This is really interesting. I thought that I was an intp but I was really confused and a lot of things didn't really click and she typed me as an entj! And a lot of things make sense right now.
I didn't expect that you were going to say ENFP in the end, but I'm glad you did because I would also type you as ENFP. And you were also right that you would rather rely on trustworthy outside sources than your own internal logic as one sign of preferring Te over Ti. Someone who prefers Ti over Te (which includes both INFJ and INFP) often take dubious outside sources as long as it makes sense to them and would have a hard time relying on reputable outside sources which they can't/don't understand.
Exactly, I definitely outsource some of the thinking, although I do make an effort to clarify any hesitations or curiosities I have (and I did so do after I was typed)
I am an ENFP as well and had the same struggle with INFJ. I think being Highly Sensitive affects this, and can make an ENFP with this trait more introspective!
Yeah for sure. I actually think ENFPs are no more extroverted than they are introverted. We are in our heads all the time. The reason we have an E and not an I is mainly just cause we like to perceive the external world
Hi, do you have problems with being late or slow? I am just interested, are all HSPs are slower than other people in everyday activities or in studying ?
I would say that HSPs may be more inclined to take their time with decisions, the work they do, etc. because of their depth of processing, attention to detail and “pause to check” instincts. But since I’m an ESFP, my dominant Se wants to move quickly on all fronts and get into action as fast as possible. So it’s a paradox that I do struggle with
