Italy did the best job at translating the songs and making them great in another language. That is a fact. Normally Germany (my country) is known for very good translations and voice actors but I am utterly ashamed by what they did to the songs, especially the voice of Angel.
@@andreasantini7301 I can't speak for the lyrical translation because I only know some words from Assassins Creed but the melodies and voices are stunning.
I actually really love the slight differences in the phrasing, some of them are more poignant in this translation! I know it's gotta rhyme and work syllabically but some parts are just great in this version If heaven is allowed to make mistakes and punish those who find good in themselves so good!
Just to be clear, the English text you see in this video is a translation of the Italian adaptation, not the original English lyrics. But in case you already knew this, you're so right, the lyrics are really faithful to the original feel of the song while still showing original and creative ideas!
