I had a bird call video with over 300k views from search. I had to delete it because youtube wouldn’t monetize it. It’s sooo hard trying to get them to rank any other of my videos in search and suggestions. TH-cam keeps getting suggesting my videos to foreign audiences. That’s what’s hurting! Thanks for the extra tips.
if your video couldn't get monetized, why did you delete it then? If that video does bring in your audience, you can make money from views on your other videos, right?
@@thechrisverhoeven Nope , if one video doesn’t get monetized than your whole channel is not eligible. TH-cam makes things for difficult then it is.

No, not necessarily. Monetization on TH-cam is based on the content of individual videos and whether they meet TH-cam's policies and guidelines. Having one video that doesn't get monetized doesn't necessarily mean your whole channel isn't eligible for monetization. However, if a large portion of your videos violate TH-cam's policies, your channel may become ineligible for monetization. It's important to regularly review your videos and make sure they meet TH-cam's guidelines.
@@marketingwithRobertNewlan It’s only one of my videos, I had to delete because of monetizing. If I kept it, my whole channel wouldn’t be eligible. So by deleting it I lost most of my watch time hours and target audience.

10:00 this is called "keyword stuffing" and is forbidden by TH-cam. If they catch you doing this, they can potentially end your channel.
Actually, if you read the TH-cam terms of service, which I’ve checked with a rep at TH-cam, it’s only not allowed if the keywords are irrelevant to your video. Like using crypto related keywords in a workout video description. My use is perfectly fine. ☺️

I'm wondering if it's harder to rank in search as a new channel, since I made a second reaction channel, and when I used to post the commentary/reaction videos on my channel they would rank immediately, but on my new channel no matter how many key words I include in the description and how good my tags are the videos still don't rank, while having the same keywords they would immediately rank if I posted them on my main channel, so I'm wondering of these something behind it.
Age old theory! I've been messing around with a new experimental channel that I created about a month ago and focussed solely on growing it using SEO techniques, and it's gained about 61,000 views since then! All about optimizing videos and creating videos that perform well and send the right signals to youtube!

What Is A Good Search Volume To Target??
Had fun learning how to create my content and even creating the channel. But, all of this technical AI stuff kind of sucks all of the fun right out of it.
I have a small gaming channel and I have over 1000 videos since I started 2 years ago on YT. I always prided myself on getting 100% for my seo score until now. Now, i noticed that not only are my current videos at 40% but all my earlier videos are now 40% as well? What am I missing here. What happened with these optimized scores?
So keywords=tags? Are we supposed to be using these in our title and description or speaking them

Only if you’re stuffing keywords that aren’t relevant to your video
Can you just leave a list of keywords at the bottom of your description and still rank?
