If they add it, it should only be some years in the future. I am pretty sure time in the pony universe and the equestria girls universe are different. If it is night in the pony universe, it is day in the equestria girls universe, I noticed it. I am pretty sure a week in the equestria girls universe is a year in the pony universe (I don't know, it isn't confirmed). The ponies in the first movie said it was a SUPER long time, so maybe. If it has been 1000 years in the pony universe, it would have probably been 19 years.
Agreed. I still think they should make a special where they actually graduate from high school and 'go their separate ways' as they're going to college or whatever.
And let's be real here, they are seniors in high school. You can see the photo progression of Sunset Shimmer winning the Fall Formal Princess 3 times in a row. And since they're in high school, it's only natural to presume that those 3 photos are of her as a freshman, sophomore, and junior.
It's still so sad to me that the cancelled the finale of eqg... The fact that they were supposed to make something to wrap it up like the main show😭
I really wish Equestria Girls got a proper series finale.

or at least give it a proper ending about Equestria girls, about what the future could be for the Mane Six and Sunset

Friendship games would be s tier for me. It's my favorite. Only bad thing about it was cutting the original version of "what more is out there" but I get it because it wouldn't fit the story

Sunset ends up leading the EQG to protect the world against Equestrian magic so it would simply state openly what they end up doing anyway

You definitely nailed it with Forgoten Friendship, my favorite special (my second favorite is Magic Dance), because it really had it all, and was important in Sunset's arc.. I was really feeling very sorry for Sunset, (it would also hurt me if my friends forgot me or if I lost the memories of my high school friends).. The scenes that touched me the most were: Sunset apologizing to Celestia; and it hurt me a lot when her memories were taken away (even from her human life), it was very heartwrenching
I completely agree with you about wallflower blush having weird motives, they really could’ve just added one scene where sunset was mean to her in the past and it would’ve made sense.
I think that actually mostly Wallflower did it out of envy, that Sunset used to be mean, everyone forgave her and forgot the bad things she did and now like her (but the thing is that Sunset worked on her redemption)
I feel like social anxiety (and accompanying atrophied social skills) resulting in one and the same person both deeply wishing they had relationships while also actively trying to not be noticed or remembered actually kinda rings true. As for why she hates Sunset in particular: villain Sunset was at the top of the social hierarchy. Now good Sunset is at the top of the social hierarchy. Of course in reality Sunset has changed, but if you're at the bottom of the social hierarchy and are resentful about it, it would be easy to think "eh, nothing's really changed, she's manipulating people just like before." More centrally, though, Sunset suddenly made six really close friends. From Wallflower's (subconscious) perspective it's like "okay, universe, when you were giving out extraordinary good luck this year, why'd you choose to give it to the person who's been a bully for a long time? Why wasn't it ME who was randomly granted six really close friends? I need them! I was never a jerk to anybody! I deserve it more!" Of course the reason she's never been a jerk to anyone is that she never talks to anyone, but it makes sense why Sunset Shimmer in particular would be an object of resentment for her, and thus become the specific target of her general frustration with society as a whole.
I enjoyed your video, it somewhat matches my top too. Equestria Girls was my childhood, but it saddens me that I missed many things, the last thing I saw was Mirror Magic and I thought that was the end, because after that I was already 13 years old and I didn't find any more trailers, that's strange to me . If I knew that Forgotten Friendship and the rest of the specials had been released, I wouldn't have missed it, I liked watching the specials recently, I'm happy to rediscover this. I admittedly wasn't a huge fan of the first EqG movie, but Rainbow Rocks changed my opinion on EqG completely! In fact, I'd agree with you on most things, except that I'd put the first EqG movie a fair bit lower, and I'd probably place Spring Breakdown a bit lower as well since I thought there was a lot of wasted potential with that premise, sadly. I absolutely adore Rainbow Rocks and also Forgotten Friendship, followed by Sunset's Backstage Pass and Friendship Games, and then most everything else. Oh, and Sunset Shimmer is one of my favorite characters ever, I definitely agree! I can't imagine EqG without her.
yeah, I can't imagine EQ Girls without Sunset either, that's why Forgotten Friendship hurt me, that her friends didn't remember her being there in none of the big events in the movies, because they wouldn´t have managed to succeed in none of those big events without her

My only real disagreement is that I wouldn’t put anything EG-related in F tier.
I also really like Legend of Everfree. It’s my second-favorite of the four movies, and I really like the finding-out-and-learning-to-use-new-powers storyline, and that’s most of the movie. I think “Embrace the Magic,” Legend You Are Meant to Be,” and the opening song are really good as well. Last thing is the introduction of the human world Elements of Harmony is really big to me (I literally screamed for joy when I figured that out).

Haven't heard that name before. I've heard Sunset's transformation there be called Daydream Shimmer.
I can see Daylight Glimmer working, in a way, Daylight being equal but opposite to Midnight. But I like Daydream Shimmer better.
hihi Soda!! U may not see this, but i just came to check in and it looks like you are doing great!! You probably get this quite a bit especially on videos that dont have to do with the mlp videos you used to make. But, I’d like to say you have impacted my life a lot since i first saw episode 1 of Too Young. It was my entire childhood when i turned 10 and was deciding if i wanted to continue drawing or not. I feel it affected me creatively because I remember reenacting the scenes with my own mlp figures and I would just do it for hours on end then draw ponies the rest of the time. I am now 18 and still drawing and recently started remembering the things that influenced me to pursue art. Idk this is more of a ramble and i didn’t know how to put it together in a way that made sense. I hope one day you can have the time to read this because i feel like a lot more people who watched your videos feel the same so i just wanna say thank you! Mlp was definitely an escape for a lot of young kids going through things and im really glad you brought together a nice community with your videos. Much love !!!! ❤️ - j

I would love to see you rank all the EG songs. And for wallflower blush I believe that the reason she possibly targeted Sunset the most was probably because she maybe thought “why is a ex bully able to make friends and not me?” Type of thing. Because I can see why she’s more mad at sunset since she did bully mostly everyone at the school and Wallflower blush was just there and wasn’t able to make friends like sunset did. Idk that’s how I see it as like why she targeted sunset. But I loved your tier list I agree with it whole heartedly

Eg defo doesnt hold up to MLP but as a kid i was obsessed when the first film came out, Not to mention Sunset Shimmer is such a good character who deserved so much more. The songs were also bangers, i wish they created a finale film.
I wish Hasbro had created a proper ending for the show, I would like it to have been about what the future of Suset and her friends would be, of course after their prom; An idea of mine is this, if someone wants to read it: the Mane Six are going to study their careers, but what about Sunset, what could her future be... could the special be about her debating what to do? If she returns to Equestria to finish learning magic, but in the end she decides to stay in the human world, as guardian of the magic of Equestria that may be loose there and also if she finds any other magical artifacts lying there (recover them and destroy them or save them); or explore (like when in Springbreakdown she found another portal other than the one with the school statue), and record everything; besides she was the first to cross the portal and know what is on the other side of the mirror, and live in that another world (until she crossed, no one else knew exactly what was in the other world), so, that is the role that I see that she could do being there and she has already been doing it, of course apart from studying a career there, I don't know who would like this idea, and it's great because the ending should have been about what the future of the Mane Six and Sunset will be.
I started watching mlpfim when I was babysitting my little cousin and got hook on the show and I love EG a lot. My favorite character are pinkie pie Fluttershy and sunset shimmer from EG. I'm 39 now and I'm rewatching it mlpfim and EG again. And I'm was disappointed is G5 only thing characters I like was Izzy and misty
Devastated EG wasn't finished and how the majority of the fanbase hated it at least back in the day. I was an EG defender day 1 and Sunset quickly became my favorite character in the series overall
Also I think Wallflower could have been interesting if her motive for Sunset specifically was that she used to be a bad person yet she gets all these friends meanwhile for Wallflower, she never (at least to her) has done any wrong and is all alone and forgettable. Even if she wasn't mean to anyone, Wallflower still could have just pushed people away or actively avoided them (ala goob from meet the robinsons tbh) and she was taking it out on Sunset thinking if SHE could get friends, why can't she?

Y’all don’t come at me, but I like Everfree more than Friendship Games, mostly because of the music. I love embrace the magic and stand for Everfree.
I also really like camp mysteries and even though this one is very obvious and predictable, it scratches an itch for me.
It took me till last year at 21 to not only watch friendship is magic but also the equestria girls movies at first I wasn’t sure I was gonna like them since the idea of it seemed a bit stupid having the pony characters as high school students but after watching all four of them it was definitely much better than I thought there just nice easy on the brain films that I can definitely see why everyone would enjoy them the best part of these films are the songs and sunset shimmer.

imo legend of everfree had a couple peak songs and thats all i remember about it lol
just pointing out camp of everfree when they get tent assignments pinkie pie and rarity are togehter and applejack and rainbow dash are together but in the next scene applejacks walking with rarity and in the background pinkie pie and rainbow dash are together😅
