feel like they wanted this game to be "broken" like this. After all Aonuma said, "Cheeting is fun." 🤣
Thanks for a spoiler 1 minute into the video.

We just gonna forget there's mechanicals in the game 😭
Well, the devs seemed to...
