Good to see a video like this. Obviously, as people love to point out, any dino is better in duos vs solo, but certain pairings just work extra well together as you've showcased here. Dasp + Sucho is not to be underestimated!
I would like to give a underrated Tyrant paring and that’s Alio and Dasp since they both can benefit from all for 1 and tyrants roar stacks making Alio quite scary for its speed and big power boost and its ability to run for days it’s scary at chasing slower midtiers and since Dasp is tankier with higher damage and health it help can protect Alio from things it can’t normally kill. Obviously Alio is very squishy so that’s a big downside. Very good combo overall though 👍
Shhh don’t give people ideas about tyrant roar stacking dasp with an alio group 😂 Jokes aside, it’s a good honorable mention!
Amarg for the WINNNNNN i love amarg to bits just didnt feel like i could play it easyly with how much it was targeted back in the day NOW though *evil hand rb* all i fear are apexs and suchos

Well more of any Dino = better chances of success, yes, but I put this list together so people could see some of the top best pairings for right now in the current meta :)

I think you underestimate Metri on its own. It can definitely contribute to a fight since it has the weight of hatz, good health, very good turning, and its claws do good DPS+a second healthbar. it can do good in solo as well in groups and in some cases I think it is better solo
Oh I'm not underestimating metri, I know it can be good. It's just worse all round solo cause you lose a heal, there are better solo options. It's attacks also don't do nearly as much damage as other things around it's weight class, and you have manage stamina well as well. Definitely can fight, just more on the support side
i personally like the 2 Alio plus Rex combo, Rex has the muscle and HP to beat any 1 up and the Alio has the speed and stam to run any1 down, plus Tryants roar for the Rex while Rex Deep rumbles , same with Conc and Spino
An underrated pair is achillo and sarco near a river. An achillo can defend the sarco from like a pair of spinos, and if the achillo is low the sarco can bring them across the river. (Mostly a benefit for achillo but still good for sarco)
Definitely mostly good for the achillo there haha, but sarco is a useful transport. Not much an achillo can do for a sarco in a semi aquatic fight
For the first one you should have mentioned that the Amarg thing doesn't work with 1 of the 3 subspecies

Can you make a video about how to tail ride more specifically on controller I always try my best but it doesn't work but I see people always easily doing so I'm wondering if it only works on pc
I play pc, but I know some people who play with controller that can do it fine. What platform are you on?
I play on controller and have no issue tail riding. I'm curious exactly what it is you're struggling with. Is it good players brake-checking you? Is it that you're slower with worse turn radius? Need to know what dino you're on too, to sort of nail down what the problem is.
My fav is eotrike and pt theri

You have forgotten the Eotrike with Ano, or Eo and Lambeo combos.😊
EO with ano is essentially dasp + rex but worse in many ways. Ano is much slower and can be avoided by anything, defeating the point in the bone break/heavy hitter strategy. Not to say it’s not a good duo, it just only works defensively.
So basically: random dino + healer. And daspxrex.
