i don't think i saw this anywhere, but i recently discovered that if you cut down a tree in kara kara bazaar and it happens to fall on an npc, then they'll make a different type of scream (like a more scary type ) and run away
I found another area today where you can go slightly inside the map, similar to how it’s done near the Akkala Fairy Fountain - it’s east of the Desert Labyrinth and west of the snowball shrine, where you can climb up the mountain through a small gap into the rock. Then you can climb invisible walls! I also have a screenshot of the exact location.
I had no idea about the puddle thing. Kinda makes me wish they did high tide and low tide in the ocean so you could explore extra area like caves since you can't dive.
the strangest thing about the first thing is that Lynels close one of their eyes, which means they're still learning how to use a bow (or never got out of the damaging habit of closing one eye)

I may have actually run into poison water under the plateau, lol. Extremely tiny patch of it. Like, 20 pixels. I saw no lava, but considering the scrapped code you said, it probably was that.
I have something I noticed recently: if you are holding a normal one-handed weapon, spin around with link and then press the attack button, you actually do a spin attack without charging up
You probably know that if you talk to Chief Riju at night in her room, she will be embarrassed about the sand seal stuffed animals. But did you know that if you walk down the first flight of stairs outside her room she will turn excitedly towards her seal stuffy! If you re-enter her room she will turn towards you and act serious. Its fun to watch her as you go up and down that first flight of stairs and watch her focus shift, you can really see her kid side. :)

The poison water would be cool to add to Vah Ruta puzzles inside the beast, or just had something to do with getting into the beast, like poison water in Majoras Mask, poison water was an obstacle (well, not really, with deku mask) to get through before getting to Woodfall Temple. (Also, instead of Vah Ruta flooding lanayru, what if it polluted all the water under Zora domain, and through all the rivers and lakes in the area?)
I actually knew about a few of these! I'm pretty proud of myself given I'm certainly not the most experienced, well versed, or deeply committed player of botw. I love these videos though, keep them coming when you can!
Something I discovered yesterday: 1. If your recipe inventory is filled out with meals and you go to buy something from Beedle and you have a beetle in your bag, Beedle will try to trade you something for the beetle but will then notice that your inventory is full and call off the entire trade for another time. 2. BUT, if you save an NPC from a monster attack and your recipe inventory is full, they will instead thank you by giving you a valueable item item instead of a recipe meal, such as a lump of Courser Bee Honey. 3. The 1st time you save an NPC from a monster attack, they will always reward you with a recipe meal of some sort. If you hang around them and they get attacked a 2nd time, they will reward you with an item (such as a piece of Cane Sugar). But if they get attacked a 3rd time in your pressence, they will just reward you with a Gil (basically, the reward goes down with each attack).
Oh man, I had no idea there were areas that made puddles when it rained!! That's so cool. I love how I learn at least one new thing with each of these videos
Bonus trivia for archery: It is actually worse for your aim to close one eye when using a bow, because you need both of your eyes in order to accurately triangulate the distance from your target!
Aside from breaking weapons this is a flawless ( at least close to) open world game. Notice I didn’t say Zelda game…. Gotta get the dungeon aspect back in.
Here’s one for the next video!!! There’s a special sound effect if you try to use a non-Amiibo figure such as a Skylanders or Disney Infinity figure! Noticed this when I accidentally grabbed the wrong figure lol
It's the year 2211 and humanity will soon be wiped out from the rogue AI androvirus, but there's 33 things you STILL didn't know in Zelda Breath of the Wild.
You can put a guardian underground, by using stasis on the inactive guardians in the castle town, and after it wears off, give them a little nudge in the shape of am arrow to the eye
I play with the Hyrule Rebalanced mod which uses the 'shield surf up +' modifier and can confirm that it is very fun and useful. I'm also not sure why Nintendo decided to cut it from the final release.
Because getting "Surf Up" on something used to stop you from dying clutters the pool compared to the other two options which are actually universally beneficial to stopping you from dying. Remember once you learn what shields are good for surfing you'd use said shields for surfing only.
5:50 The change in run speeds likely isn't a special addition for who's first, but just a product of collision. With the Goron in front, the Gerudo doesn't accelerate as would happen if the path was clear. Of course if I got the wrong idea and there are special mechanics here, please explain!
did you know that if you examine the one hit obliterater with a one handed weapn (no sheild) link puts his hand on his belt with the weapon which leads to some funny things
It's cool that Nintendo did their research on chameleons, but as someone who does archery I can tell you they unfortunately did not do their research on actual archery. It's a bad idea to close an eye when you're shooting
botw glitches are amazing because everytime i think that we are done finding useful glitches a new better duping method drops or a new game+ glitch drops
Love the series! Also, if you haven’t included this in your videos yet, here’s an idea that I’d love you to put in since it’s extremely uncommon. there’s a decayed guardian on mount drenna (if that’s how it’s spelled). If you’re extremely quick, you can search it and get an ancient piece before it wakes up. However I’m pretty sure it only works for the guardian on mount drenna. The video clip is on DarkStorm3’s channel, I do believe. I’d love you to include this!
You can Stasis+ immobile Guardian Stalkers before they wake up, and they'll clip below the ground, getting them out of your way. Best example is the stationary Guardian near the fountain in Hyrule Castle Central Square.

Good stuff. And no, we will never get tired of these videos.
The Goron running animation should have been them turning into a ball and rolling
Dang I wish I knew that one about making Wolf Link stronger!! Lol!! All this time I never knew.
May have wanted to save the mechanic for botw2
As they did with sky diving
possibly to keep the surfing minigame balanced
Because getting "Surf Up" on something used to stop you from dying clutters the pool compared to the other two options which are actually universally beneficial to stopping you from dying.
Remember once you learn what shields are good for surfing you'd use said shields for surfing only.
I really hope that some of these unused ideas like poison water will be used in the sequel
I love how this series is still going
5:50 The change in run speeds likely isn't a special addition for who's first, but just a product of collision. With the Goron in front, the Gerudo doesn't accelerate as would happen if the path was clear. Of course if I got the wrong idea and there are special mechanics here, please explain!
Yeah actually seems like the 2 are pathed similarly and experienced collisions like you said
did you know that if you examine the one hit obliterater with a one handed weapn (no sheild) link puts his hand on his belt with the weapon which leads to some funny things
The one with pooling water is so cool. Never realized that the map changes depending in whether it's raining or not.
This is the reason why Botw 2 is taking so long . The amount of details put into this game surely takes a lot of patience and checks .
Oh, I never knew you could feed Wolf Link, that's good to know
Your doing gods work homie. Still learning things from you xD
It's cool that Nintendo did their research on chameleons, but as someone who does archery I can tell you they unfortunately did not do their research on actual archery. It's a bad idea to close an eye when you're shooting
I love how these videos keep coming out
Feeding the wolf was pretty dope
botw glitches are amazing because everytime i think that we are done finding useful glitches a new better duping method drops or a new game+ glitch drops
This series is really cool keep it up pls
May this series never die
That Wolf link tip is a game-changer!
7:16 dont you dare say it...
