Kudos on the image quality in this view, those shots of the center iDrive screen are insanely crisp! So great to be able to follow along as you demo the infotainment.
You mention the complexity, but one think I love about BMWs is you can just get in and drive. The basic controls are simple and intuitive. The seats take no time at all to find a good position. I think they do minimalism really well.
It used to be the case that car review videos spent 10% of the time going on about the control systems now we have got to a point where 50% of the car review video is stuck in a car park not moving and reviewing the extensive menu structure of the interface system. So out of Spec will in the near future be spending 90% of the car review stuck parked explaining at exhaustive length about the haptic touch, gesture control, Eye blink rate, facial smile response access to happy music times. As well as delving into 15 layers of sub menus to adjust the wipers to the current music selected track. It's not too late Kyle, to turn back to real reviews, remember those when you used to drive the car.
The XC60 has one major flaw, which is that they went with 40/60 split seats and a tiny (itsy bitsy tiny!) ski hole in the middle. The Chinese clearly don't know what it's like to carry 4 pairs of skis with two kids sitting in the back. These Swedes would have known.... Other than that I love the XC60, but had to go for the X3 instead for this reason.
I have an issue with my X3 and Cut off sound ! The Harman Kardon sound system suddenly reduce the quality of whatever Media source I give him , like Carplay or Radio ... For one day it sounds amazing and another day cut off and sound is horrible ! So strange behaviour ! Sounds like in background ... Any idea guys?
So, you consider a plus that there's no cover on the charging port??? Wow, so professional.... I wonder why you didn't say that's a big plus the fact that this car has wheels....

I am a BMW guy as well, and after owning like 9 models I must say you know your stuff ! Excellent video.

3:35 I don't think it removes the volume slider but instead removes the small box to the right showing you how to do the gesture.
How do you like the 330e?

Maybe use Bimmercode to turn off the engine sound design?

He didn’t mentioned the MPG lol
We haven't tested it! We don't go by EPA ratings here as they are often wrong.
