EXTREME TEST: Car Mount Suction Cup with DJI OSMO POCKET 3

- Join us as we do the ULTIMATE Car Mount Suction Cup TEST with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. We will mount this SmallRig Suction cup to the car and accelerate up to 180 km/h. See if the suction cup survives the test...
On top, we will also be testing the Freewell mega 14 filter pack (including ND & CPL filters) for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 to see if the wind might blow them off.
We will also be shooting some roller car shots of random cars, using this Smallrig Suction cup & ND/CPL filter pack, so stay with us to see the results of these car rollers along with the camera settings of the dji osmo pocket 3.

@@TheCarVideoGuy Perfect! I'm just starting out with creating videos and all of that so thats the reason why I dont have a lot of knowledge on all the products. There are a ton of suction cup mounts out there, for example the ULANZI SC-02 and also one from NEEWER but I reckon Smallrig is a very good company making awesome products. I guess I will secure it with another tether/wire just to make sure in case the suction fails but I doubt it will at this price tag haha. @@vrayn3870 yes indeed, securing with another extra tether is ALWAYS the vest way for safetyman i 100% recommend it. Indeed there are many other but for me smallrig is most trustworthy i guess together with Ulanzi, but i had to choose one so 😃 anyway enjoy bro have a good day. Appreciate you passing by!
Glad you tested this I want to use mine for drag racing as I don’t like how the 360 cam looks I’m not a fan of the fish eye and this would be way more cinematic I just lock onto the car before I go and let it track is as we race
Aah cool bro! That seems like an awesome idea i think that would work great tbh. Just make sure to tether it for extra safety i would say (i didn’t do that though 😅) let me know how it goes!
Besides the suction cup, how does the extension handle from the osmo pocket itself holds? I have trust in the suction cup but the little add-on is what is botthering me to do it.
Hey bro appreciate the comment, and i understand your concern but do you mean the battery handle? to solve this you can get the an OSMO POCKET EXTENTION ADAPTER. What I do personally is attach the wrist wrap to the osmo abd wrap it around the suctuon cup so IF the battery handle would come loose, it’ll just hang onto the suction cup/ magic arm :)

Too bad you placed the sucking cup at the back of the car where it is somewhat protected from the wind.
True story, i’ve tested it ok the side aswell driving 120-130 for a while though. Ill make a video soon
@@TheCarVideoGuydid it hold up well at those speeds? Also how about the front hood low angle what you think the max speed would be before the gimbal gives up? It also prob eats through the battery fighting the wind you think?

Yes bro that’s correct, if you look closely , you see my friend dragging a green square over the car on the ipad, this way the camera automatically tracks the car (or any other object). Do you see what i mean?
@@TheCarVideoGuy Thanks! It occurs to me that insta360 can do this by editing, which is super cool that one don't need to manually follow objects, which might be useful in single person sports (motorcycling/cycling etc.)
