Passenger side Blend door actuator 2003 Yukon XL

Changing the blend door actuator passenger side for 2003 Yukon XL. Changed do to hot air blowing out passenger side only. I was able to get both screws back in and fastened. Get a pry bar. Tedious wrenching and much patience will get it done.

Fastest way to get this done without cutting the vent with a saws-all is to go ahead and remove the dash (not that bad a job - lots of videos out there), and then loosen the bolts holding the air vent in place. Take a long pry bar through the air bag hole and use the metal bracket for leverage to lift up the vent and you'll have plenty of clearance to do the work.

Did you put the other screw in that is closer to the driver side?

Are the passenger and driver's actuators identical? Or are they location specific?

How did you calibrate it

If you removed the neg cable from the battery, it will happen automatically when you start her up. Just don't touch the controls.

there are other videos out there that go into more detail on how to do that - for the same reason. But this guy's hack on the ratchet probably makes all the difference.
