Went from 30 to 5000 subs in two weeks because I made ONE video which had no competition but high search volume. Watching this video after that is just confirmation that no video should be made unless its a good idea, and its worth investing more into the idea.
I personally use Answer The Public. as well as the TH-cam search feature. After watching this I am going to start checking out Vidiq for my video ideas.
I started a channel about 2 weeks ago about how to learn a language and my journey in trying to learn as many languages as I can. The think media videos have been helping so much with figuring out how to structure stuff and really just getting my confidence up as a TH-camr. Thanks so much!!!

Actually we found the opposite true when we started.. if you can jump on trends you can grow much faster, you aren’t competing with bigger channels you’re riding a wave that they created. Once you have built a reasonable size audience you can start to make more Original content. That’s been my experience 🙏🏻
@@DadVGirls I suppose that could be true in terms of growth. However, personally I would rather do content I enjoy for the sake of loving it rather than chasing trends for views/fame. But what do I know, I’m the #1 Most Lamest TH-camr :)

Hey Sean, thanks for another great video! I was thinking about your quote from "The Art of War". You always say "Punch Fear in the Face and Press Record". With the Research before Record, the more Prepared you are the less fear you will have, which in turn helps make it easier to press record. That's what I took away from it. Thanks for all the help!

Hey Sean. I was listening to your replay on this live stream, and I wanted to comment on the video that I want to do next. I was thinking I'm going to make a video on five reasons a person working from home shouldn't wait to buy the new iPad.
I definitely watch a lot of investing content on TH-cam including Gram Stephen, Meet Kevin, etc. An interesting video idea that I’d love to see from you guys is what is the ROI on creating a TH-cam channel from big creators on YT in terms of cost and time relative to investing that same amount of money and time into the stock market, real estate, crypto, etc. Is creating a TH-cam the best investment someone can make in 2022?
I always think of what would be valuable to people in these hard times, what they would need, what I would need to hear to feel better - ans then I start researching around that topic. So do you think keyword inspecting from vidIQ will show me what my locals are interested in? Or is it showing global stats? Hope you answer this.
I have no competition that I can find. Ive looked for months with every keyword I can think of. I think I have a "lack of heart" from the public. I dont see that being something we overcome.
