As a person that works in a warehouse, I'd say this is a pretty accurate sim. Just dont look at the demons too long and they cant hurt you.

Those aisles seem awfully narrow, like… that’s just an accident waiting to happen, our aisles are like twice that size and they still get fairly difficult to navigate.

Ha yea. Where I work you need to tilt the forks back all the way and run it up to the third shelf just so you can barely skim the shelf on the opposite side on the turn to get your pallet in position.
As someone who works in a place with aisles this thin, some business owners are that stupid.
my boy, I don't know why I am commenting on this, but at amazon we've had aisles about as wide as the forklifts(pickers in this case) themselves. some of us would drive through there at full speed.

Interesting concept, but I'm really getting annoyed at developers not putting subtitles in their games. Trust me, you will never get the audio mixing right. It can't be *that hard* to program the game to show subtitles for spoken dialogue?
It's not, but i assume the developer(s) is american, or hails from a english-speaking country at the very least. People that have english as their primary language seems to hate subtitles with a passion for some reason.
It's a running joke in our media that most of us hate subtitles , especially if the characters are dumb / sporty / "jock" and Blonde cheer leader stereotypes. I had actually come to prefer subtitles over time even if some body is speaking English because some people are still not always easy to under stand even when they are speaking English. The exceptions of course are people like me who love Anime and foreign film.
Yeah, English is not my primary language and usually I understand pretty much everything, but when the audio is distorted like this I just can't and I get frustrated. I gave up trying to understand it halfway through the video lol
Yeah, it's really annoying. I struggle with audio processing problems but I can't imagine how much worse it must be for hard of hearing people. Adding subtitles can't be that hard, and it's so beneficial to so many people.
@@artemis1993 I love subtitles since sometimes a person's voice is completely indecipherable, and subtitles allow me to understand them.
Theory: We played as Mary in “food for pigs”. The red eyes in the first game were either the staffs from the prison project or more pigs. Our second character found bloody boxes that is Mary’s body/body parts or other victims.
I read this comment and thought it was funny that someone would make a theory on a different game. Then I read the description and realized ohh they're sequels.
And that's why the pigs have a taste for people

That forklift game's aesthetic was creepy. You're alone but hear noises, see strange boxes laying around. Do pigs like tomato juice that much? We'll never know bc once you entered thru the door of the Redrum, it was all over.
I really didn't get the second game here except of course for the need of the toy boat. That was the only part that made perfect sense.
Moral of the story: Bacon. Lesson learned: MBH is an incredibly talented forklift driver.

As someone who was forklift certified at the main warehouse he worked, I *wish* the forks could clip through everything you didn't want. That would've made work so much easier

I've had this job, yea that creepy face always appears when your 4 days into a 6 day week and running on 2½ hours of sleep and about a dozen energy drinks... just keep your eyes forward and try to ignore what sounds like your deceased mother's voice pleading with you to come down that last asile at the back of the warehouse which the lights don't quite reach.. _just 2 more nights... just 2 more nights.._

Hey bro! I really appreciate creators like you and I like your games! Though what I can critique about them are the incredibly dark maps, the combination of font style and their color making them a bit unreadable sometimes, I think the voice acting is alright (keep working on it!) but it's hindered by either ineffective sound design/sound engineering or simply the lack of subtitles. Overall, I think the visual and audio accessibilities of their games are frankly a little bad... Still, the style, plot, game mechanics, ideas, pacing, etc is really really good and interesting tho! Please do keep making games, many people love them and I do too! I hope my words help in a way! Keep making these!!!

What timezone does Manly operate in again? Sometimes he uploads just before I sleep at midnight, other times he uploads just after I wake up.
Well, if he's located in the same state as his PO box, then he'd be in Florida. But PO boxes can be wherever you want them to be so this isn't foolproof.

Thats so awesome. Dont recall ever seeing a game with forklift mechanics actually doing materials handling. As a warehouse foreman I feel this is a genre severely underutilized. Could be the next "convenience store" horror fad and I look forward to seeing it.

I'm digging the food for pigs series, almost as much as they dig eating you! It's good fun.
As a warehouse worker that warehouse gets a 3/10 safety rating. I don't see any managers or supervisors there to have extra eyes in case something goes wrong, the incredibly low lighting is incredibly unsafe, storing food stuffs along side product such as fiberglass means there can be a risk of cross contamination, the warehouse doesn't look refrigerated meaning the mean will likely spoil.
And while there is no set rules as to how a warehouse should be set up
Ware houses are meant to be done in aisles, not mazes.
That spill is also another violation, doesn't matter the situation, you NEVER drive over the spill and you would mark it off as unsafe and either clean it yourself or if you don't have the ability, report it to someone who will.
I'm getting Happy's Humble Bruger Barn vibes from this.

I'd wish to see a longer game in this universe - and I don't mind just a bit longer, like what you said about the forklift one - really a longer game, with various types of gameplay maybe, and multiple endings. Like a true big story. It would be interesting.
