Planning for the future, I've had my eye on the 248 Explorer. I like the hybrid nature of Eastern boats Cruise/Fish/Weekend capabilites. The 27 is just more of a good thing.
I really enjoy watching your videos Captain Steve, it’s like me going fishing on my 15 footer Triumph 150cc, takes my mind away, even if it’s for a little while. Even with my little boat, it costs me several hundred dollars to get it serviced annually. I can only imagine how much it would be on this beautiful boat! Boating is such an expensive hobby! I wish boat makers would make more 15 footers and smaller boats for everyone….. Unless you have a lot of money to spare, bigger boats can really drain your savings, so watch out!
It's a mid-coffin. If your mean old Aunt Harriet dies on your weekend trip to Nantucket, you can stick her in there, throw in a couple of blocks of ice and finish out your weekend!
One of my life goals is to have Capt Steve assist me choosing a boat to buy.
Great little weekend warrior, and easy to clean. Thumbs up!!
Another great boat review Captain Steve! Thank you for reviewing New England boat builders!

Looks like a fun little boat...though that mid-cabin reminds me of climbing into a morgue drawer!
