Nice vid. I've found that the Pocket 3 isn't great for mounting on cars as it tends to vibrate the small gimbal too much. Larger gimbals like my old Osmo with X5 camera (from the DJI Inspire 1) worked perfectly. Action cameras are better for car mounting on a budget as it's the interior sensor that is stabilised so it works a lot better. I wonder if prolonged sun exposure would cause the suction cup to release. I have these suction cup things for a dash cam type thing in my truck and the damn thing seems to fall down if I leave it more than 30 minutes or so in the hot sun. Annoying.
It's possible. There are versions of this that have a battery and automatically add suction if it starts to release. They seem to be pretty expensive, though. If you have expensive gear, it would make sense to protect it, though.
