So glad you finally get'r back. Ever figure out the vibration? I have a new pilot as well and there's this weird resonance/vibration that occurs while driving. I've noticed one of the shields under the car is very flexible and am wondering if that's it as wind baffles it and bumps, etc.
you may be doing this already, just a reminder turn the ECO mode off (turns off the green leaf in the guage cluster). a shame there's no temperature guage, unless it's a hidden feature. a number of aftermarket companies have something that connects to the OBDII port and will give you 1 or more functions to moniter engine temp, etc.(for what the Pilot costs it should have that AND a coffee maker!)
I felt the vibration in tires also and didn't like it so they checked it and balanced the one tire, but what I think it was is out of lane feature, get near lane line and it shakes the steering wheel, I disabled or adjusted wider the sensor so now no vibration,
Thanks for the update. I'm chuckling, because how could you recommend this when the engine blew up. Thats pretty serious that the head failed. Did they say if it swallowed a valve or a guide ?
I would have told them to replace the vehicle. I purchased a 22 pilot and it was broken straight from factory. Shaved intake valve, causing oil to get sucked into places and smoke out of exhaust pipe. Needed a new head…. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is happening on the new vehicles as well. Told them give me another vehicle, I don’t want this one lol. So they replaced the whole vehicle. Don’t worry, you’re definitely not alone. Wish I would have kept my 2.0t accord. I keep telling people be aware of these new Honda products. They lost their "touch" since covid, I believe. I’ve had Honda vehicles before and after covid. Seems people putting these engines together are being sloppy with it.
My pilot is AWD and the loaner is AWD. I got the front left tire balanced and it is still doing it. I think you are right on something wrong with AWD. We are about to take it on a long road trip, we will see if it makes it. It will be the first long road trip since it was fixed.
I have an Elite and I feel also a vibration. Can’t figure it out currently have 6k miles. The symptoms start at about 45 and just continues all the way up.
You dropped over 40K on this vehicle & these idiots only repaired your vehicle with a cylinder head? That is completely unaccepted man. At least, they could have swapped the engine with all brand new one with new motor mounts. You should reach out to Honda corporate for compensation & also file a complaint with your attorney general office.

@@spitfyre1551 no I never figured it out. Let me know if you do.
@@zx9green791 Will do, currently have a few things I'll be going over with the dealer on and it's one.

Is your Pilot AWD. Wondering if the vibration is due to the drive shaft compared to the loaner was just 2 wheel drive?

What’s wrong with your pilot?
