Years ago I had a Gold Wing with fixed fairing and went to a Harley Ultra Classic. I traded that for a Road Master because of the superior suspension. This summer I traded for a Pursuit because I wanted to try the water cooled motor. I really like it and the suspension again is great! The power is awesome, in fact I usually keep it in touring mode so I don't have to be so careful with the throttle. It was hard to get used to the noise of the engine but the smiles keep on coming!!
@@martyboddie9953 yes it does but I open the lower fairing vents about 30 degrees and it blows most of it by my legs. It has a Klockwerks windshield on it and that is a great addition. I had one on my Road Master as well.
I got my first fixed fairing bike in 2013 and got used to it. I LOVE my Pursuit...plenty of power and handles great. I remember telling the Indian staff at Daytona that I was more comfortable doing a U-turn on the Pursuit I was demo-ing than I was on the bike I owned for a decade! I definitely recommend the Pursuit. I haven't noticed the vibration you mentioned. It is the most athletic cruiser I have owned. There is an active recall out on the PowerPlus motor for the ecm not totally shutting down and draining the battery. They fix it at the dealer with a software update in just a few minutes...
The internet says 0-60 times for the Pursuit is 4.05 seconds. I read in a magazine review that it was clocked at 3.9 seconds...definitely plenty fast...getting close to sport bike territory...
Last H-D I had was a Road King. Now I have a Pursuit, and the FTR. I’m having fun with the Indians. I can’t go back to H-D. I live in western NC and ride the twisties alot. Indian handles better. Plus I like riding a bike that not everyone else has.
I got a new 24 roadglide myself and not really impressed with it. Mine is a stage one which makes a bit of a difference on the new motors. But for the money they are a shit bike alright. Put 28.000 km on it this summer, tft screen had to be replaced, front brake rotors warped, rear did too, the new front ones are on the way out too. Rear wheel bearings failed on it and no warranty on them even its only 6 months old lol. So looking for a new bike this winter, had a bmw r18b last year was a excellent bike no issues. Tried the challenger a few years ago and it was as quuck as my 21 roadglide with the stage 4 in it lol. Nice bike
That 108 Power Plus Motor is amazing from what I hear and see on TH-cam. I just don't like the looks of that big fixed Fairing. looks wise I just had to go with the 24 Harley Davidson Street Glide. The Harley 117 has More than enough power! Ca
If you are a true pureist you shouldn't mind the vibration. Even a counterbalanced HD isn't as smooth as the Indian PowerPlus. Especially if you've ridden HD's. The fixed fairing is far superior then a batwing design. The demo guys did you a disservice by not properly explaining the Ride Command system to you. It's very easy to navigate and program a destination. I'm happy they offered to lead you though.
There's some rumors flying around about some major updates coming to the Chieftain/Roadmaster and Challenger/Pursuit lineup in 2025.
I have heard some of those rumors. I hope they are true!
I love my Roadmaster, but the Pursuit is in another league. Awesome motorcycle.

Does your Pursuit Powerplus motor put off much heat. My Roadmaster put of a tremendous about of heat during Texas summer riding.

Challenger rules!

Nice video keep up the great work
I bought a 2024 Chiefton dark horse from there. I love the bike. Traded my 2019 Harley Davison ultra Limited in on it.
How do you think your Chieftain compares to the Harley Ultra Limited?

Traded my Challenger for a Chieftain. Challenger didn’t really fit me. I found it top heavy and the turning radius difficult. (22’) lock to lock.
😂
If they have RADIATORS ?
WHY do they run HOT ?
I love my 24 road glide. If Indian motorcycles was really Indian motorcycles, I'd consider buying one. But they're polaris, not indian.
😂
