Hi Pat! This was a greatly needed topic for me, so thank you.
Regarding 6:30 have you found the right religion or are you still searching? Or to make it more clearer, if Christianity were true would you become a Christian? (if you are not 😉)

But I feel obligated to write to you because of the inspiration, and knowledge you are giving me everyday. Ive been following you for 4 years. You will probably never read this but I will remind you when the day comes that you will interview me cuz of my accomplishment. I see you one day. I salute you, and pray for valuetainment.

This video is a gold mine. I use the principles presented here for any kind of research that I do.
What do I mean by that? Let me explain.
Me and my wife, we moved to a different city 12 months ago when she was 6 months pregnant.
A new city, a new area, didn't know anybody. The first thing we had to find was a gynecologist.
Before moving, I jumped online and made a list of 60 gynecologists from the area.
I went through specific key points that they had to meet and got their contact details.
I called all 60. Those that responded I had a conversation with. Those that didn't I text messaged them. If they didn't respond in 1 day, I would email them.
From 60, 17 responded. From 17, 4 were able to see my wife in the next 7 days. From those 4, one called back 30 minutes after our initial conversation and said they can see us today, at said time.
    BOOM!
This is no different than sales. It's prospecting. We should be prospecting in our lives when we want top talent. When we want the best that our money can buy. If we are not willing to go through the hustle to do so, there isn't enough pain or we are just lazy.
Loved the video. Great takeaways. Reinforced my thought process and improved things I was unsure of. Thank you, Pat.

I believe Hans Krebs (Nobel prize winner) said that understanding the history of your field allows you to understand where you stand in your field now; otherwise, really good knowledge may be lost, or you may repeat others' past mistakes. For example, in the nutrition world, there were many competent scientists that disagreed with the simplified notion that dietary animal fats are the primary cause of cardiac disease. Unfortunately, various agricultural lobby groups and politicians purposely and/or naively allowed Ansel Keys to brainwash the "that LDL is bad, and that animal fats increase LDL"; and this belief was based on unproven and even disproven hypotheses that many scientists at the time (and prior scientists) were aware of! Soon after, public health released food pyramid recommendations that recommended high carb, low salt, and high vegetable oil diets. We now seem to be paying the consequences of this, as old science and new science are refuting it...At least more people are starting to understand the history of nutrition.

Reasons to research: entertainment(not a debate)
    Self education(know better decision)
1)Choose a topic(wanting get married, buy real estate, move Texas)
2)What am I solving for? Buy/sell, partnership, relation, lifestyle
3)Go get as much data/stats: what causes fear of getting married, in Austin, trend look likez which city attract more texas... 1200 rent
4)Hear opposing views( LeBron vs mj, only CNN/fox, belief /not)
    5) 2 people who I value their opinion, and ask them
    6) come up with own decision

Random Idea off the top of my head; contact someone who owns or runs a meditation business / tracking product or App and simply ask them if they’re willing to share their stats or talk about general stats as they’d be aware of all that if they’re credible - Repeat the process with multiple businesses/ people in the location you’re require the stats from (US or UK etc)

This is video is really really helpful and realistic at the same to me unlike alot of videos that just tends to say the same things over and over again but there is just a few things that I didn’t like , first of all the video in my opinion could have been shorter and he was talking with maybe not enough preparation but thats just my opinion and as someone who has been watching videos that are shorter than a minute so i guess I don’t have the right to say that and the second thing is the examples he gave were all to sports and politics and things that were a little difficult to understand and not everyone wants examples like this maybe examples that are easier and we face everyday but maybe thats just my opinion cause english is my second language

With this particular topic on research I have heard that Sentiment Analysis or opinion mining is a good way of identifying potential leads through social media platforms. Would you say that this is a good tool and if so what software or package would you recommend using? And if it is not a good tool to use why? Kind regards.

If i may have a say here, start out with just one, get good at it and then go out into other territory. If you search, Pat has warned a few times not to run into multiple markets at the same time. It is just too risky and unreasonable for a beginner... It will burn you up faster and tend you to loose focus... Plus the added burden of multiple business moving slow. Better to have one business moving forward steadily and picking pace.

Adding Real Estate to Your investment list is like forming a safety net, since everybody needs apartment, and its not a trend its a need. While any business can loose at some point from wrong or late information if it is concentrated on technology or customer focused. Real Estate has its perks, such as collecting stable income for years taking only a few days of work (Time of making the deals). I surely agree with you that real estate is not as much fun as owning a Business and sure is not enough alone to become financially independent. If you don't like real estate, you can invest in farming, since it has high returns ex: Plant an Avocado farm, Pine farm, Animals farms. Animal farms are very profitable since you pay once for them and they will increase in numbers alone. This simply allow you to Provide needs as well as luxury, as well lets you apply the formula of creating more Assets from your previous assets ex: ( Animals reproduce and increase in numbers as well as Real Estate, you can buy an apartment and rent it. Once you got your money back you can buy another apartment and you can double the process by taking mortgages on your real estate to acquire more real estate and rent it). Btw Thanks for these awesome videos that are teaching me A Lot, i think you should consider making a book of all the information you are sharing in these TH-cam videos. People need to Know This. I think its a must know information and i am sure a book containing all that will be a best seller. Plus you already have the contents so no need for creation, only organizing the videos into chapters... Hope This Helps, you can contact me on Mathieu@klippme.com to discuss more this interesting topic.

Great video! Research is a very very important skill to learn. A couple older members in my family recently got into studying on the internet and didn't know how to research properly. Now they have developed into hardcore conspiracy theorists (lizards, chemtrails, the government is getting ready to kill us, Alex Jones, etc.). I can not stress how important this video. It broke my heart to see some of my family members go down the wrong path all because of research. My grandma was victim to some currency "investments" which eventually crushed her and I. I was very young at the time and it taught me how to think critically and research better. Not all have the privilege of learning from a grandmas mistake at a young age. Great video Patrick!
