I just don't get the comments about the amount of my income. If you see what every user gets for a dollar per month or even per update. It always sounds like that it just needs money and everything is automatically working great.
@@drconflict629 ur acting like this happened over night.. in reality, this success was build over many years. u have to be dedicated when u make ur first steps in learning those skills, when no money comes in. u have to be dedicated to further improve over many years, where still little to no money comes in. and even if u become really skilled, there is still a high chance that u will never make much money from this. reality is, most skilled artists, programmers and game designers will never earn anything close to that. its skill, dedication, knowledge and luck combined to become a high paid earner in the industry. majority of us will be happy if we some day earn 40k a year. and if doing all this was so easy, then way more people would make completely game altering and enhancing mods like Peter does. and with 1$ hes literally the "cheapest" offering u can have for AC mods, while making the best contend. Also he does not force anyone to pay this money. majority of creators settle for smaller changes like making ppfilters, car mods, audio mods etc. which are totally awesome and should be respected aswell.
I don't think AC/CSP/Pure can/will be able to compete with the new AC EVO! But AC is a different universe when it comes to mods. And thats why i believe that it will last many years as a playground for mods and people who want to have a drive in a non racing manner. And so i think it is realy worth it to hold it fresh, because many people will still use it...

Amazing optimization!, i play with Quest 2 on a laptop with Ryzen 7 5800U with a 3050ti at 55w , so my setup is VERY limited in resources, i have my own optimizations like open composite, oculus tray tool and open XR tool kit to modify the FOV vertical and horizontal FOV, fixed foveated rendering. now im able to use the sunblinding filter with Single Pass Stereo along with other shaders and the game is a flipping dream to run at 72 fps with 40-60% of GPU use ! thanks Peter !

It blows my mind how well this runs in VR while also looking extremely good. This is some black magic stuff. I can't help but compare to iRacing where I constantly struggle with VR performance lately meanwhile the game both looks worse and runs worse.
How to reset game time everytime i restart a session? The time will keep moving foward even after session restart (for example, i set time at CM 14:00, play the game until 14:30 but when i restart the session it's still 14:30 not 14:00) With SOL it reset automaticly but Pure doesn't.
Just had a chance to test the update in VR on my Pimax Crystal on a 7900x/4090 setup with LCS. I'm able to crank out 119.3 FPS average on the Zandvoort 2024 track with a 24 car grid, settings are pretty much maxed though I do set the FSR setting to 87%. Using single pass with the Nvidia VRS set to 4x and wide without FSR comes in around 70-80 FPS. It looks great! Excellent work!
@@FUCKITGIVEMETYPE2 I keep it set at the default balanced setting so it should be 3,234x3,828. I could probably bump it up and lower the refresh rate to 90hz but I really like how buttery smooth the 120hz looks.
@@user-mfsc-2024 there is no difference, just install the latest Pure exactly like shown in the already existing video. You just need to extract the 4 folders apps, content, extension and system to AC root folder. It will be always the same!

@@Mizt_Plays Pure LCS is a different weather style. The former Pure weather styles is now called Pure Gamma. This stays the same. But Pure LCS is new and has its own config and PPfilter settings system.
Hey man I downloaded pure 0.271 today I was using an old version before but there was a problem. The sky is dark in the csp preview version and pure does not work. But it works pure in free csp version, the weather is getting back to normal, please help me. Greetings from Türkiye

If no, what is the benefit to either of those, especially the paid Custom Shaders Patch, which appears to only be a dollar on patreon itself, and as popular of a subscription there as Pure itself is.
Hello, its incredible the work you do, just a question in Pure LCS I believe 0.40 there was a bug when going through tunnels (SRP for example) where your screen turned black and then go to normal after exiting said tunnel. Have you looked into that?

Wow, you're outdone yourself on this one. As a VR user I can't believe how many improvements there. Ironically I am having some problems where I can't use any of the new app GUI's in VR because the left mouse button is disabled for app buttons. I can click and move windows around and the mouse works fine until I enable the GUI extension in CSP. I'm at a loss.
Peter thank you for your amazing work. One question - I love the sun disc effect but unfortunately this effect is not visible from onboard camera behind the wheel (whereas its present from dash and other cameras outside the car). Is there any tweak to enable it from behind the wheel view ?

In a replay and standard CSP settings. The CPU is not used much in Replays, so i have the most load from the weatherFX style script and so i can measure it more precise. In a race the AI have a lot of influence on CPU. Also, only in a replay i can make a 1:1 comparison..
Now all we need is for tracks to have actual trees that don't look like they're made out of paper. I know it's not a shader thing, but if modders could somehow bring leaf generation into the game for proper varied 3d trees, it would be huge.
could you also please include side by side render stat comparisons of the older and the new version? sometimes I used SOL for more FPS in league races, so this would be a nice info to have
you could easily do this yourself. But you can clearly see the difference in the render stats, that Sol is not good. In the weatherFX stat you see, that Sol uses a rare update and this only updates everything after a certain amount of frames. This rare update you see as CPU spikes and it actually causes microstutter. Sure it could be that with Sol it SHOWS you more fps, BUT at the cause of this bad microstuttering. So just don't use Sol anyway, it is not worth it. Its code is really bad....
Damn the optimisation is actually crazy
Optimization was the craziest part to me. Getting LCS to run better than the vanilla game is nuts to me.

AC needs an physics overhaul as well.
CSP extended physics are present.
Quest 3 with a 3080 and pixel per eye set to 1.3 @80hz in AC is the best vr experience around for sim racing...with this addon.
