It's 2015, 5 years after Minecraft started and now it's been sold to Microsoft, and the fanbase is dying rapidly, isn't it like, 2-3 years late for a Minecraft movie? Not to mention that the movie will possibly be coming out in 2018! That's 8 YEARS after release of the game! By that point, the game will be older than most of the kids who play it!

People could go and watch the movie and get bloody nostalgic because of how long it's been!
haha hate to be that guy but i saw MC coming.. i preordered it before the client came out for $5 and used to play on their official creative browser servers on the website.. the first thing i ever built was a house with a hidden underground hydroponic grow room lol now i can see "Rising World" coming... thats the next big thing in that genre... i saw mike coming too but that has left me emotionally scarred...

The first would feature an invasion of Endermen and the journey to kill the Ender Dragon, then the Wither trying to conquer the world with a reborn Ender Dragon. Finally, a random kid would get cursed and become Herobrine. All three would've been live-action/CG. If the MC movie ends up sucking (And I'm not saying for sure that it will), Hollywood, give me a call!
