Hey Robbie just a tip all plumbing bolts such as drain plugs are tapered so they come out fairly easy

Top tip, always open the fill plug first. If the fill plug is seized, you won't be able to put fluid back in it after you drained it. 👍

Really happy you made this video I was considering welding my diff and this vid made me so hyped to do it on my car too!!! Also I think I watched the exact same tutorial where he put the gloves on the diff after welding! Think I may struggle with out a lift and doing it on my own but I’m gunna full send it
This is by no means a tutorial on how to weld your diff nor should you if you ever want to turn a corner on pavement. If he daily drives it like stated it will break. Not if but when. Cast needs to be preheated with a torch then cooled slowly (not with a glove) usually a kiln and stepped down in temp to prevent cracking/breaking. I've seen guys wrap parts in fire blankets and throw them in a cooler or dig a hole in the sand and wrap then bury the part to hold in the heat. Remember he opened with "I don't know what I'm doing here"

Pro Tip. When draining a gearbox diff etc, remove the fill plug first. A. It helps it drain better and B. If it rounds off/breaks at least the oil is still in it so the car can still be used if necessary

robbie please get a BK2 timing chain before the motor goes kaboom. the BK1 tc tends to snap or skip at high rpm. trust me, just do it😂

Dont forget to change the diff oil after driving it a bit, it helps clean out all the splatter from welding
Should have just bought an R-Spec from the start man, comes with a manual, brembos, and an LSD. You could have got one with a clean title and pretty much full bolt ons for what you dumped into this by now.

Robbie, I hope you see this comment. If you start pushing more horsepower on the Genny, consider adding a second diff mount. Your rear subframe already has the hole for it and it's the same as a stock diff mount from Hyundai. I'm a big fan of the Genesis and watch a lot of videos on it and every single person has always put that second diff mount in due to the horsepower.
Emerson should definitely buy the wheels, Robbie buy some te37s for jenny, or some bbs
