Today i'm getting back on my Dasp after not playing it for 10 months and right away, i felt right at home .

I’ve got nearly 2k hours in this game but hate official server pvp cause I’m bad at it and everyone seems to mixpack. However, watching your videos has actually taught me a lot about fighting. I was able to fend off a mixpack of a meg, spino, kentro and cerato while almost taking down the spino (he fled to water when he got pepperoni’d), all as my own Dasp. Dasps are incredible if you know what to do and thanks to you, I survived that encounter 😂 Amazing content as always!

Finally, Krawll admitted that he had something close to his "favorite."😝 I really like the original juvi to adult, but these PvP-focused ones are cool too. Nice fights💪 BTW picno and cera have the armored tail ability, which means virtually no damage. In my opinion, a good picno player can take down anything, with due time. I can't wait to see you play as a picno, once he's grown up and won the poll.
There will be a new episode of Juvi to Adult somewhat soon.

fun fact about dasp vs pycno, last I checked speed dasp actually outruns pycno. It still doesnt outstam it tho

This video was really, really good. I tend to agree about the dasp, (at least when it comes to carnivores). i love the mobility, the trot speed, i love the timed heavy bite ( i know you'll say you missed a lot, but i think personally you have really great timing with it and landed the bite whenever you needed it the most).
I have to say, that sarco player with the asphyxiating bite really surprised me. That was the first time i saw it being used strategically and i love the way it enhanced the charge bite drastically, because once he knew you couldnt run he basically had control of the fight. I haven't used either abiltiy on sarco but now i'm thinking i want to try that combo out.
And, i really liked your usage of replay mode in this video. they were all well placed. its neat how you used a slow motion in some instances to highlight critical moments in the battle
That Sarco really took me by surprise with that build as well. I had never fought anyone using the Stamina drain bite and by the time i realized what was going on i was already out of stam lol.
That combined with the fact that i had missed all my heavy bites, i had to get creative for an escape 😁

@@catpoke9557 Not sure i would call it a new Meta. I certainly could have done better against the croc if i wasn't such a goof and missed all of my heavy bites lol.
That being said, that Sarco's build certainly has potential and is for sure worth exploring some more. 🙂

That iggy fight is why I never chase things down with under quater stam. I always save a decent chunk and play the slow game after that cause oof getting caught without stam is the worst!
Yes that was for sure a big mistake on my end !
Him walking away from me made me think to myself, he's out of stam and probably getting very injured.
This made me become more daring and less careful.

PoT really needs to take a note from how DayZ handle server hoppers.
In DayZ, if someone server hops to get more loot, the game will spawn them in a brand new location each time.
PoT really needs to consider adding this in someway, on official at least, where each time you log onto a dino, unless you logged in a HC, you'll get a new spawn. That for sure will prevent people logging and jumping on other dino's just to feel some sort or ego boost from finally killing something they were already struggling to kill.
Yes it's true, having some form of mechanic that prevents these exploits would be nice !

Good luck with your Dasp... i would say it requires a bit more practice than other dino's but it's a very very good dino.
The first fight reminds me of exactly why I switched to community servers. The losers who can't just accept the L and will keep hunting you with all their friends and their dinos until your dead AND even call you trash at the end. These people ruin the game.
God damn, I'm 29 minutes in and the more I watch this the more I hate official servers. This shit is insane. So scummy
You can definitely tell that Pycno has some experience. It was just being to impatient. Pycno requires a lot of patience and timing to kill a dasp due to its better health and stam regeneration. Pycno I think you will enjoy so fast and high damage just no defense or health lol
Yes the Pycno had experience for sure.
The fight was very close and interesting, despite the long periods with nothing happening.
This is what happens when both players sort of know what they're doing , we both don't make it easy for the other player. 🙂

This was one of your best videos yet, in my opinion - especially from editing perspective! Action packed, but edited beautifully, which gave the fights a sense of story (showing where your challengers went or how they closed in etc). But having said that, I have to add, I still find your juvi to adult videos the most comfortable, enjoyable, relax..able and exciting entertainment TH-cam has to offer. Mainly because we see the growth and evolution of the dino, and also because it has your thoughts and ramblings while you do quests or adventure on. So in short.. keep doing what you're doing, mate, you seem to only get better at it and your (healthy) passion for this shows!
I have no questions for the breakdown, but I loved how you smashed the team in the beginning of the video, all the fair 1v1 fights (even with someone attacking you after the win) and yes, I agree, you should've joined forces with that pycno and taken the horned menace down together! XD

I have to confess after my last Juvi to Adult, there were two things that really weighed me down and both of those things sorta created a mental block to where i had no idea how to edit the second episode.
-I knew i couldn't go back to the way i did Season 1 because with the replay tool, everyone is using it and if i don't use it, i'm gonna fall behind everyone else.
-I knew that i couldn't edit it exactly the same as Season 2 Episode 1 because, even though many people loved it as is, others gave some very legit feedback about it being a bit difficult to follow during fights because i made too many cuts and showed too many different angles.
-This kind of made me happy because that form of editing was extremely taxing on me but then i had no idea how much of the replay tool i should use to be able to still make a good video.
This whole thing caused a huge mental block so i decided to put it aside until i could find the inspiration i needed to get passed the blockage.
That is why i started the War Room series and publishing a bunch of shorts.
A new series gave me the chance to try out different editing styles and different ways to use the replay tool.
While editing this Dasp video it all clicked and i also started using features and tools within Adobe Premiere Pro which i was not using before and those things improve the workflow considerably.
Now i feel ready to work on the next Juvi to Adult and i feel good about the future of the series 🙂

After all, this is creative stuff you're doing, and as such it IS always going to be quite personal thing to do, and feedback will surely have an effect on the motivation (even the good and encouraging one sometimes!). You've always been so good at receiving feedback and asking for viewers opinions, and I can honestly and without a doubt say you're smashing it at the moment. Just remember to enjoy everything you do - it always shows on the final product! Can't wait for your next video, as usual! :)

A really great video krawll! Your choice of music with the fights goes so well. Your video footage was perfect. Really enjoyed the way you edited and showed live recordings as well as game play very seamlessly. The Allo fight amused me as it looked like mine and Jaktogs Allos, but we only made them this week so it definitely wasn’t us haha.
The trees can be so aggravating sometimes on Panjura if you’re any decently sized dinosaur. Definitely a well worth the wait video and I’m looking forward to you trying out Pycno (if it wins the vote!)
Oh and I forgot to mention I was very impressed with the sarco player. Being on land is scary and use asphyxiation as your defence was such a good move. Really sad the other guys butted in. Would love to see how that fight turned out.

Dont waste your time biting kentros unless they are low. If you just tail attack on dasp youll actually kill them quickly. Let them come to you and they will eventually kill themselves

Yo, try more brake checks with the heavy bite, let them follow you then presice walk backwards while turning & anything bigger than a laten is an easy hit

Also just FYI if you don’t know, some creatures have different turn speeds depending on how youre turning, whether it be pressing a button while precise turning or just turning in place. Dasp for instance turns faster when it strafes (wasd + precision) while rex turns much faster when just precision is being pressed. I recommend using alt as your precision key, helps me out a bit more since my thumb reaches it instead of having to use my middle finger which I use for s and also x when I had it for precision, which is the default keybind. Hope this helps a little lol!
I only knew that the Sarco can do it faster while backing up but i had no idea the Dasp could precise turn faster while straffing , that's news to me, thanks , that will help for sure :-)
@@KrawllUnchained sarco is the same from my experience, I always test my creatures turn speed even when I first create it and time in my head how long it takes each movement type to do a circle and then face the same direction, for sarco from my experience all of the precision turn strafes are good but s depending on the situation is most useful as you can move your butt away and your head close. I also play sarco quite a bit recently in deathmatch and havent really tried axshisiating (butchered word) bite yet, but that looks fun to use against land creatures like dasp 🤣

i've come under the belief that if i suspect someone of dino swapping while another keeps and eye on me it is best to keep moving, makes the eyes job more difficult and hit them as much as you can while moving away.
Awesome vid man! Great content.. my only criticism, is if you'd have uses reg bite in half of those fights you would have won alot faster. So many missed heavy bites. Theyre harder to hit, reg bites is your dps

I feel your frustration with never being able to enjoy your victory win! It's so annoying isn't it 🙄 but you fought great! You calling the sty at the end really tickled me 😂😂 I was like did krawll just say what I thought 🤔 then you said it again! 😂😂😂 Glad it's not just me who calls the other dinos who can't hear me 😂😂 but in my opinion if your in a fight n need to swap dinos to win then its cheating 🤷♀️ plain and simple! Think in future though if a dino just hangs around and doesn't kill you it's either waiting for debuff to disappear, friends or is questing and waiting for things to respawn although the last one seems the rarest option I'm not trusting anymore I give a warning first but if they hang about I'm attacking! 😂 think u should do the same, better safe than 💀😅😂 but yeah great vid 👏 very entertaining! I’m sorry, but even tho this PvP is great but those Dino’s were suspicious off the bat when mix packers come around. I would’ve already fled b4 they got the chance. Bc there’s no point if they’re gonna keep running like cowards and changing to a different Dino. Ppl like this piss me off in official😂 I would’ve already been GONE, that smell of mix pack was easy once that Cera left and the Laten came in. I knew it like you but I would’ve ran by then. Make it a farther run for them.

I feel like I've seen that exact cera and laten combo. I was killed once by a black cera and a laten that had been rampaging across the whole server- a lot of people died to them.
EDIT: Nevermind, they didn't have a swarm of friends like that, it was just the two of them

That’s 1 salty player you had at the 24 min mark really kept changing Dino’s several times just to kill you
I agree its super weird how people switch dinos because they lost or were losing a fight and had to bail out, yea its official and I love the no rules anything goes but the one minute timer to log out seems like its abused way too much and it probably happens to a lot of people in which case hurts official for all players vets and newbies. I think they the logout should turn into like 5 or more minutes instead, just my opinion. :}
I agree, if the timer was extended to 5 minutes, it would prevent players from being able to do this .

The juvi to adult had been put aside temporarily because i fell into a big mental block.
I will write a community post where i explain why this happened but the mental block is gone now and i will resume working on it now.
This Dasp video helped me figure some things out on how to proceed with the Juvi to Adult videos.
I see more clearly what i need to do now and i feel very good about the future of the series 🙂

I don't know if you noticed that i only started doing the "spin heavy bite" thing later in the video. The one where i'm running in one direction and then start a heavy bite while turning around to bite someone behind me.
I learned that from you.
The video compilation where you played Dasp and i think you fought a Kentro as well. You used that spin move with the bone break but as soon as i saw that, it occurred to me that i could do the same move with the heavy bite so i started practicing it and it leveled up my game so much.
I will give you credit for that when i do the Breakdown and i'll give you a shoutout 🙂

I hadn’t actually watched the video as of commenting but I know its gonna be good, those precision turn bites are REALLY useful due to dasps really good precision turn speed, so its almost needed when fighting agressive kentros or really anything behind you. Glad it helped!

I always play on Official, the growth is only as fast as you're able to quest.
Official servers don't have passive growth.

Hi... any trailmakers content coming soon or not?
I feel bad for having put aside my second channel for so long but i'll be honest, during the time when i was posting mostly just trailmakers, it hurt my main channel a lot and i'm still struggling to get back into the momentum that this channel once had.
I know for a fact that i will go back to trailmakers at some point but i know it will not be until i finally publish another Juvi to Adult video on this channel first and this could take up to a month.
My question is why didin't use regular bite almoust nothing when u fight the kentro (first kentro) even when u have chance

30:13 you won if it wasnt for the stupid sprint glitch, i knew what happened as soon as you didnt sprint there i hate when that happens
Yeah that glitch is annoying and ti doesn't only happen with sprint for me, it also happens with precise movement.
Whenever you saw me try to bite someone behind me and my dino didn't turn around while i was biting, it's because the game didn't register when i pressed precise movement to turn. It happened like twice against the Achillo's in GLC and i think once against a Kentro and also it happened when i tried to sprint away from the Sucho as well. I pressed sprint but it didn't register.
@@KrawllUnchained also, ik you like using heavy bite, and you're good with it, but you should go for normal bite if the animation startup is going to cause a whiff, you did great in this video and you're improving a lot at pvp altogether im glad to see how good you've gotten. i cant wait to play again i had a hand injury weds where i lost the tip of my finger so im out of commission for awhile lol

Since when were you a PvP player? I thought you were still the chill Krawll, guess Panjura forced you to be a PvP player! Anyways, I think the dasp you fought was on log in debuff. No way an allo would be that untouched by a dasp.
I've always been a PvP player but the thing that i am not is a KOS player.
I always loved the pvp aspect of the game but i don't attack unless i'm hungry or defending myself or defending someone else.
Yes Panjura might have made me a little more aggressive since everyone attacks on sight in Panjura, or almost, but i'm still not and probably never will be a KOS player.
Some of the players were straight bots 😂
The Achillo was slicing the Rex so you loss your buff

I play all my games on keyboard and mouse, all of them.
You can tell the mega groups are just children because of how desperately they need just that one kill, so desperate for even the smallest win. 5v1 at less the half health and I bet they still talk shit in chat lol

I try to log in official server, but seems like is so empty now a day
It’s extremely full. All the time. Try logging out and in again. Sometimes it puts you in a dead server. But there is ALWAYS an 80-90 player server.

Official servers are kinda empty compared to community.
Sometimes is so rare to find more than 2 adult dinos at the same place of the map...
Most times i log on Official servers, there are 80 players or more but sometimes when i join a server which has just been reset, i can hop in and there is only 25 players or so .
But after 20 minutes the server is almost full again.
The only times the amount of players on a server is low is when the server is fresh.
